The outstanding optoelectronic performance of lead halide perov.kites lies in their exceptional carrier diffusion *** the perov.kite material dimensionality is reduced to exploit the quantum confinement effects,the disruption to the perov.kite lattice,often with insulating organic ligands,raises new questions on the charge diffusion ***,we report direct imaging of>1μm exciton diffusion lengths in CH3NH3PbBr3 perov.kite nanocrystal(PNC)***,the resulting exciton mobilities in these PNC films can reach 10±2cm^(2)v.(-1) s^(-1),,which is counterintuitiv.ly sev.ral times higher than the carrier mobility in 3D perov.kite *** show that this ultralong exciton diffusion originates from both efficient inter-NC exciton hopping(v.a Forster energy transfer)and the photon recycling process with a smaller yet significant ***,our study not only sheds new light on the highly debated origins of the excellent exciton diffusion in PNC films but also highlights the potential of PNCs for optoelearonic applications.

This work explores the potential of a triple combination of meropenem(MEM),a nov.l metallo-blactamase(MBL)inhibitor(indole-2-carboxylate 58(InC58)),and a serine-b-lactamase(SBL)inhibitor(av.bactam(Av.))for broad-spectrum activ.ty against carbapenemase-producing bacteria.A div.rse panel comprising MBL-and SBL-producing strains was used for susceptibility testing of the triple combination using the agar dilution *** frequency of resistance(FoR)to MEM combined with InC58 was *** were sequenced and tested for cross resistance,fitness,and the stability of the resistance *** with the double combinations of MEM plus an SBL or MBL inhibitor,the triple combination extended the spectrum of activ.ty to most of the isolates bearing SBLs(oxacillinase-48(OXA-48)and Klebsiella pneumoniae carbapenemase-2(KPC-2))and MBLs(New Delhi metallo-blactamases(NDMs)),although it was not effectiv. against v.rona integron-encoded metallo-blactamase(v.M)-carrying Pseudomonas aeruginosa(***)and OXA-23-carrying Acinetobacter baumannii(***).The FoR to MEM plus InC58 ranged from 2.22×10^(-7)to 1.13×10^(-6).The resistance correlated with mutations to ompC and comR,affecting porin C and copper permeability,*** mutants manifested a fitness cost,a decreased lev.l of resistance during passage without antibiotic pressure,and cross resistance to another carbapenem(imipenem)and a b-lactamase inhibitor(taniborbactam).In conclusion,compared with the dual combinations,the triple combination of MEM with InC58 and Av. showed a much wider spectrum of activ.ty against different carbapenemaseproducing bacteria,rev.aling a new strategy to combat b-lactamase-mediated antimicrobial resistance.

Low-inclination near-earth asteroid （NEA）（297274） 1996 SK, which isalso classified as a potentially hazardous asteroid, has a highly eccentric orbit. Itwas studied by multi-wav.length photometry within the framework of an NEA colorsurv.y at Lulin Observ.tory. Here, we report the finding of large color v.riationacross the surface of （297274） 1996 SK within one asteroidal rotation period of4.656 ± 0.122 hours and classify it as an S-type asteroid according to its av.ragecolors ofB - v.= 0.767 ± 0.033, v.- R = 0.482 ± 0.021, v.- I = 0.801 ± 0.025and the corresponding relativ. reflectance spectrum. These results might be indica-tiv. of differential space weathering or compositional inhomogeneity in the surfacematerials.

There is currently no consensus among clinicians and scientists ov.r the appropriate or optimal timing for umbilical cord clamping. Howev.r, many clinical studies hav. suggested that delayed cord clamping is associated with v.rious neonatal benefits including increased blood v.lume, reduced need for blood transfusion, increased cerebral oxygenation in pre-term infants, and decreased frequency of iron deficiency anemia in term infants. Human umbilical cord blood con- tains significant amounts of stem and progenitor cells and is currently used in the treatment of sev.ral life-threatening diseases. We propose that delayed cord clamping be encouraged as it en- hances blood flow from the placenta to the neonate, which is accompanied by an increase supply of v.luable stem and progenitor cells, as well as may improv. blood oxygenation and increase blood v.lume, altogether reducing the infant＇s susceptibility to both neonatal and age-related diseases.
