Acute calculous cholecystitis(ACC) is the most frequent complication of cholelithiasis and represents one-third of all surgical emergency hospital admissions, many aspects of the disease are still a matter of debate. Knowledge of the current evidence may allow the surgical team to develop practical bedside decision-making strategies, aiming at a less demanding procedure and lower frequency of complications. In this regard, recommendations on the diagnosis supported by specific criteria and severity scores are being implemented, to prioritize patients eligible for urgency surgery. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the best treatment for ACC and the procedure should ideally be performed within 72h. Early surgery is associated with better results in comparison to delayed surgery. In addition, when to suspect associated common bile duct stones and how to treat them when found are still debated. The antimicrobial agents are indicated for high-risk patients and especially in the presence of gallbladder necrosis. The use of broad-spectrum antibiotics and in some cases with antifungal agents is related to better prognosis. Moreover, an emerging strategy of not converting to open, a difficult laparoscopic cholecystectomy and performing a subtotal cholecystectomy is recommended by adept surgical teams. Some authors support the use of percutaneous cholecystostomy as an alternative emergency treatment for acute Cholecystitis for patients with severe comorbidities.

Thermal Annealing Characteristics of Detrital Zircon Fission Track Obtained from Natural Borehole Samples

Previous studies proposed thermal simulation experiment to investigate the annealing characteristics of fission tracks in igneous zircon ***,basic research about detrital zircon fission track was relatively *** study discussed the initial track length,annealing temperature and annealing model of zircon fission track by using the measured track lengths obtained from natural borehole samples in the sedimentary basins with different thermal *** results show that the initial track length of zircon fission track is 12.97 μ*** total annealing temperature(Ttotal) of zircon fission track derived from the evolutionary curve of the mean track lengths is approximately 400 ℃.The temperature ranges of 120-230 ℃ corresponds to the partial annealing zone(PAZ),and is lower than the range obtained through thermal annealing *** annealing model is modified based on the measured track *** addition,a functional formula about the mean track length,annealing temperature,and geological time is proposed,and the fitted values of track lengths consist with the measured track lengths in this *** properly understanding the initial track length and annealing behavior of zircon fission track can provide a significant guidance for the study of hydrocarbon accumulation in sedimentary basins.

Copper,an essential metal for the energy transition,is primarily obtained from chalcopyrite through hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical *** risks and harmful impacts of these processes pose significant concerns for environmental and human safety,highlighting the need for more efficient and eco-friendly hydrometallurgical *** review article emphasizes current pro-cesses such as oxidative leaching,bioleaching,and pressure leaching that have demonstrated efficiency in overcoming the complicated chalcopyrite *** leaching operates under benign conditions within the leaching media;nevertheless,the introduction of oxidizing agents provides benefits and ***,a non-aggressive method,has shown a gradual increase in copper extrac-tion efficiency and has been explored using both primary and secondary *** leaching,known for its effectiveness and se-lectivity in copper extraction,is becoming commercially more viable with increased research *** research also provides im-portant data for advancing future research in the field.

Inversion of the paleo-geothermal gradient using low-temperature thermochronology: A case study of the Haiyuan -Liupanshan region

The paleo-geothermal gradient is a crucial parameter for converting the thermal history to the exhumation history. However， the precise estimation of this parameter has been a challenge. This paper presents a simple two-step method to model the paleo-geothermal gradient using low-temperature thermochronology. (1) It uses the Monte Carlo approach to generate thermal histories in a vertical section randomly and calculates the entire thermal history within the goodness-of-fit thresholds based on different paleo-geothermal gradients. (2) It selects the optimum paleo-geothermal gradient by comparing the entire thermal history within different goodness-of-fit thresholds. We validated the method with apatite (U-Th)/He and fission track data collected from two drill cores in the Haiyuan-Liupanshan region. The result revealed that the best-fit paleo-geothermal gradient was ～42 ℃/km during the Early Cretaceous–Miocene and has decreased rapidly to 20 ℃/km since ～10 Ma. The crust thickening in the study area may explain the rapid reduction in the paleo-geothermal gradient since ～10 Ma. Our results are consistent with earlier studies in the region， suggesting that our simple and more intuitive approach provides an alternative method for paleo-geothermal gradient modeling.

