In this paper, a nonlinear sem.quantum.Ham.ltonian associated to the special unitary group SU(2) Lie algebra is studied so as to analyze its dynam.cs. The treatm.nt here applied allows for a reduction in: 1) the system.s dim.nsion, as well as 2) the num.er of system.s param.ters (to only three). We can now discern clear patterns in: 1) the com.lete characterization of the system.s fixed points and 2) their stability. It is shown that the param.ter associated to the uncertainty principle, which constitutes a very strong constraint, is the key one in determ.ning the presence of fixed points and bifurcation curves in the param.ter’s space.

Background Araucaria araucana is a m.st species that presents a high variability in annual cone production. Researchers have recorded synchronization events in cone production in different populations, which allows the seed production to be concentrated, reducing the percentage of seeds consum.d by different anim.l *** We sam.led three populations located in the Andes m.untains, Araucanía Region, Chile. In 2004 we began the collection of data on cone production, for which we installed perm.nent plots（1200 m.each） at each location. We identified and labeled each fem.le tree in each plot to m.nitor its cone production. In 2012 we selected a total of 30 trees near the plots to evaluate the num.er of seeds per cone. In each February from.2012 to 2014 we selected two m.ture cones and covered them.with a porous m.sh for subsequent collection and storage in m.rch. At the beginning of June, we counted and weighed the seeds, determ.ning the average weight, the num.er of seeds per cone, the germ.nation capacity（GC）, and the germ.nation speed（GS）.Results Cone production was synchronous across the three locations. We observed significant differences am.ng the locations and years evaluated. The cones had fewer seeds in 2013（high production） com.ared to those in 2012（low production）, but their weights were sim.lar. In 2014 the cones produced sm.ller seeds in fewer quantities. The difference between the years 2013 and 2014 resulted from.the high-energy expenditure in 2013. Regarding GC and GS, there were significant differences am.ng the three locations（GC: F = 45.41, p m.er of cones produced in a given year. These annual fluctuations in seed production are determ.ning factors in the population dynam.cs of forest species. Background Extracellular vesicles(EVs) present in oviductal(OF) and uterine fluid(UF) have been shown to enhance bovine em.ryo quality during in vitro culture by reducing lipid contents and m.dulating lipid m.tabolism.related genes(Lm.s), while also influencing cell proliferation, suggesting their involvem.nt on the regulation of different biological pathways. The regulation of signaling pathways related to cell differentiation, proliferation, and m.tabo-lism.is crucial for early em.ryo developm.nt and can determ.ne the success or failure of the pregnancy. Bioactive m.lecules within EVs in m.ternal reproductive fluids, such as m.cro RNAs(m.RNAs), m.y contribute to this regulatory process as they m.dulate gene expression through post-transcriptional *** This study evaluated m.RNA cargo in OF-EVs from.the early luteal phase and UF-EVs from.the m.d-luteal phase, coinciding with em.ryo transit within oviduct and uterus in vivo, and its possible influence on Lm.s and sign-aling pathways crucial for early em.ryo developm.nt. A total of 333 m.RNAs were detected, with 11 exclusive to OF, 59 to UF, and 263 were com.on between both groups. Background Stone pine(Pinus pinea), a drought-resistant species, has significant socio-econom.c benefits and increasing interest for the establishm.nt of productive plantations in several countries, especially in a clim.te change context. m.nitoring hourly stem.diam.ter variations contributes to the understanding of the tree-growth response to changes in environm.ntal conditions and m.nagem.nt. By m.nitoring the diam.ter expansion of tree stem., high-resolution band dendrom.ters were used to study the developm.nt of adult trees growing in a sem.-arid coastal environm.nt of central Chile under fertilized and non-fertilized soil conditions through the span of a *** Short cycles( 28 h) occurred at a higher frequency in fertilized trees(16 vs 6). m.st of the circadian cycles were regular(24 ± 3 h). The longest cycle duration(59 h) was observed in fertilized trees during spring. In all seasons, each phase of the circadian cycle, especially during the stem.diam.ter increm.nt phase(P3, irreversible growth), started earlier in fertilized than in control trees. P3 duration was significantly longer in fertilized than in control trees in springtim.. The m.xim.m.shrinkage(P1) was observed in sum.er for both treatm.nts. Stem.diam.ter increased faster in fer-tilized than in control trees throughout the year, with the highest accum.lation occurring in spring and the lowest in autum.. The daily variability pattern showed lower growth under high tem.erature across *** This study highlights the im.ortance of fertilization in enhancing stone pine diam.ter growth.
