Experimental Investigation of the Resistance Performance and Heave and Pitch Motions of Ice-Going Container Ship Under Pack Ice Conditions

In order to analyze the ice-going ship’s performance under the pack ice conditions, synthetic ice was introduced into a towing tank. A barrier using floating cylinder in the towing tank was designed to carry out the resistance experiment. The test results indicated that the encountering frequency between the ship model and the pack ice shifts towards a high-velocity point as the concentration of the pack ice increases, and this encountering frequency creates an unstable region of the resistance, and the unstable region shifts to the higher speed with the increasing concentration. The results also showed that for the same speed points, the ratio of the pack ice resistance to the open water resistance increases with the increasing concentration, and for the same concentrations, this ratio decreases as the speed increases. Motion characteristics showed that the mean value of the heave motion increases as the speed increases, and the pitch motion tends to increase with the increasing speed. In addition, the total resistance of the fullscale was predicted.

Bacteria symbionts in herbivores play an important role in host biology and ecology,and are affected by environmental factors such as temperature,diet,habitat,antibiotics and so ***,the effects of antibiotics on the microbiome of the small brown planthopper Laodelphax striatellus(SBPH)remain ***,we studied the effects of tetracycline on the diversity and composition of bacterial colonies in different tissues of SBPH using high throughput sequencing of 16S ribosomal RNA *** results show that Proteobacteria,Firmicutes,Bacteroidetes,Actinobacteria were most abundant in SBPH,and the genera Asaia and Wolbachia were most abundant in all body parts of *** treatment had persistent effects on the composition of the SBPH *** depleted the population of Firmicutes,Bacteroidetes,Tenericutes and Fusobacteria,and nearly 100%eliminated Wolbachia,Bacteroides and Abiotrophia in ***,these results suggest that antibiotic exposure affects the bacteria symbionts of different body parts in SBPH and will facilitate future studies of the bacterial symbionts of arthropod hosts.

High energy consumption has seriously hindered the development of Fenton-like reactions for the removal of refractory organic pollutants in *** solve this problem,we designed a novel Fenton-like catalyst(Cu-PAN3)by coprecipitation and carbon thermal *** catalyst exhibits excellent Fenton-like catalytic activity and stability for the degradation of various pollutants with low H_(2)O_(2)*** experimental results indicate that the dual reaction centers(DRCs)are composed of Cu-N-C and Cu-O-C bridges between copper and graphene-like carbon,which form electron-poor/rich centers on the catalyst surface.H_(2)O_(2)is mainly reduced at electron-rich Cu centers to free radicals for pollutant ***,pollutants can be oxidized by donating electrons to the electron-poor C centers of the catalyst,which inhibits the ineffective decomposition of H_(2)O_(2)at the electron-poor *** therefore significantly reduces the consumption of H_(2)O_(2)and reduces energy consumption.

Due to increasingly stringent fuel consumption and emission regulation,improving thermal efficiency and reducing particulate matter emissions are two main issues for next generation gasoline *** burn mode could greatly reduce pumping loss and decrease the fuel consumption of gasoline engines,although the burning rate is decreased by higher diluted intake *** this study,dual injection stratified combustion mode is used to accelerate the burning rate of lean burn by increasing the fuel concentration near the spark *** effects of engine control parameters such as the excess air coefficient(Lambda),direct injection(DI)ratio,spark interval with DI,and DI timing on combustion,fuel consumption,gaseous emissions,and particulate emissions of a dual injection gasoline engine are *** is shown that the lean burn limit can be extended to Lambda=1.8 with a low compression ratio of 10,while the fuel consumption can be obviously improved at Lambda=*** exists a spark window for dual injection stratified lean burn mode,in which the spark timing has a weak effect on *** optimization of the control parameters,the brake specific fuel consumption(BSFC)decreases 9.05%more than that of original stoichiometric combustion with DI as 2 bar brake mean effective pressure(BMEP)at a 2000 r/min engine *** NO_(x) emissions before threeway catalyst(TWC)are 71.31%lower than that of the original engine while the particle number(PN)is 81.45%lower than the original *** dual injection stratified lean burn has a wide range of applications which can effectively reduce fuel consumption and particulate *** BSFC reduction rate is higher than 5%and the PN reduction rate is more than 50%with the speed lower than 2400 r/min and the load lower than 5 bar.

