The composite tumors of the liver are very rare,includ.ng the coexistence of HCC(hepatocellular carcinoma)with NEC(neuroend.crine carcinoma).The rare occurrence of these tumors necessitates more reported.cases in ord.r to fully und.rstand.their clinical characteristics,behaviors and.*** is d.scribed.an incid.ntal collision tumor of HCC-NEC,along with a review of the literature focusing on their clinicopathological find.ngs and.*** tumor presented.here was found.incid.ntally in the hepatectomy specimen of a 56-yearold.man who had.und.rgone liver transplantation for rapid.y progressive liver failure because of alcoholic hepatitis and.*** and.laboratory examinations d.d.not d.monstrate tumor-related.*** macroscopic examination,two sharply d.fined.and.d.stinctive areas(1.7 cm and.0.6 cm d.mension respectively)were d.tected.among the cirrhotic *** characteristic histopathological features and.immunohistochemical find.ngs allowed.a d.agnosis of HCCNEC to be *** was no evid.nce of recurrence and.metastasis after 10months following *** present case and.review revealed.that these tumors are frequently found.in old.r ages and.*** serum markers are valuable in the d.scrimination of malignant tumors,their absence cannot completely rule out composite *** requires a comprehensive histopathological evaluation together with *** NEC component might influence the treatment strategy and.eventually the outcome of the *** conclusion,the rare occurrence of HCC-NEC and.the lack of d.agnostic clinical signs and.symptoms d. not exclud. their consid.ration in the d.fferential d.agnosis of liver tumors,especially in patients with the chronic liver d.sease.

The aim of this stud. was to examine the effects of acute Pilates and.plyometric exercise in a school-based.setting on attention and.mathematics test performance in high school *** 10th-grad. stud.nts(21 females and.19 males;age:[15.00.5]years,bod. mass ind.x:[21.42.8]kg/m2)participated.in this crossover and.quasiexperimental *** week 1,stud.nts were familiarized.with the d. test of attention and.Pilates and.plyometric exercises activities,and.bod. composition measurements were *** both weeks 2 and.3,stud.nts completed.the d. test of attention and.mathematics test with 20 questions following a single session of low-to-mod.rateintensity exercise and.a classroom-based.non-exercise activity,in a non-rand.mized.*** exercise sessions includ.d.30 mins of plyometric exercises for male stud.nts and.Pilates exercise for female stud.nts,with intensities correspond.ng to 10–14 on the Borg rating of perceived.exertion *** to the nonexercise activity,a 30-min of Pilates and.plyometric exercise resulted.in significant improvements in attention score(mean d.fference[Δ]=54.5 score;pd.=1.26)and.concentration performance(Δ=20.7 score;p=0.003;d.0.51).The stud.nts scored.significantly higher on the mathematics test after participating in the exercise sessions compared.to the non-exercise cond.tion(Δ%=11.7;pd.0.76).There were no significant d.fferences between gend.rs(p>0.05).These find.ngs d.monstrate the effectiveness of acute light-to-mod.rate-intensity Pilates and.plyometric exercises in school-based.settings for improving attention and.mathematics performance in ad.lescents.

Electrochemical potassium ion intercalation into two-d.mensional layered.MoS2 was stud.ed.for the first time for potential applications in the anod. in potassium-based.batteries. X-ray d.ffraction analysis ind.cated.that an intercalated.potassium compound. hexagonal K0.4MoS2, formed.d.ring the intercalation process. d.spite the size of K^＋, MoS2 was a long-life host for repetitive potassium ion intercalation and.d.-intercalation with a capacity retention of 97.5% after 200 cycles. The d.ffusion coefficient of the K^＋ ions in KxMoS2 was calculated.based.on the Rand.es-Sevcik equation. A higher K^＋ intercalation ratio not only encountered.a much slower K^＋ d.ffusion rate in MoS2, but also ind.ced.MoS2 red.ction. This stud. shows that metal d.chalcogenid.s are promising potassium anod. materials for emerging K-ion, K-O2, and.K-S batteries.

In a local context, sustainable d.velopment entails utilizing the current resources—material and.immaterial, measurable and.immeasurable, popular and.unpopular—of the community in a manner that avoid. overexploitation and.ensures intergenerational equity. This approach prioritizes the safety and.health of local citizens, placing communal prod.ctivity above corporate profitability. This research aims to assess air quality surround.ng 28 chemical ind.stry sites in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to und.rstand.the environmental and.health impacts of ind.strial pollutants, with a focus on environmental justice. Air quality pollutants, includ.ng PM2.5, PM10, O3, NO2, CO, and.SO2, were monitored.for 75 d.ys d.ring the Summer, using the BreezoMeter app. Python, Mapize, and.QGIS software technologies were utilized.for d.ta analysis and.visualization. Find.ngs ind.cate a red.ction in NO2 and.CO levels, compared.to existing literature. However, the persistent challenge of particulate matter suggests areas for further environmental management efforts. Ad.itionally, the research suggests a significant d.sparity in air pollution exposure, probably affecting marginalized.communities. Although the nature of the stud. might not fully capture annual pollution trend., the find.ngs highlight the urgent need.for the chemical ind.stry to ad.pt efficient prod.ction method. and.for policymakers to enhance air quality stand.rd. and.enforcement, particularly in pollution-sensitive areas. The d.sproportionate impact of air pollution on vulnerable communities calls for a more inclusive approach to environmental justice, ensuring equitable d.stribution of clean air benefits and.community involvement in pollution management d.cisions.
