Morphology Engineering for Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs) by Surfactant Mediation and Acid Adjustment

Two-dimensional covalent organic frameworks(COFs)with specific morphologies including nanofibers and nanoplates are highly desired in both nanoscience research and practical *** far,however,morphology engineering for COFs remains challenging because the mechanism underlying the morphology formation and evolution of COFs is not well ***,we propose a strategy of surfactant mediation coupled with acid adjustment to engineer the morphology of aβ-ketoenamine-linked COF,TpPa,during solvothermal *** surfactants function as stabilizers that can encapsulate monomers and prepolymers to create micelles,enabling the formation of fiber-like and plate-like morphologies of TpPa rather than irregularly shaped *** is also found that acetic acid is important in regulating such morphologies,as the amino groups inside the prepolymers can be precisely protonated by acid adjustment,leading to an inhibited ripening process for the creation of specific *** from the synergistic enhancement of surfactant mediation and acid adjustment,TpPa nanofibers with a diameter down to~20 nm along with a length of up to a few microns and TpPa nanoplates with a thickness of~18 nm are *** work sheds light on the mechanism underlying the morphology formation and evolution of TpPa,providing some guidance for exquisite control over the growth of COFs,which is of great significance for their practical applications.

Within the framework of the isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics model,we simulate^(129)Xe+^(119)Sn collisions in an incident energy range of 20 to 190MeV/nucleon and discuss the liquid-gas phase transition with density *** comparison,we also extract the effective Fisher parameter τ_(eff),multiplicity of intermediate-mass fragments(IMFs),and information *** is found that the Fisher parameter and maximum information entropy of collisions have peak values at E_(beam)=50-80 MeV/*** addition,the maximum multiplicity of IMFs has a plateau around 70 MeV/*** higher-order density moments in a larger central region of[-5,5]^(3) fm^(3) in the collision system,a maximum plateau also appears as function of beam energy at energies exceeding 70 MeV/*** observables,which are consistent with each other,indicate a liquid-gas phase transition around 70 MeV/nucleon for the^(129)Xe+^(119)Sn system.

The novel quaternized hydroxypropyl cellulose-g-poly(THF-co-epichlorohydrin)graft copolymers,HPC-g-QCP(THF-co-ECH),have been successfully synthesized to combine the properties from hydrophilic hard HPC biomacromolecular backbone and hydrophobic flexible polyether ***,the P(THF-co-ECH)living chains were synthesized by cationic ring-opening copolymerization of THF with ***,P(THF-co-ECH)living chains were grafted onto HPC backbone by reaction with-OH groups along HPC to produce HPC-g-P(THF-co-ECH)graft ***,the mentioned graft copolymers were quaternized by reaction with ternanyamine to generate functionalized HPC-g-QCP(THF-co-ECH).The HPC-g-QCP(THF-co-ECH)graft copolymers exhibited good antibacterial ability against *** or *** *** ibuprofen(IBU)-loaded microparticles of HPC-g-(QC)P(THF-co-ECH)graft copolymers were prepared by *** in vitro pH-responsive drug-release behavior of IBU reached up to 75%of drug-loaded at pH=*** quaternized graft copolymer was beneficial to solving the problems of a burst effect and fast release of HPC as drug carriers.

BACKGROUND The radial nerve(RN)splits into two main branches at the elbow:The superficial branch of RN(SBRN)and the deep branch of *** SBRN can be easily damaged in acute trauma due to its superficial *** SUMMARY A 55-year-old male patient injured his right wrist 10 mo ***,suturing and bandaging were performed in the emergency *** months after the scar had healed,he felt numbness and tingling in the dorsal surface of the thumb of the right *** the surgery of resection and SBRN anastomosis were *** pathological findings showed it as traumatic *** months after surgery,the patient felt numbness and tingling in the right dorsal surface of the thumb *** tenderness was marked in the operated *** indicated that the SBRN was adhered to the surrounding *** patient refused further surgical treatment and underwent ultrasound-guided needle release plus corticosteroid injection of the *** weeks later,the tenderness in the surgical area was reduced by 70%,the numbness in the dorsal surface of the thumb of the right hand was reduced by 40%and the nerve swelling evaluated by ultrasound was *** months passed,he did not feel any numbness or tingling sensation of his right *** is the first report of ultrasound-guided needle release plus corticosteroid injection of the *** Ultrasound can evaluate the condition of the RN,and the relationship with surrounding ***-guided needle release plus corticosteroid injection is an effective and safe treatment for SBRN adhesion.