Nickel oxide(NiO_(x))has been established as a highly efficient and stable holetransporting layer(HTL)in perovskite solar cells(PSCs).However,existing deposition methods for NiO_(x)have been restricted by high-vacuum processes and fail to address the energy level mismatch at the NiO_(x)/perovskite interface,which has impeded the development of ***,we explored the application of NiO_(x)as a hybrid HTL through a sol-gel process,where a NiO_(x)film was pre-doped with Ag ions,forming a p/p^(+)homojunction in the NiO_(x)-based inverted *** innovative approach offers two synergistic advantages,including the enlargement of the built-in electric field for facilitating charge separation,optimizing energy level alignment,and charge transfer efficiency at the interface between the perovskite and *** this hybrid HTL featuring the p/p^(+)homojunction in the inverted PSCs resulted in a high-power conversion efficiency(PCE)of up to 19.25%,significantly narrowing the efficiency gap compared to traditional n-i-p ***,this innovative strategy for the HTL enhanced the environmental stability to 30 days,maintaining 90%of the initial efficiency.

The macromolecular architecture is the crucial factor in determining the arrangement of the ordering structures,which,because of the multiscale feature,may exhibit distinct melting behaviors and induce the so-called memory effect to affect the following *** present,the correlation between the occurrence of memory effect and the intrinsic molecular structure is still far from the comprehensive *** this work,four kinds of 1-butene/α-olefin random copolymers were designed and synthesized using the(pyridyl-amino)hafnium catalyst to introduce the different *** branch length was precisely controlled by the specific α-olefin comonomers,which include 1-hexene,1-decene,1-tetradecene,and 1-octadecene,while the branch density was tuned by the *** expected,the incorporation of α-olefin co-units to poly(1-butene)backbone decreases the non-isothermal crystallization kinetics and the degree of *** interestingly,the resulting linear branch can induce the occurrence of memory effect and the threshold concentration of co-units(i.e.,branch density)decreases with increasing the branch *** on the results of these 1-butene/α-olefin copolymers with designable branches,a direct correlation with the occurrence of memory effect and the fraction of amorphous region was established,which quantitatively indicates the degree of local segregation of the crystallized poly(1-butene)sequences by theα-olefin co-units.

On the basis of expert questionnaire and the relevant specification,multi-factors influencing weight matrix was constructed by Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)improved in transfer matrix algorithm,and influential factors were fuzzy classified to construct the fuzzy evaluation matrix by using trapezoidal fuzzy membership *** evaluation analysis was carried out through multistage fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,and verified in combination with engineering construction condition of shallow buried tunnel with large span of Zhongshan Park Station in Qingdao Metro,and four kinds of risk control schemes were established and compared on the analysis of tunnel construction *** show that the model was feasible and the improved construction scheme was very effective to reduce the construction risk.

Soil exchangeable sodium percentage (ESP) and sodium adsorption ratio (SAR) are commonly used to assess soil *** between ESP and SAR of saturated pasted extract (SAR e) or of 1:5 (m:m) mixture soil to water (SAR 1:5) has been documented to predict ESP from *** limited studies have been undertaken to model soil ESP based on soil SAR in the Songnen Plain,Northeast *** this study,117 soil samples were used to predict ESP from SAR e and SAR 1:5 of salt-affected soils in western Songnen *** ESP was highly related (r 2 > 0.76,P ngnen Plain could be predicted using a logarithmic regression equations of ESP=10.72 · ln(SAR e) 15.36 and ESP=11.44 · ln(SAR 1:5) + 5.48.

In the process of complex product design,modeling in different fields and different disciplines is often *** often face many different development kits,platforms,and theories,among which significant differences *** in the process of algorithm-hardware implementation,it is necessary to have mastery of the knowledge including algorithm,hardware,circuit,and system *** this paper,a modeling method of algorithm-hardware based on SysML is proposed to reduce the difficulty of algorithm-hardware *** using the method,the designers who do not know the knowledge of hardware can also easily build the algorithm-hardware *** this method,a method of graphical system modeling based on SysML is used,where the elements of the algorithm-hardware model are described by SysML graphical ***,the SysML graphical models are converted to Very-High-Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description *** last,a detecting algorithm of random number is complemented by the modeling method in this paper and the simulation results are presented at the conclusion.
