Historical Changes and Multi-scenario Prediction of Land Use and Terrestrial Ecosystem Carbon Storage in China

Terrestrial carbon storage(CS)plays a crucial role in achieving carbon balance and mitigating global climate *** study employs the Shared Socioeconomic Pathways and Representative Concentration Pathways(SSPs-RCPs)published by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC)and incorporates the Policy Control Scenario(PCS)regulated by China’s land management *** Future Land Use Simulation(FLUS)model is employed to generate a 1 km resolution land use/cover change(LUCC)dataset for China in 2030 and *** on the carbon density dataset of China’s terrestrial ecosystems,the study analyses CS changes and their relationship with land use changes spanning from 1990 to *** findings indicate that the quantitative changes in land use in China from 1990 to 2020 are characterised by a reduction in the area proportion of cropland and grassland,along with an increase in the impervious surface and forest *** changing trend is projected to continue under the PCS from 2020 to *** the SSPs-RCPs scenario,the proportion of cropland and impervious surface predominantly increases,while the proportions of forest and grassland continuously *** loss in China’s carbon storage from 1990 to 2020 amounted to 0.53×10^(12)kg,primarily due to the reduced area of cropland and *** the SSPs-RCPs scenario,more significant carbon loss occurs,reaching a peak of8.07×10^(12)kg in the SSP4-RCP3.4 *** loss is mainly concentrated in the southeastern coastal area and the Beijing-TianjinHebei(BTH)region of China,with urbanisation and deforestation identified as the primary *** the future,it is advisable to enhance the protection of forests and grassland while stabilising cropland areas and improving the intensity of urban *** research findings offer valuable data support for China’s land management policy,land space optimisation,and the achievement of dual-carbon targets.

Regularity for Quasi-linear Degenerate Elliptic Equations with VMO Coefficients

In this paper we establish an interior regularity of weak solution for quasi-linear degenerate elliptic equations under the subcritical growth if its coefficient matrix A（x, u） satisfies a VMO condition in the variable x uniformly with respect to all u, and the lower order item B（x, u, △↓u） satisfies the subcritical growth （1.2）. In particular, when F（x） ∈ L^q（Ω） and f（x） ∈ L^γ（Ω） with q,γ 〉 for any 1 〈 p 〈＋∞, we obtain interior HSlder continuity of any weak solution of （1.1） u with an index κ = min{1 - n/q, 1 - n/γ}.

Real-Time Thermal Schwinger-Dyson Equation for Quark Self-energy in Landau Gauge

By means of a formal expression of Cornwall-Jackiw-Tomboulis effective potential for quark propagator at finite temperatures and finite quark chemical potentials, we derive the real-time thermal Schwinger-Dyson equation for quark propagator in Landau gauge. Denote the inverse quark propagator by A（p^2）ψ - B（p^2）, we argue that, when temperature T is lower than the given infrared momentum cutoff pc, A（p^2） = 1 is a feasible approximation and can be assumed in discussions of chiral symmetry phase transition problem in QCD.

Influence of Solvent-Solvent and Solute-Solvent Interaction Properties on Solvent-Mediated Potential

A recently proposed universal calculational recipe for solvent-mediated potential is applied to calculate excess potential of mean force between two large Lennard-Jones (LJ) or hard core attractive Yukawa particles immersed in small LJ solvent bath at supercritical state. Comparison between the present prediction with a hypernetted chain approximation adopted for solute-solute correlation at infinitely dilute limit and existing simulation data shows high accuracy for the region with large separation, and qualitative reliability for the solute particle contact region. The calculational simplicity of the present recipe allows for a detailed investigation on the effect of the solute-solvent and solvent-solvent interaction details on the excess potential of mean force. The resultant conclusion is that gathering of solvent particles near a solute particle leads to repulsive excess PMF, while depletion of solvent particles away from the solute particle leads to attractive excess PMF, and minor change of the solvent-solvent interaction range has large influence on the excess PMF.

Existence of Weak Solutions to the Three-dimensional Steady Compressible Magnetohydrodynamic Equations

The purpose of this paper is to prove the existence of a spatially periodic weak solution to the steady compressible isentropic MHD equations in R3 for any specific heat ratio γ〉 1. The proof is based on the weighted estimates of both pressure and kinetic energy for the approximate system which result in some higher integrability of the density, and the method of weak convergence. According to the author＇s knowledge, it is the first result that treats in three dimensions the existence of weak solutions to the steady compressible MHD equations with γ〉1.

Removal of Cr from tannery sludge by bioleaching method

Bioleaching of Cr（Ⅲ） from tannery sludge using the mixture of ingenuous iron- and sulfur-oxidizing bacteria was investigated in batch flasks. Experiments involved the adaptation of indigenous iron-and sulfur-oxidizing bacteria, the pre-acidification the sludge to pH 6.0 and the addition of energy substrates. Results showed the inoculation of mixture of ingenuous iron- and sulfur-oxidizing bacteria and co-addition of Fe^2 and elemental sulfur accelerated acid production and increase of oxidation-reduction potential originating from the bio-oxidation of Fe2^＋ and elemental sulfur. Dissolved Cr concentration increased concomitant with pH decreased in the sludge and reached its maximum removal of 95.6%. The amelioration of the odor of bioleached sludge could be noted. However, 20.4%o of N, 24.5% of P and 14.3% of organic matter were lost in the bioleaching process. The residual Cr content in the leached tannery sludge was acceptable for use in agriculture. This study had shown the feasibility of applying the bioleaching process, developed for sewage sludge, to tannery sludge with high Cr.

A brief introduction to weakly supervised learning

Supervised learning techniques construct predictive models by learning from a large number of training examples, where each training example has a label indicating its ground-truth output. Though current techniques have achieved great success; it is noteworthy that in many tasks it is difficult to get strong supervision information like fully ground-truth labels due to the high cost of the data-labeling process. Thus,it is desirable for machine-learning techniques to work with weak supervision. This article reviews some research progress of weakly supervised learning, focusing on three typical types of weak supervision:incomplete supervision, where only a subset of training data is given with labels; inexact supervision, where the training data are given with only coarse-grained labels; and inaccurate supervision, where the given labels are not always ground-truth.

Theoretical Investigation of Uniform and Non-uniform Penetrable Sphere Fluid

A bridge function approximation is proposed for a single-component fluid consisting of penetrable sphere interacting via a potential that remains finite and constant for center-center distance smaller than the particle diameter and is zero otherwise. The radial distribution function from the Ornstein-Zernike integral equation combined with the present bridge function approximation is in satisfactory agreement with the corresponding simulation data for all of the investigated state points. The presently calculated excess Helmholtz free energy respectively based on virial route and compressibility route is highly self-consistent, and is in very good agreement with simulational results for the case of low temperatures. The present bridge function approximation, combined with the bridge density functional approximation, can reproduce very accurately density profiles of the penetrable sphere fluid confined in a hard spherical cavity for all the cases where simulational results are available.
