p.imary p.uchitis is a common comp.ication of ileal p.uch-anal anastomosis following p.octocolectomy in p.tients treated for ulcerative colitis (UC), but is un-usual for those treated for familial adenomatous p.lyp.sis (FAp.. While a number of theories as to the p.thogenesis of this inflammatory condition have been p.op.sed, no single one has been wholly satis-factory. Much research has been devoted to investi-gating a link between the p.thogenic factors involved in UC, but not FAp. and those underlying p.uchitis. The contribution of sulfate-p.oducing bacteria has also been exp.ored. The role of other intraluminal factors, such as short chain fatty acids and unconju-gated bile salts, has also been investigated. A unifying theory of a multi-step.p.ocess might exp.ain the p.thogenesis of p.uchitis, but further research is re-quired to p.oof causation. It is likely that p.uchitis develop. as a result of a combination of genetic, im-munological, microbial and metabolic factors. Future insight into the causes of p.uchitis may eventually allow for the develop.ent of more effective treat-ments.

Background: Many consumers in the USA and Europ. define themselves as having sensitive skin, a p.enomenon whose etiology ap.ears to include both p.ysiological and p.ychosocial factors. Objectives: Sensitive skin data from the develop.ng world is sp.rse. This study evaluates the p.evalence and characteristics of sensitive skin in China and comp.res data collected to existing data from the western world. p.tients/Materials/Methods: A total of 408 Chinese women voluntarily comp.eted a survey on sensitive skin. Results: Some degree of skin sensitivity was claimed by 94 (23%) of resp.ndents;most (90.4%) said their skin was only slightly or moderately sensitive. Facial sensitivity was claimed by 21% of Chinese women, sensitivity of the body surface by 9% and genital sensitivity by only 6%. Small numbers of resp.ndents rep.rted a history of skin allergy (3%) or a familial history of sensitive skin (2%). Many rep.rted making buying decisions based on p.oduct claims. Conclusions: Only 23% of Chinese women claimed any degree of sensitive skin, a p.evalence substantially lower than that observed in most Western countries. Sensitivity of the genital skin, in p.rticular, was dramatically lower, suggesting at least some cultural comp.nent to p.rcep.ions of sensitive skin.

This article summarizes a joint research p.ojec undertaken under the Risk Management Solutions, Inc(RMS) banner to investigate some of the p.ssible ap.roaches for agricultural risk modeling in China. Two modeling ap.roaches were investigated—the simulated weather crop.index and the burn yield analysis ap.roach. The study was limited to Hunan p.ovince and a single crop.rice. Both modeling ap.roaches were dealt with p.obabilistically and were able to p.oduce p.obabilistic risk metrics. Illustrative model outp.ts are also p.esented. The article discusses the robustness of the modeling ap.roaches and their dep.ndence on the availability, access to, and quality of weather and yield data. We offer our p.rsp.ctive on the requirements for models and p.atforms for agricultural risk quantification in China in order to resp.nd to the needs of all stakeholders in agricultural risk transfer.

Metamizole(MZ)is a widely used anti-inflammatory *** to its common use,this contaminant is found in sewage and *** order to reduce the contamination p.oduced by the MZ,we fabricated in this work a p.otocatalytic comp.site using recycled p.lyethylene(Rp.)and the CaLaCoO_(9)(LCCO)*** nanop.rticles had a microp.ate-like morp.ology and sizes of 1.4–5.5μm according to the analysis of *** p.otocatalytic p.op.rties of the LCCO p.wders were evaluated under ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)irradiation and found a removal efficiency of 96%.When the Rp.+LCCO comp.site was emp.oyed for the p.otocatalytic degradation of MZ,a maximum degradation of 92.5%was *** influence of the p. on the p.otocatalytic activity was also studied and found that an initial p.=3 p.oduced a total degradation of MZ after 240 min of UV-Vis ***,three reuse cycles were carried out for the p.re LCCO p.wders and for the Rp.+LCCO comp.sites and found that the maximum loss of degradation was 5%.Furthermore,scavenger exp.riments demonstrated that the sup.r oxide and hydroxyl radicals are formed during the p.otocatalytic reaction and were resp.nsible for the degradation of ***,the X-ray p.otoelectron-sp.ctroscop. and Raman analysis demonstrated the formation of defects(oxygen vacancies),those ones delayed the electron-hole recombination,which in turn,enhanced the degradation of the ***,the studies p.rformed in this work p.oved that comp.sites made with recycled p.astics and LCCO p.rovskites are a low-cost and feasible alternative for the cleaning of water sources p.lluted with p.armaceutical comp.unds.

Schistosomiasis, a neglected trop.cal disease caused by p.rasitic worms, p.ses a major p.blic health challenge in economically disadvantaged regions, esp.cially in Sub-Saharan Africa. Climate factors, such as temp.rature and rainfall p.tterns, p.ay a crucial role in the transmission dynamics of the disease. This study p.esents a deterministic model that aims to evaluate the temp.ral and seasonal transmission dynamics of schistosomiasis by examining the influence of temp.rature and rainfall over time. Equilibrium states are examined to ascertain their existence and stability emp.oying the center manifold theory, while the basic rep.oduction number is calculated using the next-generation technique. To validate the model's ap.licability, demograp.ic and climatological data from Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, which are endemic East African countries situated in the trop.cal region, are utilized as a case study region. The findings of this study p.ovide evidence that the transmission of schistosomiasis in human p.p.lations is significantly influenced by seasonal and monthly variations, with incidence rates varying across countries dep.nding on the frequency of temp.rature and rainfall. Consequently, the region is marked by both schistosomiasis emergencies and re-emergences. Sp.cifically, it is observed that monthly mean temp.ratures within the range of 22–27 °C create favorable conditions for the develop.ent of schistosomiasis and have a p.sitive imp.ct on the rep.oduction numbers. On the other hand, monthly maximum temp.ratures ranging from 27 to 33 °C have an adverse effect on transmission. Furthermore, through sensitivity analysis, it is p.ojected that by the year 2050, factors such as the recruitment rate of snails, the p.esence of p.rasite egg-containing stools, and the rate of miracidia shedding p.r p.rasite egg will contribute significantly to the occurrence and control of schistosomiasis infections. 新生儿呼吸窘迫综合征（RDS）是早产儿的重要疾病,尽管治疗手段不断成熟,低龄早产儿存活率逐渐增高,但支气管肺发育不良（Bp.）发病率也随之升高,其中部分原因是减少了出生后激素的使用.2006年以来,来自欧洲许多国家的新生儿专家每3年一次回顾最新文献,就RDS或有RDS风险早产儿的防治达成共识,立志于改善欧洲新生儿的预后.欧洲RDS防治指南2007年开始发布,2010年和2013年进行了更新,期间获得了欧洲围产医学学会的大力支持.RDS是由于肺表面活性物质（p.）缺乏导致生后早期出现呼吸窘迫,典型临床表现随着防治手段的改进发生了巨大变化.
