Acute pancreatitis as a complication of acute COVID-19 in kidney transplant recipients

In order to explore social disability of the alcohol-related offence and to investigate the relationship between social disability and criminal responsibility,we conducted a statistic analysis between the two groups of drunkenness （Abbreviation for D）（72 cases） and chronic alcoholism（Abbreviation for CA）（3. cases）. In the study,we applied the forensic psychiatric expertise registration scale and social disability screening schedule （SDSS）. The rate of social disability of D was 41.7%,and the rate of CA was 82.4%.There were statistic disparity between the two groups in the score of SDSS. After logistic regression analysis,we found that occupation,work,social withdrawal,family function,responsibility,planning were correlate with criminal responsibility. The CA’s score of all items of SDSS was higher than the D’s except the item of interest and care. Occupation and work,social withdrawal,family function,responsibility,planning affected the assessment of criminal responsibility.

The Chinese Society of Critical Care medicine(CSCCM)has developed clinical practice guidelines for nutrition assessment and monitoring for patients in adult intensive care units(ICUs)in *** guideline focuses on nutrition evaluation and metabolic monitoring to achieve optimal and personalized nutrition therapy for critically ill *** guideline was developed by experts in critical care medicine and evidence-based medicine methodology and was developed after a thorough review of the system and a summary of relevant trials or studies published from 2000 to July 2023.A total of 18 recommendations were formed and consensus was reached through discussions and reviews by expert groups in critical care medicine,parenteral and enteral nutrition,and *** recommendations are based on currently available evidence and cover several key fields,including screening and assessment,evaluation and assessment of enteral feeding intolerance,metabolic and nutritional measurement and monitoring during nutrition therapy,and organ function evaluation related to nutrition *** question was analyzed according to the Population,Intervention,Comparison,and Outcome(PICO)*** addition,interpretations were provided for four questions that did not reach a consensus but may have potential clinical and research *** plan is to update this nutrition assessment and monitoring guideline using the international guideline update method within 3.5 years.

AIM: To study the effects of actinomycin D on subcellular distribution of nucleolar protein fibrillarin in HEp-2 (human esophageal epithelial type 2) cells, and molecular mechanisms for maintenance of fibrillarin in nucleolus. METHODS: Indirect immunofluorescence assay was employed to investigate subcellular distribution of nucleolar protein fibrillarin and immunoblotting analysis was used to detect the total cellular amount of fibrillarin. RESULTS: Control cells with no drug treatment showed bright clumpy nucleolar staining, which indicated that fibrillarin decorated the nucleolus only. Treatment with actinomycin D caused dislocation of fibrillarin from nucleoli to nucleoplasm with numerous stained small nucleoplasmic entities. Immunoblotting showed that neither total cellular amount of fibrillarin nor the integrity of fibrillarin was changed upon the treatment. The dislocation of fibrillarin in cells treated at a lower concentration (0.05 mg/L) of actinomycin D, was totally reversible after removal of the drug from the medium. However, this reversion was not observed at a high drug concentration (1 mg/L). CONCLUSION: Actinomycin D induced dislocation of fibrillarin from nucleoli to nucleoplasm in HEp-2 cells. The retention of fibrillarin within the nucleolus was related to active RNA synthesis.
