正断层阶区有软连接(soft-link)和硬连接(hard-link)2种端元连接模式。判定正断层阶区现今的连接模式不但有助于理解正断层的生长演化过程,也能指示未来正断层上发生的地震是否会在阶区内形成地表破裂,这对于评价阶区内工程场地的地震安全性具有重要意义。判定正断层阶区内是否存在活动的连接断层是区别正断层阶区现今连接模式的直接方法。然而,在多数情况下,由于正断层阶区内的变形量相对小,加上人类活动对阶区内地貌的改造,导致在本以硬连接模式生长的正断层阶区内也很难直接看到断层陡坎,这为判定正断层阶区内是否存在活动的连接断层带来了困难。山西裂谷系是东亚大陆显著的活动裂谷带,也是中国重要的强震带。口泉断裂位于山西裂谷系北部,是大同盆地的西缘边界断裂。口泉断裂在禅房村附近发育一个正断层阶区,文中称之为禅房阶区。文中以口泉断裂禅房阶区为例,通过构造地貌野外调查、地貌数据分析和地质雷达探测研究禅房阶区的连接模式。结果显示,口泉断裂禅房阶区内部存在活动的连接断层,说明禅房阶区的连接方式为硬连接模式。文中研究基于构造地貌野外调查、地貌数据分析和地质雷达探测的综合方法,可有效定位弱活动断层的空间展布,降低单一方法的不确定性。

In this study,a novel iron-based catalyst system,Fe(acac)3/(isocyanoimino)triptenylphosphorane(IITP)/AlR3,was employed for the synthesis of syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene in *** catalyst system exhibits remarkably high catalytic activity,achieving a polymerization activity of 762 kgpolymer·molcatalyst^(-1)·h^(-1)at 50℃with a[BD]/[Fe]molar ratio of ***,living polymerization characteristic were observed during the investigation of the polymerization kinetics of 1,3-butadiene *** characteristics were well demonstrated by a narrow molecular weight distribution(PDI≈2.0)of the resulting polybutadiene and a linear relationship between-ln(1-c)and polymerization time as well as number average molecular weight and polymer *** resultant polymer showed a 1,2-selectivity of approximately 76%and stereoregularity ranging from 62%to 73%(rrrr).Additionally,through kinetic studies on polymerization reaction,an apparent activation energy Ea value of this catalytic system was calculated to be 84.98 kJ·mol^(-1),which suggests that high polymerization temperature favors efficient polymerization.

Relationship Between Hyperspectral Parameters and Physiological and Biochemical Indexes of Flue-Cured Tobacco Leaves

The experiment was set up for examining the physiological and biological indexes quickly and exactly, for obtaining information of tobacco-field fertilizing and tobacco growing. The ASD Field spec FR 2500 was used to measure spectra reflectance of flue-cured tobacco and the relationship between hyperspectral parameters and biochemical contents （total nitrogen, chlorophyll, carotenoid）, and physiological indexes （fresh weight, dry weight, moisture content） of flue-cured tobacco leaves was studied by correlation and stepwise regression statistic methods at different nitrogen and potassium levels. The results indicated that the spectra curves of different treatments had obvious rules and great diversities. There were high correlations between different types of spectra parameters and ten physiological and biochemical indexes of flue-cured tobacco leaves. Hyperspectral characteristic variables of ten physiological and biochemical indexes were found through stepwise regression, and SDr/SDb was the characteristic variable closest to seven biochemical contents. Simultaneously, the R2 and regression coefficient of equations reached 0.05 significant level and the equations had good estimating effects through the examination of other samples. Accordingly, this study suggested that the ten physiological and biochemical indexes could be estimated quickly by the estimating models, at the same time nitrogen-potassium fertilization and growth condition of flue-cured tobacco could be inspected.

TRAIL and Celastrol Combinational Treatment Suppresses Proliferation, Migration, and Invasion of Human Glioblastoma Cells via Targeting Wnt/β-catenin Signaling Pathway

Objective To investigate the mechanistic basis for the anti-proliferation and anti-invasion effect of tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-induced ligand(TRAIL)and celastrol combination treatment(TCCT)in glioblastoma *** Cell counting kit-8 was used to detect the effects of different concentrations of celastrol(0-16µmol/L)and TRAIL(0-500 ng/mL)on the cell viability of glioblastoma cells.U87 cells were randomly divided into 4 groups,namely control,TRAIL(TRAIL 100 ng/mL),Cel(celastrol 0.5µmol/L)and TCCT(TRAIL 100 ng/mL+celastrol 0.5µmol/L).Cell proliferation,migration,and invasion were detected by colony formation,wound healing,and Transwell assays,*** reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting were performed to assess the levels of epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)markers(zona occludens,N-cadherin,vimentin,zinc finger E-box-binding homeobox,Slug,and β-catenin).Wnt pathway was activated by lithium chloride(LiCl,20 mol/L)and the mechanism for action of TCCT was *** Celastrol and TRAIL synergistically inhibited the proliferation,migration,invasion,and EMT of U87 cells(P<0.01).TCCT up-regulated the expression of GSK-3β and down-regulated the expression of β-catenin and its associated proteins(P<0.05 or P<0.01),including c-Myc,Cyclin-D1,and matrix metalloproteinase(MMP)-*** addition,LiCl,an activator of the Wnt signaling pathway,restored the inhibitory effects of TCCT on the expression of β-catenin and its downstream genes,as well as the migration and invasion of glioblastoma cells(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusions Celastrol and TRAIL can synergistically suppress glioblastoma cell migration,invasion,and EMT,potentially through inhibition of Wnt/β-catenin *** underlies a novel mechanism of action for TCCT as an effective therapy for glioblastoma.

