Li4Ti50i2 (LTO) has attracted considerable attention in lithium-ion battery (LIB) applications because of its favorable characteristics as an anode material. Despite its promise, the widespread use of LTO is still limited primarily due to its intrinsically poor electric and ionic con ductivities and high surface reactivity. To address these issues, we desig ned polyg onal nano architectures composed of various Li-Ti oxide crystal polymorphs by a facile synthesis route. Depending on the pH condition, this synthesis approach yields multi-polymorphed Li-Ti oxides where the interior is dominantly composed of a Li-rich phase and the exterior is a Li-deficient (or Li-free) phase. As one of these variations, a polygonal LTO-rutile TiO2 structure is formed. The rutile TiO2 on the surface of this LTO composite significantly improves the kinetics of Li^+ insertion/extraction because the channel along the o-axis in TQ2 provides a Li^+ highway due to the significantly low energy barrier for Li^+ diffusion. Moreover, the presenee of rutile TiO2, which is less reactive with a carbonate-based electrolyte, ensures Iong-term stability by suppress)ng the undesirable interfacial reaction on LTO.

Background： Dietary nucleotides, considered as antibiotics alternative, were shown to have positive effects on intestinal hyperaemia, systemic immunity, small-intestinal growth, and hepatic composition in pigs. However, there is no previous research on nucleotide supplementation in weanling pigs under an oral challenged E. coil K88. Therefore, 2 experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of dietary nucleotides on weanling pig growth performance, nutrient digestibility, fecal score, and blood profile after being orally challenged with E. coli K88. Methods： In Exp. 1, a total of 140 weanling pigs [8.33 ± 0.33 kg of body weight （BW）, 28-d old] were used in this 42-d feeding trial. Pigs were distributed into 1 of 4 treatments, 5 pigs/pen （3 barrows and 2 gilts） and 7 pens/treatment. Treatments were a control basal diet （CON） or the CON supplemented with 150 （R150）, 220 （R220）, or 275 （R275） mg/kg to give the three treatment diets. In Exp. 2, 28 weanling pigs （BW = 8.40 ± 0.22 kg, 28-d old） were distributed into 1 of 4 treatments to give 1 pig/pen and 7 pens/treatment in a 42-d feeding and challenge trial. Dietary treatments were the same as in Exp. 1. 0n d 14, all those pigs （BW= 13.3±0.15 kg, 42-d old） were orally dosed with 1.5 mL suspension containing 10 cfu/mL of E. coli K88. Twenty four hours after challenge, blood and excreta samples were collected from each pigs for analysis. Fecal scores were measured on d 7, 14, 21, and 28 of the study. Results： In Exp. 1, overall BW, average daily gain （ADG）, gain/feed （G/F） ratio, and nutrient digestibilities were lower （P 〈 0.05） in CON group compared with the nucleotides fed pigs. In Exp. 2, after challenge, IgA, IgM, and IGF-I were higher （P〈 0.05） in the nucleotide groups compared with CON. However, the nucleotide groups had lower （P 〈 0.05） cortisol and TNF-o compared with CON. Fecal E. coil counts and fecal score for the nucleotide groups were lower （P 〈 0.05） than for CON. BACKGROUND Gastric cancer is the fifth most diagnosed cancer worldwide and the third most common cause of cancer-related *** recent decades,increasing application of next-generation sequencing has enabled detection of molecular aberrations,including *** cases where tissue is difficult to obtain,cell-free DNA(cfDNA)is used for detecting mutations to identify the molecular profile of ***,we report a rare case of EGFR-SEPT14 fusion detected from cfDNA analysis in a patient with gastric *** SUMMARY A 49-year-old female diagnosed with advanced gastric cancer in July 2019 received capecitabine and then combination chemotherapy of ramucirumab and paclitaxel,but ascites was *** therapy was switched to nivolumab,but disease progression was observed on a positron emission tomography/computed tomography scan in May *** was discontinued,and cfDNA nextgeneration sequencing was immediately *** genomic variants,including fusions,were analyzed from *** following somatic alterations were detected from the patient’s cfDNA:an APC frameshift mutation(NM_000038.5:c.6579del,p.V2194fs)with variant allele frequency of 0.5%,an EGFR amplification with a copy number of 17.3,and an EGFR-SEPT14 fusion with variant allele frequency of 45.3%.The site of the fusion was exon 24 of EGFR fused to exon 10 of *** fusion was in-frame and considered to be protooncogenic. Although the patient refused to continue therapy, we suggest thatEGFR-targeted therapies be tried in such future *** expanded applications of the cfDNA assay may open a new horizon intreatment of patients with advanced gastric cancer.

