The contact resistance between the armature and rails is an important indicator of the contact characteristics in electromagnetic launches.As the contact resistance depends not only on the contact state but also on the contact stress and temperature,there are some limitations in analyzing the contact characteristics using only the contact resistance.In this paper,the contact characteristics of the augmented railgun are analyzed by the combination of contact resistance and sliding friction coefficient.Firstly,the theoretical calculation model of the contact resistance and friction coefficient of the augmented electromagnetic railgun is established.Then the contact resistance and friction coefficient are calculated by the measured values of the muzzle voltage,rail current and armature displacement.Finally,the contact characteristics are analyzed according to the features of the waveforms of the contact resistance and the friction coefficient,and the analysis conclusions are verified by experimental rail images.The results showed that:the aluminum melt film gradually formed on the contact surface reduces the contact resistance and the friction coefficient;the wear and erosion of the armature cause deterioration of the contact state;after the transition,the reliability of the sliding contact between the armature and rails decreases,resulting in an increase in contact resistance.

Alloy-type materials with the characteristics of high theoretical capacity,low sodiation/desodiation potential,and good conductivity are considered as one of the most promising anodes for sodium-ion batteries or capacitors.However,the large volume change during the sodiation leads to poor cyclability and slow kinetics,thus presenting the main issue impeding the practical application.Herein,we propose a facile wet chemistry and pyrolysis method to synthesize Sb-carbon composite that Sb nanoparticles or single atoms are confined and/or dispersed in the wrinkled carbon framework with high nitrogen content.This unique architecture of Sb-carbon composite increases atomic interface contact/interaction with Na~+,facilitating ion diffusion and alleviating the volume change of Sb during the charge/discharge process.Half-cell test shows that Sb-carbon composite exhibits a high-rate capability and stable cycling life.Furthermore,sodium-ion capacitors fabricated by employing Sb-carbon composite as anode and home-made active carbon as cathode,deliver both high-energy density of 157 Wh·kg^(-1)and high-power density of 25 kW·kg^(-1)as well as excellent cycling performance exceeding 4000 cycles.

Holmium laser lithotripsy(HLL)is one of the common surgical methods for urolithiasis.It causes minor surgical trauma,but complications are not rare.Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)treatment of sepsis is common,but venoarterial(VA)-ECMO treatment of urosepsis has not been reported yet.In this article,we reported a 67-year-old female patient with refractory septic shock caused by HLL under percutaneous nephroscope,involving breathing,heart,kidney and other organs,and organs support treatment was ineffective for the patient.Finally,we successfully treated the patient under VA-ECMO with continuous renal replacement therapy(CRRT).Combined ECMO and CRRT may provide a solution for addressing refractory sepsis.Here we present the case and review relevant literature,so as to provide a treatment strategy for patients with refractory urogenic sepsis and to reduce the mortality rate.

Objective To increase the solubility and relieve the mucous irritation of cantharidin (CA) by preparing cantharidin-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (CA/HP-β-CD) inclusion complex. Methods The inclusion complex was prepared by co-evaporation method and characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffractometry (XRD), and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Results The disappearance of CA as well as the shift of exothermic peaks shown in DSC results indicated the complexation phenomenon. XRD results showed that the crystalline CA pattern had disappeared, and in NMR results, H-5 shifted from δ 3.731 to 3.695 after complexation and H-2 shifted from δ 3.626 to 3.598, which suggested that part of the drug had entered the HP-β-CD cavity to form an inclusion complex. The solubility increased 10.3 times after complexation and the mucous irritation of CA was relieved remarkably. Conclusion Through complexation with HP-β-CD, the solubility and dissolution rate of CA are improved significantly, and the irritation of musous is relieved.

Objective: Pueraria total flavonids(PTF) can treat cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, but it has poor membrane permeability and oral bioavailability. Some excipients, such as carbomer, chitosan, and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, can improve the oral bioavailability. Traditional in vitro evaluation techniques, including the rat intestinal perfusion and cell line models, cannot evaluate PTF absorption and holistic transporters.Methods: This study evaluated excipients' adhesiveness and effect on PTF transport across Caco-2 cell monolayer. cDNA microarrays identified gene expression changes in Caco-2 cells exposed to PTF and PTF with excipients, and revealed the mechanism underlying the effect of excipients on PTF absorption.Results: In vitro adhesion and transport experiments across Caco-2 showed that excipients had higher adhesiveness to gastric mucosa and transport efficiency across Caco-2 cells than PTF alone. The interaction of PTF with excipients significantly changed the expression of some genes, which might influence the absorption rate of PTF.Conclusion: Different bioadhesive polymers can improve intestinal absorption of PTF, which was related to some genes affiliated to the ATP-binding cassette(ABC) and solute carrier transporter(SLC) to some extent.