Kinetic modeling of adsorption of vanadium and iron from acid solution through ion exchange resins

This study assessed the adsorption process and the reaction kinetics involved in the selective recovery of vanadium from an acid solution containing iron as an *** commercial resins were studied:Lewatit^(®)MonoPlus TP 209 XL,Lewatit^(®) TP 207,Dowex^(TM)M4195(chelating resin)and Lewatit^(®) MonoPlus S 200 H(strong cationic exchange resin).To investigate the effect of time on the adsorption process,batch experiments were carried out using the following initial conditions:pH 2.0,298 K,and a proportion of 1 g of resin to 50 mL of *** variation of pH over time was *** resin released less H+ions as the adsorption occurred,resulting in a lower drop of pH when compared to S 200 H *** adsorption by the resins was also evaluated through FT-IR and SEM−EDS before and after the *** the evaluated kinetic models(pseudo-first order,pseudo-second order,Elovich and intraparticle diffusion models),the pseudo-second order model best fits the experimental data of the adsorption of vanadium and iron by all of the four resins.M4195 resin showed the highest recovery of vanadium and the lowest adsorption of *** data,which are fundamental to industrial processes applications,are provided.

Productivity and Grazing Behavior of Ewes with Single or Twin Lambs Raised in Mixed Italian Ryegrass/White Clover Pasture in Southern Brazil

The aim of this study was to compare the area production and grazing behavior of single- and twin-rearing ewes kept on a mixed Italian ryegrass/white clover pasture. The herbage allowance was maintained at 12 kg DM/100kg live weight during the experiment, by continuous variable stocking management for 112 days (4 periods of 28 days). We measure the live weight gains, the area production and the body condition score of ewes and lambs. Animal behavior was observed on four occasions during which we evaluated whether the lambs were grazing near to or far from their mother. Live-weight output from the ewes and lambs, and net output (ewes and lambs) were calculated. Results showed that being irrespective of birth type, ewes had similar mean daily weight gains, although ewes with twin lambs presented a mean lower body condition score. Ewes live weight output/ha did not differ significantly among birth types, but twin lambs produced 98.2 kg (45%) more live weight gain/ha. Total net live-weight output (ewes + lambs) was 121.5 kg greater for twins than for singles. Ewes with twin lambs spent more time grazing and ruminating. Lambs increased the time they spent grazing in each successive period. Single lambs spent significantly longer time grazing within 12 m of their dams (near grazing). Analysis of far grazing times by the broken line method showed that growing lambs rapidly increase the time spent far grazing up to a live weight of 20.3 kg in both birth types, which occurs at 95.3 and 115.9 days of age for single and twins, respectively. The results indicate that twin lambs are more productive than singles, when evaluated per area unit of pasture.

Breast Milk Micronutrients in Lactating Mothers from Ribeirao Preto(SP),Brazil

Breast milk is the ideal food for infants and should be consumed as the exclusive food for the first six months and then be complemented up to two years of age. The aim of this study is to determine breast milk’s content of macro and micronutrient in lactating mothers from the Ribeir?o Preto (SP) region, in Brazil. A cross-sectional study was conducted with breast milk samples of 70 mothers from the city of Ribeir?o Preto (SP). The samples were analyzed in order to determine iron, copper, zinc, calcium and magnesium concentrations. They were analyzed by Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS). The study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the University Hospital, Faculty of Medicine of Ribeir?o Preto, University of S?o Paulo, and all subjects gave written informed consent to participate. The current study revealed that all 70 lactating mothers were healthy and delivered babies more than 38 weeks gestation;71.4% of them were younger than 30 years and 47.1% were primiparae. The iron, copper, zinc, calcium and magnesium concentrations detected in milk were 2.7 ± 0.4, 0.4 ± 0.02, 3.6 ± 0.2, 142 ± 21.6 and 39.8 ± 4.2 mg/L, respectively. Therefore, it can be concluded that in the present sample, except for calcium, all other mineral concentrations were adequate for the infant’s requirements according to the Dietary Reference Intake (DRI).

萨尔图卡希阿斯大坝是伊瓜苏河上最近开发的最大的水利枢纽,装机容量1240MW。该重力坝采用RCC工艺,碾压混凝土方量为945.600m3,包括水库从1998年10月开始的填充。文中简要介绍了该工程中运用的主要仪器。通过分析监测仪器采集得到的观测数据,获得重要的大坝性态信息。萨尔图卡希阿斯大坝已埋设了振弦式仪器,它可以通过自动化系统实时获取并处理监测数据。它是巴西第一座使用自动化系统的大坝。这些设备的改进可通过测量反馈进行。在结构监测中,测地技术的应用包括首先建立一个测量网点（称为控制点）,这样可以采用地形学和测地技术,来确定考察点的坐标（区域的虚拟连接）。利用不同时间观测到的坐标的变化,可以估计结构可能的位移。萨尔图卡希阿斯大坝上使用的测量技术包含三角测量、三边测量、统计分析、一等水准测量、重力测定和GPS测量等。目前,该工程正处在收集数据和构造数学模型阶段,模型的建立可用来调整监测网参考值（已经完成）以及确定待监测点的坐标。
