The basic premise of high yield in rice is to improve leaf photosynthetic efficiency and coordinate the sourcesink relationship in rice plants. Quantitative trait loci （QTLs） related to morphological traits and chlorophyll content of rice leaves were detected at the stages of heading to maturity, and a major QTL （qLSCHL4） related to flag leaf shape and chlorophyll content was detected at both stages in recombinant inbred lines constructed using the indica rice cultivar 93-11 and the japonica rice cultivar Nipponbare. Map-based cloning and expression analysis showed that LSCHL4 is allelic to NAL1, a gene previously reported in narrow leaf mutant of rice. Overexpression lines transformed with vector carrying LSCHL4 from Nipponbare and a near-isogenic line of 93-11 （NIL-9311） had significantly increased leaf chlorophyll content, enlarged flag leaf size, and improved panicle type. The average yield of NIL-9311 was 18.70% higher than that of 93-11. These results indicate that LSCHL4 had a pleiotropic function. Exploring and pyramiding more high-yield alleles resem- bling LSCHL4 for super rice breeding provides an effective way to achieve new breakthroughs in raising rice yield and generate new ideas for solving the problem of global food safety.

左氧氟沙星经胃转运、分布特点的研究

目的初步探讨左氧氟沙星在大鼠胃内转运、分布特点。方法Wistar大鼠80只随机分为左氧氟沙星50、100g·k^-1组。静脉给药后2h内按15min间隔取血处死动物，收集不同时点胃液、胃黏膜样本，检测左氧氟沙星浓度。结果比较2组不同时点各部位药物浓度发现，给药后45～60min起，胃液药物浓度逐渐高于血药浓度，不同时间点胃体、胃窦药物浓度均高于血药浓度及前胃药物浓度，但胃体和胃窦药物浓度无差异；给药后60～75min起，胃液（药物浓度／血药浓度）％高于胃体、胃窦（药物浓度／血药浓度）％，不同时间点胃液、胃体、胃窦（药物浓度／血药浓度）％均高于前胃（药物浓度／血药浓度）％，但胃体和胃窦（药物浓度／血药浓度）％无差异。左氧氟沙星50、100mg·kg^-1组胃内转运分数分别为2．36、2．52。结论①在大鼠体内，随给药时间延长胃液左氧氟沙星浓度高于血药浓度，提示左氧氟沙星胃内可能存在主动转运过程。②大鼠胃窦、胃体左氧氟沙星药物分布无差异。

Objective Several COVID-19 patients have overlapping comorbidities. The independent role of each component contributing to the risk of COVID-19 is unknown, and how some non-cardiometabolic comorbidities affect the risk of COVID-19 remains *** A retrospective follow-up design was adopted. A total of 1,160 laboratory-confirmed patients were enrolled from nine provinces in China. Data on comorbidities were obtained from the patients’ medical records. Multivariable logistic regression models were used to estimate the odds ratio(OR) and 95% confidence interval(95% CI) of the associations between comorbidities(cardiometabolic or non-cardiometabolic diseases), clinical severity, and treatment outcomes of *** Overall, 158(13.6%) patients were diagnosed with severe illness and 32(2.7%) had unfavorable outcomes. Hypertension(2.87, 1.30–6.32), type 2 diabetes(T2 DM)(3.57, 2.32–5.49),cardiovascular disease(CVD)(3.78, 1.81–7.89), fatty liver disease(7.53, 1.96–28.96), hyperlipidemia(2.15, 1.26–3.67), other lung diseases(6.00, 3.01–11.96), and electrolyte imbalance(10.40, 3.00–26.10)were independently linked to increased odds of being severely ill. T2 DM(6.07, 2.89–12.75), CVD(8.47,6.03–11.89), and electrolyte imbalance(19.44, 11.47–32.96) were also strong predictors of unfavorable outcomes. Women with comorbidities were more likely to have severe disease on admission(5.46,3.25–9.19), while men with comorbidities were more likely to have unfavorable treatment outcomes(6.58, 1.46–29.64) within two *** Besides hypertension, diabetes, and CVD, fatty liver disease, hyperlipidemia, other lung diseases, and electrolyte imbalance were independent risk factors for COVID-19 severity and poor treatment outcome. Women with comorbidities were more likely to have severe disease, while men with comorbidities were more likely to have unfavorable treatment outcomes.