Dirac semimetals(DSMs)are an important class of topological states of ***,focusing on DSMs of band inversion type,we investigate their boundary modes from the effective model *** show that in order to properly capture the boundary modes,k-cubic terms must be included in the effective model,which would drive an evolution of surface degeneracy manifold from a nodal line to a nodal *** k-cubic terms are also needed for better exposing the topological hinge modes in the *** first-principles calculations,we demonstrate that this feature and the topological hinge modes can be clearly exhibited inβ-*** extend the discussion to magnetic DSMs and show that the time-reversal symmetry breaking can gap out the surface bands and hence is beneficial for the experimental detection of hinge ***,we show that magnetic DSMs serve as a parent state for realizing multiple other higher-order topological phases,including higher-order Weyl-point/nodal-line semimetals and higher-order topological insulators.

Air floating transport is one of the key construction technologies of bucket *** influences of draft,water depth and bucket spacing on the motion response characteristics of tetrapod bucket foundation(TBF)during air-floating transportation were studied by models *** results showed that with the increase of draft,the natural periods of heave motion increased,while the maximum amplitudes of oscillating motion *** maximum amplitudes of heave motion decreased while pitch motion increased with the increasing of water depth;further,the period range of oscillating amplitude close to the maximum amplitude was expanded due to shallow water *** increasing bucket spacing,the maximum amplitudes of heave motion first increase and then decreased,whereas the maximum amplitudes of pitch motion ***,the favorable air-floating transportation performance can be achieved by choosing a larger bucket spacing under the condition of meeting the design requirements and reducing the draft under shallower water.

Designing catalysts with capable dual-active sites to drive catalytic hydrogen generation is necessary for the future hydrogen ***,the interfacial active sites consisting of Co and Co-C on Co-Co_(2)C@carbon heterostructure are designed through annealing and highpressure *** operating temperature during the high-pressure carbonization under a CO-reducing environment is responsible for the construction and regulation of Co-Co_(2)C@C *** optimal catalyst has a high turnover frequency(TOF) of33.1 min^(-1) and low activation energy(E_a) of27.3 kJ-mol^(-1) during the hydrolysis of NH_(3)BH_(3).The catalytic stability of Co-Co_(2)C@C has no dramatic deterioration even after 5 cyclic *** interfacial active sites and the carbon on the catalyst surface enhance hydrogen generation kinetics and catalytic *** construction of interfacial active sites in Co-Co_(2)C@C prompts the dissociation of reactants(NH_(3)BH_(3) and H_(2)O molecules),leading to an enhanced catalytic hydrogen generation from NH_(3)BH_(3) hydrolysis(Co activates NH_(3)BH_(3) and Co-C activates H_(2)O).The construction of hetero-structural catalysts provides theoretical direction for the rational design of advanced transition metal carbide materials in the field of energy catalysis and conversion.

The novel amphiphilic graft copolymers with hydrophilic hard polar hydroxypropyl cellulose(HPC)backbone and hydrophobic soft nonpolar polyisobutylene(PIB)branches have been successfully synthesized through nucleophilic substitution reaction of living PIB chains carrying oxonium ions with the-OH groups along HPC *** PIB branch length in the graft copolymers could be designed by living cationic polymerization and the grafting density could be adjusted by PIB+/-OH molar *** living PIB chains carrying oxonium ion were prepared by transformation of allyl bromide end groups in the presence of AgCI0_(4) and silver nanoparticles(3.2±0.3 nm,0.7 wt%-1.8 wt%)generated in situ from *** phase-separation morphology was formed in the graft copolymers due to their incompatibility between backbone and *** hydrophilicity on the surface of graft copolymer films could be turned to hydrophobicity by increasing grafting density or/and length of PIB *** soft PIB segments in graft copolymers provided an unique surface wa self-assembly for ant卜protein adsorption against bovine serum albumin.A small amount of Ag nanoparticles in the copolymers contributed to good antibacterial activities against Staphylococcus aureus or Escherichia coli.