A new liquid membrane diffusion model for characterizing the adsorption kinetics of europium by using a continuous measurement of adsorption platform

To explore the kinetic adsorption under continuous and nonequilibrium states, an integration of continuous measurement and adsorption platform kinetics method was proposed, which was initially called the ICM-AP kinetics method, and a corresponding kinetic adsorption experimental method was developed. Adsorption experiments of europium(Eu) on Ca-bentonite,Na-bentonite, and the D231 cation exchange resin were performed using the ICM-AP kinetics method and continuous measurements. Because the kinetic experimental results observed in this study were different from those of traditional batch adsorption data, pseudo-first-order or pseudo-second-order kinetic models were unsuitable for fitting the experimental ***, a liquid membrane diffusion(LMD) model was developed based on the assumption of simultaneous adsorption/desorption to discuss the mechanism of kinetic adsorption. The kinetic adsorption mechanism was also studied by using *** results indicated that the proposed adsorption model can fit the experimental data more suitably, and the adsorption/desorption behaviors of Eu on bentonite and the D231 resin were simultaneously observed, suggesting that the adsorption kinetics of Eu(Ⅲ) was mainly dominated by hydrated Eu(Ⅲ) ions on the liquid membrane.

With the development of magnetic manipulation technology based on magnetic nanoparticles(MNPs),scaffold-free microtissues can be constructed utilizing the magnetic attraction of MNP-labeled *** rapid in vitro construction and in vivo vascularization of microtissues with complex hierarchical architectures are of great importance to the viability and function of stem cell *** cells are indispensable for the formation of blood vessels and can be used in the prevascularization of engineered tissue ***,safe and rapid magnetic labeling of cells was achieved by incubation with MNPs for 1 h,and ultrathick scaffold-free microtissues with different sophisticated architectures were rapidly assembled,layer by layer,in 5 min *** in vivo transplantation results showed that in a stem cell microtissue with trisection architecture,the two separated human umbilical vein endothelial cell(HUVEC)layers would spontaneously extend to the stem cell layers and connect with each other to form a spatial network of functional blood vessels,which anastomosed with the host ***“hamburger”architecture of stem cell microtissues with separated HUVEC layers could promote vascularization and stem cell *** study will contribute to the construction and application of structural and functional tissues or organs in the future.

Optimal investment based on relative performance and weighted utility

This paper studies the optimal portfolio allocation of a fund manager when he bases decisions on both the absolute level of terminal relative performance and the change value of terminal relative performance comparison to a predefined reference point. We find the optimal investment strategy by maximizing a weighted average utility of a concave utility and an Sshaped utility via a concavification technique and the martingale method. Numerical results are carried out to show the impact of the extent to which the manager pays attention to the change of relative performance related to the reference point on the optimal terminal relative performance.

Fluoro-functionalized plant biomass adsorbent:Preparation and application in extraction of trace perfluorinated compounds from environmental water samples

Perfuorinated compounds(PFCs)are toxic and widely present in the environment,and therefore effective adsorbents are required to remove PFCs from environmental *** the present study,a new type of fuorinated biomass materials was synthesized via an ingenious fuorosilanization *** adsorbents were applied for the adsorption of 13typical PFCs,including perfuorocarboxylic acids(PFCAs)and perfuorosulfonic acids(PFSAs).By comparing their adsorption performance,Fluorinated cedar slag(FCS)was discovered to have the best absorption efficiency and enabled highly efficient enrichment of *** adsorption recovery of FCS with the investigated PFCs is greater than 90%under the optimal adsorption *** to the high affinity of F-F sorbent-sorbate interaction,FCS had good adsorption capacities of PFCs from aqueous solution,with the maximum adsorption capacity of 15.80 mg/g for PFOS and 10.71 mg/g for PFOA,***,the adsorption time could be achieved in a short time(8 min).Using the FCS absorbent,an innovative FCS-solid phase extraction assisted with high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray-tandem mass spectrometry(FCS-SPE-HPLC-ESI-MS/MS)method was first developed to sensitively detect PFCs in the environmental water *** intra-day and inter-day recovery rates of the 13 compounds ranged from 90.7%-104.3%,with the RSD of 2.1%-4.7%(intra-day)and 2.5%-8.5%(inter-day),*** research demonstrates the potential of the newly fuoro-functionalized plant biomass to adsorb PFCs from environmental water,with the advantages of high adsorption efficiencies,high antiinterference,easy operation and low economic cost.

BACKGROUND Undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma(UPS)is a rare malignant mesenchymal tumor with a poor *** mainly occurs in the extremities,trunk,head and neck,and retroperitoneum *** to the lack of specific clinical manifestations and imaging features,UPS diagnosis mainly depends on pathological and immunohistochemical examinations for exclusive *** we report an extremely rare case of high-grade UPS in the common bile duct(CBD).There are limited available data on such *** SUMMARY A 70-year-old woman was admitted to our department with yellow eyes and urine accompanied by upper abdominal distending pain for 2 *** laboratory data suggested significantly elevated hepatorenal function *** imaging data revealed calculous cholecystitis,intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile duct dilation with extrahepatic bile duct calculi,and a space-occupying lesion at the distal *** endoscopic biliary stenting and symptomatic support therapy,CBD exploration and biopsy were *** frozen section indicated malignant spindle cell tumor of the CBD mass,and further radical pancreaticoduodenectomy was ***,the neoplasm was diagnosed as a high-grade UPS combined with the light-microscopic morphology and immunohistochemical *** This extremely rare case highlighted the need for increasing physicians'vigilance,reducing the odds of misdiagnosis,and providing appropriate treatment strategies.
