A family (X, B1), (X, B2), . . . , (X, Bq) of q STS(v)s is a λ-fold large set of STS(v) and denoted by LSTSλ(v) if every 3-subset of X is contained in exactly λ STS(v)s of the collection. It is indecomposable and denoted by IDLSTSλ(v) if there exists no LSTSλ (v) contained in the collection for any λ 1 and orders v ≡ 1, 3 (mod 6) do there exist IDLSTSλ(v)? In this paper, we use partitionable candelabra systems (PCSs) and holey λ-fold large set of STS(v) (HLSTSλ(v)) as auxiliary designs to establish a recursive construction for IDLSTSλ(v) and show that there exists an IDLSTSλ(v) for λ = 2, 3, 4 and v ≡ 1, 3 (mod 6).

We examine various direct and indirect constraints on the lepton-specific two-Higgs doublet model and discuss its phenomenology at colliders in the allowed parameter *** constraints we consider come from the precision electroweak data,the direct search for Higgs boson,the muon anomalous magnetic moment,as well as some theoretical consistency *** find that in the allowed parameter space the CP-odd Higgs boson A is rather light (m A < 30 GeV with 95% possibility),which is composed dominantly by the leptonic Higgs and decays dominantly into τ + τ;while the SM-like Higgs boson h (responsible largely for electroweak symmetry breaking) decays dominantly in the mode h → AA → 4τ with a large decay width,which will make the Higgs discovery more difficult at the ***,this scenario predicts rare Z decays Z → AAA and Z →τ + τA with their branching ratios ranging from 10-8 to 10-and 10-5 to 10-4 respectively,which may be accessible at the GigaZ option of the ILC.

In this paper, we investigate the quadratic approximation methods. After studying the basic idea of simplex methods, we construct several new search directions by combining the local information progressively obtained during the iterates of the algorithm to form new subspaces. And the quadratic model is solved in the new subspaces. The motivation is to use the information disclosed by the former steps to construct more promising directions. For most tested problems, the number of functions evaluations have been reduced obviously through our algorithms.

Function S-rbugh sets are defined by R-function equivalence class, which have dynamic characteristic. Function S-rough sets have dynamic characteristic, law characteristic and law-hiding characteristic. Function S-rough sets can generate f-hiding law and f-hiding law. By engrafting, crossing, and penetrating between the information security theory and function S-rough sets, the security hiding and the authentication of f-hiding law and f-hiding law are given respectively in this paper. The fusion and share between function S-rough sets and information security theory is a new research direction of the application of information law in information system.

Ubiquinone is an essential electron carrier in *** biosynthesis involves atleast nine reactions in Escherichia coli.3-octaprenyl-4-hydroxybenzoate decarboxylase (UbiD) is an importantenzyme on the pathway and deletion of the ubiD gene in *** gives rise to ubiquinone deficiency in vivo.A protein from Chlamydophila pneumoniae AR39 had significant similarity compared with protein UbiDfrom *** on this information,the protein-encoding gene was used to swap its counterpart ***,and gene expression in resultant strain DYC was confirmed by *** DYC grew usingsuccinate as carbon source and rescued ubiquinone content in vivo,while ubiD deletion strain DYD did *** suggest that the chlamydial protein exerts the function of UbiD.

Sliding Mode Control with Disturbance Observer for a Class of Nonlinear Systems

This paper is concerned with the stabilization problem for a class of nonlinear systems with disturbance. The disturbance model is unknown and the first derivative of disturbance is bounded. Firstly, a general disturbance observer is proposed to estimate disturbance approximatively. Secondly, since the bound of the disturbance observer error is unknown, an adaptive sliding mode controller is designed to guarantee that the state of system asymptotically converges to zero and the unknown bound can be adjusted by an adaptive law. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The mutated osteoprotegerin (OPG-372) gene was inserted into the baculovirus transfer vector pBacPAK8, and the recombinant plasmid was co-transfected with linearized Bm-BacPAK6 virus DNA into BmN cells, then homologous recombination occurred inside the cells. The recombinant virus BmNPV-OPG- 372 was screened and identified by Southern blotting. The recombinant human OPG-372 was expressed in cultured cells and the larvae of silkworm by inoculation of recombinant virus. The expression products were run on the SDS-PAGE and their immunoreactivities were determined by Western blotting. It was found that a 42 kD recombinant protein was expressed in BmN cells and a 46 kD one in larvae respectively. The bioactivi- ties of the recombinant proteins were determined by hypocalcemic effect assay in the mice. The results showed that the recombinant proteins had a significant hypocalcemic effect on mice sera.
