Background: Gut-resident macrophages (gMacs) supplemented by monocytes-to-gMacs differentiation play a critical role in maintaining intestinal homeostasis. Activating transcription factor 4 (ATF4) is involved in immune cell differentiation. We therefore set out to investigate the role of ATF4-regulated monocytes-to-gMacs differentiation in sepsis-induced intestinal ***: Sepsis was induced in C57BL/6 wild type (WT) mice andAtf4-knockdown (Atf4+/-) mice by cecal ligation and puncture or administration of lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Colon, peripheral blood mononuclear cells, sera, lung, liver, and mesenteric lymph nodes were collected for flow cytometry, hematoxylin and eosin staining, immunohistochemistry, quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, ***: CD64, CD11b, Ly6C, major histocompatibility complex-II (MHC-II), CX3CR1, Ly6G, and SSC were identified as optimal primary markers for detecting the process of monocytes-to-gMacs differentiation in the colon of WT mice. Monocytes-to-gMacs differentiation was impaired in the colon during sepsis and was associated with decreased expression of ATF4 in P1 (Ly6Chi monocytes), the precursor cells of ***4 knockdown exacerbated the impairment of monocytes-to-gMacs differentiation in response to LPS, resulting in a significant reduction of gMacs in the colon. Furthermore, compared with WT mice,Atf4+/- mice exhibited higher pathology scores, increased expression of inflammatory factor genes (TNF-α, IL-1β), suppressed expression of CD31 and vascular endothelial-cadherin in the colon, and increased translocation of intestinal bacteria to lymph nodes and lungs following exposure to LPS. Glacial-interglacial cycles recorded in clay minerals from the eastern Tibetan Plateau over the last 800 ka and their indications

Clay mineral proxies have been widely used to reconstruct changes in provenance and the ***,high-altitude clay mineral indications and long-term and orbital variations have not been fully ***,we present an800-ka clay-mineral record from a lacustrine sediment core(ZB13-C2)from the Zoige Basin on the eastern Tibetan Plateau(TP).X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy were used to identify the clay mineral assemblages and their micromorphological characteristics of core *** results revealed that the clay minerals in core ZB13-C2 are mainly illite,with small amounts of chlorite,kaolinite,and smectite(including irregular mixed-layers of illite-smectite(I/S)and chloritesmectite(C/S)).The clay mineral assemblages and proxies exhibit three stages of change,which are mainly controlled by the Zoige watershed range under different climate *** watershed was limited to the southeastern region with altitudes ranging from~3500 to~4200 meters above sea level(m a.s.l.),and glacial-interglacial hydraulic erosion controlled the input of bedrock debris during 800-621 ka *** expanded to higher altitudes(~4200 to~4700 m a.s.l.)due to stronger seasonal freezethaw weathering without significant glacial-interglacial variations under a cooling and drying climate during 621-100 ka ***,it expanded to its highest altitudes of~4700 to~5200 m *** of the watershed after 100 ka BP,and hydraulic erosion increased obviously under a warm climate of the interstadial MIS 3 on the *** watershed underwent two major expansions under different climatic conditions at~621 ka and 100 ka BP,with the wet/dry alternation became strong at~621 ka *** results reveal that long-term temperature changes and the wet/dry alternation at high altitudes controlled the watershed range and degree of the physical erosion,and that the indications of clay minerals should be carefully clarified before they are used as climate indicators,especi

The crystal growth of hydroxyapatite (HAP) seeds in presence of the abnormal collagen secreted by the chondrocyte grown in media containing free radical sources or fulvic acid and the type II collagen (pig cartilage) damaged by · OH and fulvic acid(FA) from potable water in endemic region of Kaschin-Beck disease (KBD) was studied. The results showed that in the former case, the abnormal collagen rich in type I collagen promoted mineralization in contrast with the type n collagen. The oxidatively damaged type II collagen became less inhibitive or even promotive. In all cases, the reaction followed a second order kinetics. The powder X-diffraction analysis and SEM observation indicated that the damaged type II collagen lowers the crystalinity in the beginning and made the final crystal more agglomerated. All the results showed that the abnormal and the damaged cartilage matrix affected the bimineralization and was likely to have played an important role in the development of KBD.

To make full use of plant shellﬁbers(rice husk,walnut shell,chestnut shell),three kinds of wood-plastic com-posites of plant shellﬁbers and polyvinyl chloride(PVC)were prepared.X-ray diffraction analysis was carried out on three kinds of plant shellﬁbers to test their *** aging process of the composites was conducted under 2 different *** was artiﬁcial seawater immersion and xenon lamp irradiation,and the other one was deionized water spray and xenon lamp *** mechanical properties(tensile strength,ﬂexural strength,impact strength),changes in color,water absorption,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),and microstructures of the composites before and after the two aging experiments were *** results showed that the chestnut shell had the highest crystallinity,which was 42%.The chestnut shell/PVC composites had the strongest interface bonding,the least internal defects,and the best general mechanical properties among the three *** tensile strength,bending strength and impact strength were 23.81 MPa,34.12 MPa,and 4.32 KJ·m^(-2),*** the two aging conditions,artiﬁcial seawater immersion and xenon lamp irradiation destroyed the quality of the combination of plant shellﬁbers and PVC,making the internal defects of the composites *** made the water absorption ability and changes in the color of the composites more obvious and led to a great decrease in the mechanical *** general mechanical properties of the chestnut shell/PVC composites were the best,but their water absorption ability changed more obviously.

Based on the scale function representation for a function in L2(R), a new wavelet transform based adaptive system identification scheme is proposed. It can reduce the amount of computation by exploiting the decimation properties and keep the advantage of quasi-orthogonal transform of the discrete wavelet, transform (DWT). The issue has been supported by computer simulations.

针对航空发动机的关键部件之一———燃烧室薄壁机匣建立了激光焊接的数值分析模型.基于SYSWELD软件的焊接分析功能,运用有限元分析方法研究了燃烧室薄壁机匣环缝焊接时引起的焊接变形,模拟了薄壁机匣激光焊接时的温度场、应力场以及变形情况,同时对焊接模拟中的热源问题从数学上进行了分析和探讨.在此基础上结合整个薄壁机匣的实际工作状况对模拟结果进行了定性分析,验证了分析方法的可行性,为实际薄壁机匣焊接提供了理论依据,有助于薄壁机匣焊接工艺方法的改进.该分析方法对焊接领域类似问题的处理也有借鉴意义.

工业生产线的智能装配技术是提高生产线工作效率,保证产品统一性的关键手段。日趋复杂的工业产品结构对智能装配控制精度的要求也越来越高,其中,基于实时在线测量的反馈校正技术成为了研究热点。为了实现工业生产线智能装配过程的柔性测量,提出了基于光纤传感的反馈式装配控制方法。该系统采用多FBG传感器获取装配结构实时应变,由不同封装FBG传感器完成温度应变解耦。最终通过神经网络学习的方式完成对位置偏移程度进行换算,实现装配位置实时校正。采用Matlab对螺钉结构装配过程进行仿真,模拟了不同长度和施力大小的螺钉应力分布,结果显示螺钉长度越长,相同作用力下应变越大。并且螺钉的主要应变集中在螺孔边缘位置。实验分别采用悬臂梁应变标定实验获取不同封装状态的拟合曲线,采用温度标定实验消除应变测试数据中的温漂效应,采用位置偏移实验获取校正参数。结果显示,对于长度为15.0 mm的螺钉,系统平均解算精度约为0.0123 mm/N,对于长度为20.0 mm的螺钉,系统平均解算精度约为0.0221 mm/N,并且具有很好的线性度。