We consider strongly nonlinear long waves on the surface of a homogeneous fluid *** modifying the formulation for the high-order spectral(HOS)method for waves in water of finite depth,we present a higher-order nonlinear system for the surface elevation and the velocity potential on the free surface to describe the two-dimensional evolution of large amplitude long *** is shown that the resulting system preserves the Hamiltonian structure of the Euler equations and can be transformed to the strongly nonlinear long-wave model for the depth-averaged *** to truncation of the linear dispersion relation for water waves,both the system for the surface velocity potential and that for the depth-averaged velocity are ill-posed when the order of approximation is odd and even,*** avoid this ill-posedness,fully dispersive models are also *** the same order approximation,the long-wave model is found more effective for numeral studies of large amplitude long waves than the finite-depth model.

Colloidal quantum dots(CQDs)are promising semiconducting materials,which can be used as a photoactive layer in various optoelectronic applications,because of their size-tunable bandgap energy,solution processability,and excellent optical and optoelectronic *** particular,these features have generated great interest in the development of CQD solar cells and led to a rapid increase in their power conversion *** improvements were enabled by many innovative approaches in terms of CQD’s surface chemistry and device architecture *** this review,a critical overview of the research progress in CQD solar cells is presented with a focus on the strategies adopted for achieving record efficiency in CQD solar *** strategies include the use of organic/inorganic surface ligands,pre-and post-treatment of CQDs,and solid-state/solution-phase ligand ***,we provide an understanding of the research history to inspire the rational design of next-generation CQD optoelectronic devices,such as solar cells,light-emitting diodes,and *** research on the development of infrared CQD solar cells as complementary platforms to other solar cell technologies is also critically discussed to provide another perspective on CQD technologies.

As the aircraft and aerospace industry and the automobile industry are developed, the demand of reliable materials with high strength and high toughness is steadily increased. The grain miniature method which improves the ductility and the toughness simultaneously under high strength is the miniature of the casting microstructure. In this paper, the Nb which affects the austenite grain miniature is added by 0.00%, 0.03% and 0.06% in this steel and the ingot is manufactured in a vacuum induction melting furnace （VIM）. The casting microstructure and the mechanical property of the maraging steel according to Nb contents are analyzed by conducting the solution annealing and the age hardening after hot rolling. In this result, a specimen containing 0.03% Nb is most miniature. When it does the long time age hardening, the precipitation estimated as the carbide is appeared. The mechanical properties are excellent if a specimen containing 0.06% Nb does the age hardening during 8 h in 482℃.

At the site of nuclear accidents,fjrefjghters situated near nuclear power plants(NPPs)assume responsibility for suppressing fjres and rescuing workers from leaked *** timely responses to nuclear emergencies can prevent or minimize the catastrophic impacts of these *** their important role in nuclear emergency management,little is known about the factors that influence fjrefjghters'nuclear emergency *** recruited 179 Korean fjrefjghters(96%male)situated near *** examined whether and how knowledge regarding nuclear accidents and trust in the authorities operating nuclear power plants were related to fjrefjghters'risk perceptions of nuclear accidents to predict their preparedness and willingness to respond to nuclear *** results indicate that trust moderated the effect of knowledge on the perceived risk of nuclear accidents,and that the perceived risk mediated the relationship between knowledge and fjrefjghters'preparedness and willingness to respond to nuclear *** results revealed a pattern of moderated mediation,in which perceived risk mediated the indirect effect of knowledge on preparedness and willingness when the fjrefjghters'trust was low,but not when it was high.

Numerous previous literature has attempted to apply machine learning techniques to analyze relationships between energy variables in energy ***,most machine learning methods are primarily used for prediction through complicated learning processes at the expense of *** methods have difficulties in evaluating the effect of energy variables on energy consumption and especially capturing their heterogeneous ***,to identify the energy consumption of the heterogeneous relationships in actual buildings,this study applies the MOdel-Based recursive partitioning(MOB)algorithm to the 2012 CBECS survey data,which would offer representative information about actual commercial building characteristics and energy *** resultant tree-structured subgroups,the MOB tree reveals the heterogeneous effect of energy variables and mutual influences on building energy *** results of this study would provide insights for architects and engineers to develop energy conservative design and retrofit in *** buildings.
