The nonisothermal behavior of the oxidation of natural ilmenite pellets was interpreted in the light of a nonisothermal kinetic model which fits the experimental results very *** rate of the overall oxidation was predominantly controlled by the intrapellet diffusion of oxygen and the rate of heat transfer was mainly limited by the heat conduction through the product *** oxidation of natural ilmenite pellet can not be treated as an isothermal reaction system within the temperature range of 1073～ 1173K unless the concentration of oxygen in the gaseous reactants is less than 10 mol%.

Temperature nonuniformity in rapid thermal processing of wafers is a critical problem facing the semiconductor industry. One cause of the problem is the nonuniform absorption of thermal radiation in patterned wafers where the optical properties vary across the wafer surface. This paper presents a parametric study of the radiative properties of patterned wafers, considering the effect of temperature, wavelength, and polarization. The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is employed to examine the effect of various trench sizes on the radiative properties via numerically solving the Maxwell equations. The effective medium theory (EMT) is also used to help explain the absorptance prediction. The results show that in the cases with trench size variation, the resonance cavity effect may increase the absorptance as the trench width increases. And in the cases with trench size increasing at several different filling ratios, the absorptance does not change much at small filling ratio. The effects of the resonant cavity, diffraction, wave interferences on the spectral-directional absorptance were also discussed. This work is of great importance for optimization of advanced annealing techniques in semiconductor manufacturing.

This paper presents a parametric study of the radiative properties of patterned wafers with a polysilicon gate array on the Si substrate, considering the effect of wavelength and polarization. The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method was employed to examine the pattern scaling effect on the spectral absorptance via numerical solutions of the Maxwell's equations. The effective medium theory (EMT) was also used to help explain the absorptance predictions. While the gate sizes are very small compared to wavelength, the results show rather unusual phenomena. The absorptance calculated by EMT is in agreement with FDTD in the cases with small gate and period sizes. With the increase of period and decrease of the ratio of the gate width to the grating period, both EMT and FDTD results for the TM (transverse magnetic) mode approach to pure silicon since the grating effect diminishes. However, the error of EMT results for the TE mode in some cases becomes considerable due to the limitation of EMT, which requires the period to be significantly smaller than the wavelength. Besides, the TE (transverse electric) absorptance curve separates from that of plain Si when the wavelength equals the grating period, this is because the gate can interact with its neighbering region by diffraction and the diffraction effects are weak, when the wavelength is small. The peak absorptance can be attributed to the thin film effect. It shows that a slight increase in the gate height can drastically increase the absorptance and the increased gate height shifts the peak absorptance to longer wavelength due to the increase of optical path length in the effective thin film. This work is of great importance for optimization of advanced annealing techniques in semiconductor manufacturing.

The effects of electric-field treatment on the microstructure and deformation behavior of a nickel-base superalloy were *** results show that the electric-field treatment increases the ductility of the superalloy but has no evident influence on its static strength at both room and elevated temperatures,while,the strength increases but elongation changes weekly with the increasing tensile strain *** is found that the direction of microcrack propagation can be changed by the presence of the annealing twins during the tensile deformation,and it causes the increasing of the plastic deformation energy and delay of the fracture,which is considered as the reason for the increasing the ductility.

In order to optimize the Castex process of AS wire, the systematic experiments have been done for different process parameters with self-made DZJ-II 350 Castex machine. The parameters, such as casting temperature of aluminum, flow of cooling water, extrusion ratio and the gap between the surface of wheel and that of the mould, have been mainly studied. The results show that with the increase of casting temperature or rotating speed of wheel the measured length of liquid metal zone increases too. However, the length of liquid metal zone decreases with the increase of the flow of cooling water. Moreover, the relationship between the extrusion ratio and the extrusion power is studied.

The electrochemical properties of spinel compound LiNi0.5Mn1.2Ti0.3O4 were investigated in this *** chemicals LiAc·2H2O,Mn（Ac）2·2H2O,Ni（Ac）2·4H2O,and Ti（OCH3）4 were used to synthesize LiNi0.5Mn1.2Ti0.3O4 by a simple sol-gel *** discharge capacity of the sample reached 134 mAh/g at a current rate of *** first and fifth cycle voltammogram almost overlapped,which showed that the prepared sample LiNi0.5Mn1.2Ti0.3O4 had excellent good cycle *** were two oxidation peaks at 4.21 V and 4.86 V,and two reduction peaks at 4.55 V and 3.88 V in the cycle voltammogram,*** electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and its fitted result,the lithium ion diffusion coefficient was measured to be approximately 7.76 × 10？11 cm2/s.

This paper addressed the international transferring t endency of manufacturing industry one by one as follows: (1) The developed count ries realize manufacturing industry structure upgrade reling on worldwide tr ansference not only domestic transference. On one hand, the TNCs make cross-inv estments, transnational merger & acquisition so as to achieve the optimum colloc ation of R&D resources, and obtain innovation in knowledge and technology. On th e other hand, the developed countries transfer labor and resource intensive indu stry as well as the labor-intensive link of the production chain in highly tech nology industry to the developing countries, to make their industrial structure escalation. (2) The adjustment and upgrade of manufacturing industry presents "m ulti-step type". First, the object of international transference substitutes th e capital-intensive industry and maturing industry with complicate technique fo r the industry with labor-intensive, simple technique or higher pollution, or s ubstitutes non-core complex technological procedure and parts and components fo r assembly in manufacturing process. Secondly, technology transference forms "br ain-hand and foot" pattern, i.e. the developed countries are increasingly p aying more and more attention to the research and control of core technology, th us transferring simple technique and labor-intensive procedure in higher scienc e and technology. Thirdly, the developed countries begins to transfer both capit al and technology intensive production, as well as transfer certain procedures i n higher technology production process to a few developing countries, even t o transfer parts of R & D to developing countries. (3) TNCs promote the global m anufacturing network (GMN) by recombination and transfer.
