objective To investigate the in vivo immunomodulatory and anti-tumor mechanisms of the combined treatment of novel Four-Herb formula(4HF)and doxorubicin in triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC).Methods Murine-derived triple-negative mammary carcinoma cell line,4T1 cells,was cultured and inoculated into mouse mammary ***-six mice were randomly assigned into 6 groups(n=11 in ench):naive,control,LD 4HF(low dose 4HF),HD 4HF(high dose 4HF),LD 4HF+D(low dose and doxorubicin),and D(doxorubicin).Apart from the naive group,each mouse received subcutaneous inoculation with 5×10^(5)4T1 cells resuspended in 100µL of normal saline in the mammary fat *** from the day of tumor cell inoculation,tumors were grown for 6 *** LD and HD groups received daily oral gavage of 658 and 2,630 mg/kg 4HF,*** LD 4HF+D group received daily oral gavage of 658 mg/kg 4HF and weekly intraperitoneal injection of doxorubicin(5 mg/kg).The D group received weekly intraperitoneal injections of doxorubicin(5 mg/kg).The treatment naive mice received daily oral gavage of 0.2 mL double distilled water and 0.1 mL normal saline via intraperitoneal injection once a *** control group received daily oral gavage of 0.2 mL double-distilled *** treatment period was 30 *** the end of treatment,mice organs were harvested to analyze immunological activities via immunophenotyping,gene and multiplex analysis,histological staining,and gut microbiota *** Mice treated with the combination of 4HF and doxorubicin resulted in significantly reduced tumor and spleen burdens(Poxia and overall immune lymphocyte landscape,and manipulated gut microbiota to favor the anti-tumor immunological ***,immunosuppressive genes,cytokines,and chemokines such as C-C motif chemokine 2 and interleukin-10 of tumors were significantly downregulated(Poxorubicin combination treatment demonstrated synergetic activities and was most effective

Vegetable oils are a source of energy, essential fatty acids, antioxidants and fat-soluble vitamins useful for human health care and development. These oils also contribute to organoleptic quality of their products’ derivatives. However, their chemical and physical properties can be modified by the mode of their extraction, storage and distribution. These modifications might negatively affect the nutritional quality of the oils. The goals of this study were to: sample different vegetable oils for cosmetic or dietary use marketed in Cameroon, and verify purity and oxidation states of each kind of oil through determination of its acidity, iodine, peroxide, saponification, refractive indexes and the conformity of the labeling. The carotene content, the level of polar components and specific absorbance were also determined. As the result, six oils namely palm, palm kernel, coconut, black cumin, peanut and shea butter were collected. Apart from labeling, chemicals and physicals parameters analyzed were generally in accordance with the Cameroonian and Codex Alimentarius standard. This study suggests that vegetable oils sampled in the Cameroonian market may not expose consumers to lipid oxidation products generating pathological oxidative stress and inflammation. However, efforts in application of existing standard need to be done as far as labeling are concerned.

This paper presents an original theoretical framework to model steel material properties in continuous casting line process. Specific properties arising from non-Newtonian dynamics are herein used to indicate the natural convergence of distributed parameter systems to fractional order transfer function models. Data driven identification from a real continuous casting line is used to identify model of the electromagnetic actuator device to control flow velocity of liquid steel. To ensure product specifications, a fractional order control is designed and validated on the system. A projection of the closed loop performance onto the quality assessment at end production line is also given in this paper.

A 15-year-Long catalog of seismicity in the Eastern Tennessee Seismic Zone(ETSZ)using matched filter detection

We present a detailed catalog of 13671 earthquakes in the Eastern Tennessee Seismic Zone(ETSZ)that spans January 1,2005 to July 31,*** apply a matched filter detection technique on over 15 years of continuous data,resulting in arguably the most complete catalog of seismicity in the ETSZ *** magnitudes of newly detected events are determined by computing the amplitude ratio between the detections and templates using a principal component *** also compute the b-value for the new catalog and comparatively relocate a subset of newly detected events using XCoRLoC and hypoDD,which shows a more defined structure at *** find the greatest concentration along and to the east of the New York-Alabama Lineament,as defined by the magnetic anomaly,supporting the argument that this feature likely is related to the generation of seismicity in the *** examine seismicity in the vicinity of the Watts Bar Reservoir,which is located about 5 km from the epicenter of the M_(W) 4.4 December 12,2018 Decatur,Tennessee earthquake,and find possible evidence for reservoir modulated seismicity in this *** also examine seismicity in the entire ETSZ to search for a correlation between shallow earthquakes and seasonal hydrologic *** results show limited evidence for hydrologicallydriven shallow seismicity due to seasonal groundwater levels in the ETSZ,which contradicts previous studies hypothesizing that most intraplate earthquakes are associated with the dynamics of hydrologic cycles.

