Fused filament.fabricat.on(FFF)is one of t.e addit.ve manufact.ring processes which has gained more int.rest.because of it. simplicit. and *** t.chnology is similar t. t.e convent.onal met.l inject.on moulding(MIM)process,consist.ng of t.e feedst.ck preparat.on of met.l powder and polymer binders,followed by layer-by-layer 3D print.ng(FFF)or inject.on(MIM)t. creat. green part. and,finally,debinding and ***,bot. t.chnologies provide near-dense *** work present. an in-dept. st.dy of t.e processing met.od’s *** porosit.,microst.uct.re,hardness,corrosion,and t.ibocorrosion behaviour are compared for 17-4 PH SS samples processed from powder by addit.ve manufact.ring using FFF and MIM,as well as convent.onal powder met.llurgy(PM)*** samples exhibit.d t.e highest.macro and microhardness,while corrosion behaviour was similar for bot. MIM and FFF samples,but.superior in comparison t. convent.onal PM ***,t.e FFF-as fabricat.d samples displayed a significant.improvement.in t.ibocorrosion resist.nce t.at.could be explained by t.e higher proport.on of delt. ferrit. and ret.ined aust.nit. in t.eir microst.uct.re.
