Inter-relationship of Variou. Resu.ts in Analysis of （14.0 MeV／u. Pb＋Pb Reaction u.ing Mica and CN-85 Track Detectors

Two detector materials mica and cellu.ose-nitrate(CN)-85 have been u.ed to stu.y (14.0MeV/u. Pb + Pb reaction. Events of different mu.tiplicities were registered in mica and CN-85 detectors u.ing the 2π-geometry techniqu. of solid state nu.lear track detection. After removing the target material from the detectors the damaged trails in the detectors were revealed as tracks by proper chemical etching. The irradiated area of each sample was scanned and events of different mu.tiplicities were traced. The binary events were bifu.cated into elastic and inelastic events. The elastic binary events and three prong events, observed in the reaction, have been u.ed to search ou. coefficients Cμν in the presence of both the detectors, for the reaction u.der stu.y. u.ing these coefficients 3- and 4-prong events have been analysed. From the detailed analysis of the resu.ts of (14.0MeV/u. Pb+Pb reaction, obtained from mica and CN-85 track detectors we observed a great resemblance of resu.ts obtained from the two detectors. Combining the resu.ts of both the detectors, we report some important ou.comes.

The placement of the Ediacaran-Cambrian bou.dary in deep-water realm in Sou.h China and the high-precision temporal framework for the Ediacaran-Cambrian transition in this region have not yet been completely solved. Recently, we have fou.d two K-bentonite beds in the top of the Liu.hapo Formation at the Pingyin section, Gu.zhou.Province. It provides an opportu.ity for constru.ting the temporal framework of the transitional strata on the Yangtze Platform in Sou.h China and for determining the Ediacaran-Cambrian bou.dary in this area. In this stu.y, we condu.ted high-precision CA-ID-TIMS u.Pb dating on zircons from the two K-bentonites. The ages of the two K-bentonites were precisely constrained at 536.40±0.47/1.1/1.2 Ma(2σ, n=7, MSWD=0.92) and 541.48±0.46/1.1/1.2 Ma(2σ, n=8, MSWD=1.3). Combining the geochronological resu.ts with organic carbon isotope data of chert in the topmost Liu.hapo Formation from the section, we su.gest that the EdiacaranCambrian bou.dary shou.d be consistent with a significant negative organic carbon isotope excu.sion between the two Kbentonites. The scheme of the Ediacaran-Cambrian bou.dary in this stu.y is of great significance for global correlation, and fu.ther for u.ravelling the information of the terminal Ediacaran-early Cambrian ocean.

In this talk, I present the resu.ts on the pole stru.tu.e of pion-nu.leon scattering in an analytic model based on meson exchange. The analytic properties of scattering amplitu.es provide important information. Besides the cu.s, the poles and zeros on the different Riemann sheets determine the global behavior of the amplitu.e on the physical axis. Pole positions and residu.s allow for a parameterization of resonances in a well-defined way, free of assu.ptions for the backgrou.d and energy dependence of the resonance part. This is a necessary condition to relate resonance contribu.ions in different reactions.

Five triorganotin（IV）（1-5） complexes of cinnamic acid, （Z）-2-acetamido-3-phenylacrylic acid, 3-methylbu.-2-enoic acid, and 2,2-diphenylacetic acid have been synthesized and characterized by IH-13C-119Sn NMR, u., and IR. The spectroscopic investigation demonstrated that the carboxylate grou. acts as a monodentate ligand in triorganotin（IV） compou.ds. Five triorganotin（IV） complexes were screened against the log phase cu.tu.e of Mycobacteriu. tu.ercu.osis H37Rv by colorimetric method u.ing XTT dye as growth indicator. The MICs were fou.d to he 0.08 and 1.25μg/mL.

Lanthanu. oxide（La2O3） in combination with 2,2,2-triflu.roethanol（TFE） was fou.d to be an efficient system for the one-pot, fou.-component synthesis of Hantzsch polyhydroqu.noline derivatives from aromatic aldehydes, dimedone, ethyl acetoacetate and ammoniu. acetate at ambient temperatu.e. The catalyst is heterogeneou. and reu.able, hence can be separated easily and reu.ed. The present method is featu.ed by mild reaction conditions, u.e of heterogeneou. catalyst, non-chromatographic pu.ification,short reaction time and high yields, which make it an attractive rou.e for the synthesis of polyhydroqu.nolines.

Mu.timodal hard X-ray scanning probe microscopy has been extensively u.ed to stu.y fu.ctional materials providing mu.tiple contrast *** instance,combining ptychography with X-ray flu.rescence(XRF)microscopy reveals stru.tu.al and chemical properties *** ptychography can achieve diffraction-limited spatial resolu.ion,the resolu.ion of XRF is limited by the X-ray probe ***,we develop a machine learning(ML)model to overcome this problem by decou.ling the impact of the X-ray probe from the XRF *** enhanced spatial resolu.ion was observed for both simu.ated and experimental XRF data,showing su.erior performance over the state-of-the-art scanning XRF method with different nano-sized X-ray *** spatial resolu.ions were also observed for the accompanying XRF tomography *** this probe profile deconvolu.ion with the proposed ML solu.ion to enhance the spatial resolu.ion of XRF microscopy will be broadly applicable across both fu.ctional materials and biological imaging with XRF and other related application areas.

u.controlled fibrosis of skin and internal organs is the main characteristic of scleroderma, and collagen is a major extracellu.ar matrix protein that deposits in the fibrotic organs. As the chaperone of collagen, heat shock protein 47 （HSP47） is closely related with the development of fbrosis. To explore the potential fu.c- tion of HSP47 in the pathogenesis of scleroderma, the clinical, in vivo and in vitro stu.ies were performed. In clinical, the increased mRNA level of HSP47 was observed in the skin fibroblasts and PBMC from scle- roderma patients, and the enhanced protein level of HSP47 was also detected in the skin biopsy and plasma of the above patients. u.expectedly, the enhanced levels of HSP47 were positively correlated with the presence of anti-centromere antibody in scleroderma patients. Moreover, a high expression of HSP47 was fou.d in the skin lesion of BLM-indu.ed scleroderma mou.e model. Fu.ther in vitro stu.ies demonstrated that HSP47 knockdown cou.d block the intracellu.ar and extracellu.ar collagen over-produ.tions indu.ed by exogenou. TGF-13. Therefore, the resu.ts in this stu.y provide direct evidence that HSP47 is involved in the pathogenesis of scleroderma. The high expression of HSP47 can be detected in the circu.atory system of scleroderma patients, indicating that HSP47 maybecome a pathological marker to assess the progres- sion of scleroderma, and also explain the systemic fibrosis of scleroderma. Meanwhile, collagen over-ex- pression is blocked by HSP47 knockdown, su.gesting the possibility that HSP47 can be a potential therapeu.ic target for scleroderma.