BACKGRoUND Maintenance rates of exclusive breastfeeding(EBF)worldwide are low,thus,one of the objectives of the summary of policies on breastfeeding(BF)in world nutrition goals for 2025 are that at least 50%of infants under six months of age receive EBF that *** objective of this study is to document the rates of EBF in children born in San Ignacio University Hospital(HUSI)and identify factors associated with *** To document the percentages of EBF in those that were born at HUSI and identify factors associated to their *** This is a study of cases and controls in an analytic,retrospective cohort that took children born alive between January 2016 and January 2019 at HUSI located in the city of Bogotá,*** Receiving information about BF at HUSI was able to maintain EBF up until 4 mo(oR=1.65;95%CI:1.02-2.66).The presence of gynecologic and obstetric comorbidities(oR=0.32;95%CI:0.12-0.83),having mastitis(oR=0.56;95%CI:0.33-0.94),and receiving information from mass media(oR=0.52;95%CI:0.31-0.84)are factors associated with not maintaining *** Receiving education at a Women-and Child-Friendly Institution was the only significant factor to achieve EBF until 4 mo,with a frequency greater than the one reported in the country,which matches multiple studies where counseling and individualized support on BF achieve this *** about BF and early detection of obstetric/gynecologic complications must be strengthened among the healthcare staff in charge of mothers during ***,strategies must be promoted to continue BF such as creating milk banks with the objective of increasing BF rates even when mothers return to work.

Necrosis zone depth after bipolar plasma vaporization and resection in the human prostate

objectives:To compare the depth of thermal necrosis after use of bipolar resection and vaporization technique comparing intra-individually bipolar loop and bipolar button ***:Transurethral resection and vaporization of the prostate was performed in 55 male patients(260 specimens in total).In a standardized procedure,a bipolar resection loop was used for resection,and a bipolar button electrode was used for *** electrodes were applied in each patient,either in the left or in the right lateral *** depth of necrotic zones in the resected or vaporized tissue of each patient was measured in a standardized way by light ***:The mean depth with standard deviation of thermal injury caused by the loop electrode was 0.0495±0.0274 *** vaporization electrode caused a mean thermal depth with standard deviation of 0.0477±0.0276 *** mean difference of necrosis zone depths between the two types of electrodes(PlasmaButtoneresection loop)was 0.0018 mm(p=0.691).Conclusion:For the first time,we present directly measured values of the absolute necrosis zone depth after application of plasma in the transurethral treatment of benign prostatic *** measured values were lower than in all other transurethral *** procedures of measurement and evaluation allow a statistically significant statement that the low necrosis depth in bipolar procedures is independent of the applied electrodes.

A species-transport model for circulation in a leading-edge vortex

In this study,we propose a model to predict circulation growth along the span of a rotating wing,in which circulation transport is represented as species *** particles entering the vortex shear layer at the leading edge are initialized as vorticity-containing mass and are advected by the flow along the span.A circulation budget is presented,consisting of a generation and transport term,the latter derived from the vorticity transport equation,which leaves only two unknowns for the modeller to determine:the shear-layer thickness and the spanwise flow *** find that the model is insensitive to the value chosen for the shear-layer thickness,as varying the thickness by an order of magnitude only changes the output by a few ***,we use Bernoulli equation in a rotating coordinates system as a basic model for spanwise *** verify the accuracy of the model,the predicted circulation values are compared against experimental circulation values and show good agreement to measurements close to the axis of rotation,which corresponds to the spanwise locations at which the spanwise flow model best matches experimental *** is suggested,therefore,that this model produces accurate results subject to an appropriate spanwise flow model.
