A novel artificial anal sphincter system has been developed to simulate the normal physiology of the human anorectum. With the goal of engineering a safe and reliable device, the model of human colonic blood flow has been built and the relationship between the colonic blood flow rate and the operating occlusion pressure of the anorectum is achieved. The tissue ischemia is analyzed based on constitutive relations for human anorectum. The results suggest that at the planned operating occlusion pressure of less than 4 kPa the artificial anal sphincter should not risk the vascularity of the human colon.

An optimal design approach of high order FIR digital filter is developed based on the algorithm of neural networks with cosine basis function . The main idea is to minimize the sum of the square errors between the amplitude response of the desired FIR filter and that of the designed by training the weights of neural networks, then obtains the impulse response of FIR digital filter . The convergence theorem of the neural networks algorithm is presented and proved, and the optimal design method is introduced by designing four kinds of FIR digital filters , i.e., low-pass, high-pass, bandpass , and band-stop FIR digital filter. The results of the amplitude responses show that attenuation in stop-bands is more than 60 dB with no ripple and pulse existing in pass-bands, and cutoff frequency of passband and stop-band is easily controlled precisely .The presented optimal design approach of high order FIR digital filter is significantly effective.

Dynamic Analysis of Axial Magnetic Forces for DVD Spindle Motors

＜正＞To deal with mode of production small lot size and more varieties, the system of mixed production lines of material delivering system drawn by order was discussed. Firstly, the model of mixed production lines of material delivering system drawn by orders was build. Secondly, the logic of processing of the model was studied. To realize delivering components to production line in JIT＆PDT, three disposing ways were presented. Thirdly, Disposing flow of this system models were analyzed. Finally, The physical structure and function of the system was put forward.

The axial magnetic force, induced by the complicated flux linkage distribution from rotor magnet and stator slotted, is constructed by different relative heights and calculated by 3D finite element method (FEM) to analyze the dynamic characteristics for a DVD spindle motor. The axial magnetic force is designed to provide an axial stiffness, and govern the natural frequency of the dynamic performance. According to the simulation results and experimental measurements, the dynamic behaviors are significantly improved with a variation of relative height of rotor magnet and stator slotted on a DVD spindle motor.

We present a theoretic model to calculate skin dep.hs and eddy-current power losses for a magnetic position sensor. Eddy-current, arised from the operation of an alternating-current excitation, induces secondary currents and fields between magnetic material and magnetic position sensor. In this paper, a magnetic position sensor system is simplified to be an outer-winding coil along the axial direction of a low carbon steel bar. The analytical model is derived from basic field and circuit theory considering a linear approximation for a nonlinear permeability. Thus the skin dep.hs and eddy-current power losses from the model in eddy-current modeling techniques at various frequencies of an excited current source can be calculated. The proposed configuration is capable of predicting the skin dep.hs and eddy-current power losses for a magnetic position sensor and has a consistence with experiments.

＜正＞Based on the p-q-r theory, this paper presents a direct control strategy of unified power quality conditioner （UPQC） used in the nonlinear and unbalance three- phase four-wire system .A algorithm of calculating the series compensation current and shunt compensation voltage in the proposed system is introduced. An analysis of the proposed control strategy and its schematic diagram is described in particular .Simulation results using M ATLAB/ SIMULINK show that the harmonic current, reactive power of load as well as neutral current are compensated well when unbalance and nonlinear occur in load current or unbalance and sag in source voltage, load voltage get balanced and rated and power factor of power source is about unity.

A routing algorithm for distributed optimal double loop computer networks is proposed and analyzed. In this paper, the routing algorithm rule is described, and the procedures realizing the algorithm are given. The proposed algorithm is shown to be optimal and robust for optimal double loop. In the absence of failures,the algorithm can send a packet along the shortest path to destination; when there are failures,the packet can bypasss failed nodes and links.

To degrade location accuracy for unauthorized GPS users, US government applied Selective Availability (SA) to Global Positioning System (GPS). In this paper we discuss an anti-SAapproach to improve location accuracy which is very important in landing position, and then we derived the SA error by eliminating almost all other errors including ionospheric and tropospheric timedelays and clock errors both in satellites and in receiver, etc. By means of the system identificationtheory, an SA errorl all SA error model with the second-order Gauss-Maukov stochastic process wasderived and simulated. With the selected parameters of the stochastic process) the simulation resultsshow that there is the excellent agreement between the simulated SA error model and that of reallyapplied in GPS system.
