Currently,e-learning is one of the most prevalent educational methods because of its need in today’s *** classrooms and web-based learning are becoming the new method of teaching *** students experience a lack of access to resources commonly the educational *** remote loca-tions,educational institutions face signiﬁcant challenges in accessing various web-based materials due to bandwidth and network infrastructure *** objective of this study is to demonstrate an optimization and queueing tech-nique for allocating optimal servers and slots for users to access cloud-based e-learning *** proposed method provides the optimization and queue-ing algorithm for multi-server and multi-city constraints and considers where to locate the best *** optimal server selection,the Rider Optimization Algo-rithm(ROA)is utilized.A performance analysis based on time,memory and delay was carried out for the proposed methodology in comparison with the exist-ing *** proposed Rider Optimization Algorithm is compared to Par-ticle swarm Optimization(PsO),Genetic Algorithm(GA)and Fireﬂy Algorithm(FFA),the proposed method is more suitable and effective because the other three algorithms drop in local optima and are only suitable for small numbers of user *** the proposed method outweighs the conventional techniques by its enhanced performance over them.

severe lattice distortion is a prominent feature of high-entropy alloys(HEAs)considered a reason for many of those alloys’***,accurate characterizations of lattice distortion are still scarce to only cover a tiny fraction of HEA’s giant composition space due to the expensive experimental or computational *** we present a physics-informed statistical model to efficiently produce high-throughput lattice distortion predictions for refractory non-dilute/high-entropy alloys(RHEAs)in a 10-element composition *** model offers improved accuracy over conventional methods for fast estimates of lattice distortion by making predictions based on physical properties of interatomic bonding rather than atomic size mismatch of pure *** modeling of lattice distortion also implements a predictive model for yield strengths of RHEAs validated by various sets of experimental *** our previous model on intrinsic ductility,a data mining design framework is demonstrated for efficient exploration of strong and ductile single-phase RHEAs.

somatic activating mutations in the epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)are one of the most common oncogenic drivers in cancers such as non-small-cell lung cancer(NsCLC),metastatic colorectal cancer,glioblastoma,head and neck cancer,pancreatic cancer,and breast ***-targeted agents against EGFR signaling pathways have shown robust clinical efficacy,but patients inevitably experience acquired *** immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)targeting PD-1/PD-L1 have exhibited durable anti-tumor responses in a subset of patients across multiple cancer types,their efficacy is limited in cancers harboring activating gene alterations of *** studies have demonstrated that upregulation of new B7/CD28 family members such as B7-H3,B7x and HHLA2,is associated with EGFR signaling and may contribute to resistance to EGFR-targeted therapies by creating an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment(TME).In this review,we discuss the regulatory effect of EGFR signaling on the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway and new B7/CD28 family member *** these interactions may inform combination therapeutic strategies and potentially overcome the current challenge of resistance to EGFR-targeted *** also summarize clinical data of anti-PD-1/PD-L1 therapies in EGFR-mutated cancers,as well as ongoing clinical trials of combination of EGFR-targeted therapies and anti-PD-1/PD-L1 immunotherapies.

Rate-transient analysis(RTA)has been widely applied to extract estimates of reservoir/hydraulic fracture ***,the majority of RTA techniques can lead to misdiagnosis of reservoir/fracture information when the reservoir exhibits reservoir heterogeneity and multiphase flow *** work proposes a practical-yet-rigorous method to decouple the effects of reservoir heterogeneity and multiphase flow during TLF,and improve the evaluation of reservoir/fracture properties.A new,general,semi-analytical model is proposed that explicitly accounts for multiphase flow,fractalbased reservoir heterogeneity,anomalous diffusion,and pressure-dependent fluid *** is achieved by introducing a new Boltzmann-type transformation,the exponent of which includes reservoir heterogeneity and anomalous *** order to decouple the effects of reservoir heterogeneity and multiphase flow during TLF,the modified Boltzmann variable allows the conversion of three partial differential equations(PDE's)(i.e.,oil,gas and water diffusion equations)into ordinary differential equations(ODE's)that are easily solved using the Runge-Kutta(RK)method.A modified time-power-law plot is also proposed to estimate the reservoir and fracture properties,recognizing that the classical square-root-of-time-plot is no longer valid when various reservoir complexities are exhibited *** the slope of the straight line on the modified time-power-law plot,the linear flow parameter can be estimated with more ***,because of the new Boltzmann-type transformation,reservoir and fracture properties can be derived more efficiently without the need for defining complex pseudo-variable *** the new semi-analytical model,the effects of multiphase flow,reservoir heterogeneity and anomalous diffusion on rate-decline behavior are *** the case of approximately constant flowing pressure,multiphase flow impacts initial oil rate,which is a funct

The present work shows that the addition of small volume fractions of multi-walled carbon nanotubes （CNTs） to the matrix results in a significant increase in the high-cycle fatigue life. It is proposed that carbon nanotubes tend to inhibit the formation of large cracks by nucleating nano-scale damage zones. In addition, the contribution to energy absorption from the fracture of nanotubes bridging across nano-scale cracks and from nanotube pull-out from the matrix are mechanisms that can improve the fatigue life. An energy-based model was proposed to estimate the additional strain energy absorbed in fatigue. The distributed nanotubes in the matrix appear to both distribute damage as well as inhibit damage propagation resulting in an overall improvement in the fatigue strength of glass fiber composites.