Large-scale analysis of small RNAs derived from traditional Chinese herbs in human tissues

Plant-derived microRNAs have recently been reported to function in human blood and tissues. Controversy was immediately raised due to possible contamination and the lack of large sample sizes. Here, we report thousands of unique small RNAs derived from traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) herbs found in human blood cells and mouse lung tissues using a large-scale *** extracted small RNAs from decoctions of 10 TCM plants(Ban Zhi Lian, Chai hu, chuan Xin Lian, Di Ding Zi Jin, huang Qin, Jin Yin hua, Lian qiao, Pu Gong Ying, Xia Ku Cao, and Yu Xing Cao) and obtained millions of RNA sequences from each herb. We also obtained RNA-Seq data from the blood cells of humans who consumed herbal decoctions and from the lung tissues of mice administered RNAs from herbal decoctions via oral gavage. We identified thousands of unique small RNA sequences in human blood cells and mouse lung tissues. Some of these identified small RNAs from chuan Xin Lian and Hong Jing Tian could be mapped to the genomes of the herbs, confirming their TCM plant origin. Small RNAs derived from herbs regulate mammalian gene expression in a sequence-specific manner, and thus are a superior novel class of herbal drug components that hold great potential as oral gene-targeted therapeutics, highlighting the important role of herbgenomics in their development.

In December 2019, a new type viral pneumonia cases occurred in Wuhan, hubei Province;and then named "2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV)" by the World Health Organization(WHO) on 12 January 2020. For it is a never been experienced respiratory disease before and with infection ability widely and quickly, it attracted the world’s attention but without treatment and control manual. For the request from frontline clinicians and public health professionals of 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia management, an evidence-based guideline urgently needs to be developed. Therefore, we drafted this guideline according to the rapid advice guidelines methodology and general rules of WHO guideline development;we also added the first-hand management data of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. This guideline includes the guideline methodology, epidemiological characteristics, disease screening and population prevention, diagnosis, treatment and control(including traditional Chinese Medicine), nosocomial infection prevention and control, and disease nursing of the 2019-nCoV. Moreover, we also provide a whole process of a successful treatment case of the severe 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia and experience and lessons of hospital rescue for 2019-nCoV infections. This rapid advice guideline is suitable for the first frontline doctors and nurses, managers of hospitals and healthcare sections, community residents, public health persons, relevant researchers, and all person who are interested in the 2019-nCoV.

目的观察脐带绕颈在孕期中的自然变化。方法收集整个孕期均于我院完成规定的超声检查并分娩的孕妇,最终纳入8016胎,根据超声诊断脐带绕颈情况分为脐带绕颈组与无绕颈组。评估脐带绕颈的发生与脐带长度、羊水量及胎儿预后的相关性。结果超声检出脐带绕颈5091胎(5091/8016,63.51%);其中脐带绕颈自然复位2680胎(2680/5091,52.64%)。晚孕期持续脐带绕颈者分娩后绕颈变化率最低(329/1294,25.43%)。脐带绕颈组脐带长度为(53.98±7.70)cm,无脐带绕颈组(51.34±6.20)cm,二者差异有统计学意义(t=15.32,P0.05)。脐带绕颈组剖宫产率高于无绕颈组(χ2=10.23,P<0.05)。结论脐带绕颈多集中发生于中晚孕期,与脐带长度、羊水量具有一定的相关性。

目的探讨溃疡性结肠炎（UC）患者中血浆同型半胱氨酸（Hcy）、叶酸（FA）和维生素B12（VitB12）水平的改变及其临床意义。方法采用高效液相荧光检测法（HPLC—FD）检测112例UC患者和110名健康对照人群血浆Hcy水平．应用ELISA方法检测76例UC患者和12名健康对照人群血浆FA和VitB12水平。结果UC患者中血浆Hcy水平为（11．27±7．26）μmol／L，明显高于对照组的（8．19±4．81）μmol／L（P〈0．01）；UC患者中血浆Hcy水平与UC病情分度、病变范围及病程均无关（P〉0．05）。UC患者中血浆FA和VitB12水平分别为（7．64±1．95）nmol／L和（108．64±32．22）pmol／L，明显低于对照组[（9．14±1．23）nmol／L和（112．64±33．33）pmol／L，均P〈0．01]。高Hcy组患者血浆FA和VitB12水平显著低于低Hcy组（P〈0．05）。UC患者中血浆FA水平与UC病程呈负相关（P〈0．01）；而VitB12水平则与病程无相关性（P〉0．221）。结论UC患者血浆Hcy水平升高，可能与FA和VitB12水平下降有关。