Polymerization-induced self-assembly(PISA)combines synthesis and self-assembly of artificial polymers in one-pot,which brings us one step closer to emulating biosynthesis.However,the reported PISA formulations primarily focus on developing nano-objects with new chemical compositions and rarely on structural regulation of polymers with specific components.Herein,sequence structure controllable polymerization-induced self-assembly(SCPISA)is reported by using 7-(2-methacryloyloxyethoxy)-4-methylcoumarin(CMA)as a monomer.During the copolymerization of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate(HEMA)and CMA,controlled incorporation of CMA units into the polymer chains can be realized by programmable light/heat changes.SCPISA-based P(HEMA-co-CMA)copolymers with the same composition but different sequence structures generate a range of assemblies.Moreover,the morphologies of the resultant nano-objects can also be controlled by regulating the feed molar ratio of CMA and HEMA,which is similar to the conventional PISA,but the synthesis procedure is obviously simplified in SCPISA.The versatility of the methodology is further demonstrated by the fabrication of different functional nano-objects with sequence structure-dependent morphologies in SCPISA systems with different functional monomers.

Fabrication of porous adsorbents from eco-friendly aqueous foam for high-efficient removal of cationic dyes and sustainable utilization assessment

Porous materials applied in environmental remediation have received researchers'extensive attention recently,but the related green and convenient preparation method is rarely reported.Here,we recommended a green and convenient strategy for the fabrication of porous material via aqueous foam templates,which was synergistically stabilized by Codonopsis pilosula(CP)and clay minerals of attapulgite(APT).The characterization results revealed that the APT was modified by organic molecules leached from CP and anchored at the air-water interface,which improved the foam stability significantly.The novel porous material of polyacrylamide/Codonopsis pilosula/attapulgite(PAM/CP/APT)templated from the aqueous foam via a polymerization reaction had excellent adsorption capacity for the cationic dyes methyl violet(MV)and methylene blue(MB),and the adsorption capacity can reach 755.85 mg/g and557.64 mg/g,respectively.More importantly,the adsorption capacity of spent adsorbent material was still over 200 mg/g after being recycled five times through a simple carbonization process,and then it was added to the plant pot,the total biomass was increased by about86.42%.This study provided a green and sustainable pathway for the preparation,application and subsequent processing of porous materials.

Crystalline white organic light-emitting diodes(C-WOLEDs)are promising candidates for lighting and display applications.It is urgently necessary,however,to develop energy-saving and high-efficiency C-WOLEDs that have stable and powerful emission to meet commercial demands.Here,we report a crystalline host matrix(CHM)with embedded nanoaggregates(NA)structure for developing high-performance C-WOLEDs by employing a thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)material and orange phosphorescent dopants(Phos.-D).The CHM-TADFNA-D WOLED exhibit a remarkable EQE of 12.8%,which is the highest performance WOLEDs based on crystalline materials.The device has a quick formation of excitons and a well-designed energy transfer process,and possesses a fast ramping of luminance and current density.Compared to recently reported high-performance WOLEDs based on amorphous material route,the C-WOLED achieves a low series-resistance Joule-heat loss ratio and an enhanced photon output,demonstrating its significant potential in developing the next-generation WOLEDs.

Covalent organic frameworks(COFs),a rapidly developing category of crystalline conjugated organic polymers,possess highly ordered structures,large specific surface areas,stable chemical properties,and tunable pore microenvironments.Since the first report of boroxine/boronate ester-linked COFs in 2005,COFs have rapidly gained popularity,showing important application prospects in various fields,such as sensing,catalysis,separation,and energy storage.Among them,COFs-based electrochemical(EC)sensors with upgraded analytical performance are arousing extensive interest.In this review,therefore,we summarize the basic properties and the general synthesis methods of COFs used in the field of electroanalytical chemistry,with special emphasis on their usages in the fabrication of chemical sensors,ions sensors,immunosensors,and aptasensors.Notably,the emerged COFs in the electrochemiluminescence(ECL)realm are thoroughly covered along with their preliminary applications.Additionally,final conclusions on state-of-the-art COFs are provided in terms of EC and ECL sensors,as well as challenges and prospects for extending and improving the research and applications of COFs in electroanalytical chemistry.

The crystallization behavior of poly（ethylene adipate）（PEA） on highly oriented high-density polyethylene （PE） substrate both from solution and isotropic melt was studied by means of optical microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, atomic force microscopy and electron diffraction. The results show that the PE influences the crystallization of PEA strongly, which results in an epitaxial growth of PEA with well ordered structure. At the boundary of the PE substrate, a transcrystalline PEA layer is observed. Fine structural observation illustrates that the PEA grows on the PE substrate in edge- on lamellae with fixed orientation. Electron diffraction demonstrates that the epitaxial organization of PEA on PE occurs with both polymer chains parallel, which leads to the （00l） PEA diffractions inclined ±23.5° to the chain direction of PE crystals. Combining the real space morphological observation and electron diffraction results, it is concluded that the epitaxial PEA edge-on lamellae are folded in the {00l} lattice planes.
