Vector boson scattering at the Large Hadron Collider(LHC)is sensitive to anomalous quartic gauge couplings(aQGCs).In this study,we investigate the aQGC contribution to Wγjj production at the LHC with√s=13 TeV in the context of an effective field theory(EFT).The unitarity bound is applied as a cut on the energy scale of this production process,which is found to have significant suppressive effects on *** enhance the statistical significance,we analyze the kinematic and polarization features of the aQGC signals in *** find that the polarization effects induced by aQGCs are unique and can discriminate the signals from the SM backgrounds *** the proposed event selection strategy,we obtain the constraints on the coefficients of dimension-8 operators with current *** results indicate that the process pp→Wγjj is powerful for searching for the OM2,3,4,5 and OT5,6,7 operators.

A series of new physics scenarios predict the existence of the extra charged gauge boson W’,which can induce charged-current(CC)non-standard neutrino interactions(NSIs).The theoretical constraints on the simplified W’model and further on the CC NSI parameters ε_(αβ)^-qq'Y from partial wave unitarity and W’decays are *** sensitivity of the process pp→W’→lv to the W’model at the LHC and high-luminosity(HL)LHC experiments is investigated by estimating the expected constraints on ε_(αβ)^-qq'Y (α=β=e orμ)using a Monte-Carlo(MC)*** find that the interference effect plays an important role,and the LHC can strongly constrain ε_(αβ)^-qq'L .Compared with those at the 13 TeV LHC with L=139 fb^(-1),the expected constraints at the 14TeV LHC with L=3 ab^(-1)can be strengthened to approximately one order of magnitude.

We investigate the possibility of detecting the leptophilic gauge boson Z_(x) predicted by the U(1)Le−Lμmodel via the processes e+e−→ℓ^(+)ℓ^(−)Z_(x)(Z_(x)→ℓ^(+)ℓ^(−))and e+e−→ℓ^(+)ℓ^(−)Z_(x)(Z_(x)→νℓ¯νℓ)at the Circular Electron Positron Collider(CEPC)with a center of mass energy√s=240 GeV and luminosity L=5.6ab^(−1).We provide the expected sensitivities of the CEPC to the parameter space at the 1σ,2σ,3σ,and 5σlevels.

Mercury(Hg)pollution has been a global concern in recent decades,posing a significant threat to entire ecosystems and human health due to its cumulative toxicity,persistence,and transport in the *** intense interaction between mercury and selenium has opened up a new field for studying mercury removal from industrial flue gas *** the advantages of good Hg0 capture performance and lowsecondary pollution of the mineral selenium compounds,the most noteworthy is the relatively low regeneration temperature,allowing adsorbent regeneration with low energy consumption,thus reducing the utilization cost and enabling recovery of mercury *** paper reviews the recent progress of mineral selenium compounds in flue gas mercury removal,introduces in detail the different types ofmineral selenium compounds studied in the field ofmercury removal,reviews the adsorption performance of various mineral selenium compounds adsorbents on mercury and the influence of flue gas components,such as reaction temperature,air velocity,and other factors,and summarizes the adsorption mechanism of different fugitive forms of selenium *** on the current research progress,future studies should focus on the economic performance and the performance of different carriers and sizes of adsorbents for the removal of Hg0 and the correlation between the gas-particle flow characteristics and gas phase mass transfer with the performance of Hg0 removal in practical industrial *** addition,it remains a challenge to distinguish the oxidation and adsorption of Hg0 quantitatively.

Sandstone-hosted copper deposits,a type of Sediment-Hosted Stratiform Copper (SSC) deposits,are widely distributed *** economically viable deposits of SSC are relatively scarce,they account for approximately 30%of the world's total discovered copper ***,there is still a lack of comprehensive and in-depth research into the depositional and metallogenic models of these *** Jiashi area of the Tarim Basin in northwestern China,known for its economically significant Paleogene SSC deposit,lacks in-depth studies on metallogenic *** address this,field profile observations were conducted to analyze the sedimentary evolution,sequence stratigraphy,and tectonism of the Paleogene strata in the Jiashi *** with elemental geochemical analysis of samples,the provenance of sediment,and the source of metallogenic materials,a robust metallogenic model was *** results reveal the influence of provenance for the origin of Paleogene copper-rich *** evolution played a crucial role in controlling the distribution of copper and sulfur elements,as well as the spatial arrangement of metallogenic ***,nappe movement potentially generated faults,allowing upward movement of basin fluids,which played a crucial role in the formation of copper deposits within sandstone-hosted ***,this study offers a comprehensive analysis of the metallogenic processes involved in sandstone-hosted copper deposits,thereby contributing significant insights to the broader research on SSC deposits worldwide.
