A series of iron-based composite coatings were fabricated by using plasma transferred arc weld surfacing process with externally longitudinal magnetic *** microstructure,microhardness of these coatings were characterized by using optical micrograph（OM）,scanning electron micrograph（SEM）,energy dispersive X-ray analysis（EDS）,X-ray diffraction（XRD）,Rockwell microhardness *** wear resistance of the coatings was evaluated by using wet sand rubber wheel abrasion *** results showed that,when the magnetic filed was not applied,the strip-like and hexagonal-like（Fe,Cr）7C3 carbides with a small volume fraction were non-uniformly distributed in the ***,when the magnetic filed was applied,the microstructure of the coating was mainly γ-Fe as the matrix which was reinforced by strip-like or hexagonal-like（Fe,Cr）7C3 and Cr7C3 *** increasing the magnetic current,the amount of hexagonal-like（Fe,Cr）7C3 carbide reinforced phase increased firstly,reached a local maximum,and then *** local maximum of reinforced phase was found when the magnitude of the magnetic current was *** such a case,the hard phases in the coatings were uniformly distributed and the excellent abrasive wear resistance would be *** further increasing the magnetic current,it was interesting to find that many agglomerated particles existed in the *** main constituent phase of the agglomerated particles was（Fe,Cr）7C3 *** existence of the agglomerated microstructure was harmful to the mechanical properties of the coatings,resulting in increment of the wear weight loss.

In this paper,NiCr-Cr3C2 coating was deposited onto AISI 1045 steel substrate by employing supersonic plasma spraying *** surface and cross-section morphologies of the NiCr-Cr3C2 coating were observed by *** phase constituents of the coating were identified by *** SEM images showed that the coating was very dense,and it had a low porosity *** XRD pattern implied that the coating was mainly composed of NiCr,Cr3C2 and *** tests were performed on the coating surface by a Nano *** widely used Oliver-Pharr method was adopted to extract the mechanical properties of the *** hardness exhibited a strong peak-load-dependence,*** size effect;the elastic modulus was not affected by indentation size effect.

Under high pressure, the long believed single-phase material CaB6 was latterly discovered to have a new phase tI56. Based on the density-functional theory, the pressure effects on the structural and elastic properties of CaB6 are obtained. The calculated bulk, shear, and Young’s moduli of the recently synthesized high pressure phase tI56-CaB6 are larger than those of the low pressure phase. Moreover, the high pressure phase of CaB6 has ductile behaviors, and its ductility increases with the increase of pressure. On the contrary, the calculated results indicate that the low pressure phase of CaB6 is brittle. The calculated Debye temperature indicates that the thermal conductivity of CaB6 is not very good. Furthermore, based on the Christoffel equation, the slowness surface of the acoustic waves is obtained.

Nickel and silicon dioxide nanoparticle composite coatings were prepared by brush plating with direct and pulse *** surface morphology,microstructure,hardness and wear resistance of the coatings were investigated by scanning electron microscope(SEM),transmission electron microscope(TEM),mirohardness tester and ball-on-disk *** results show that the technical parameters,pulse current,duty circle and frequency,are of great influence on the growth of crystalline and properties of the *** with the coating plated with direct current,the coatings plated with pulse currents have smaller nanocrystalline,contain more SiO2 nanoparticle and have higher hardness and wear resistance.

Iron aluminide intermetallic coatings were prepared from Fe-Al/Cr3C2 cored wires using High Velocity Are Spraying （ HVAS ） technology. Erosion and corrosion properties of HVAS sprayed Fe-Al/Cr3C2 coatings were investigated. Results show that the erosion at impingement angle of 30°is more than that of 90°. The erosion resistance of coatings was enhanced uith the inereaase of temperature. Coatings had a better erosion resislance than substrwles. The erosion changed from ductile behariors to brittle behaviors above 450℃ . At high temperature, the erosion resistances were superior to those at low temperwlure and roonl temperwlure. Cowlings had much higher corrosion properties than substrates. The temperature had a little effect on the corrosion resistance of coatings ; The corrosion losing of cowlings increased slowly with the increase of corrosion time. The HVAS-sprayed Fe-Al/Cr3C2 coatings exhibited a high bond strength and hardness.

The Annual Report on Cardiovascular Health and Diseases in china(2022)intricate landscape of cardiovascular health in *** is the third section of the report with a specific focus on community-based prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases(CVD).This section of the report underscores the importance of initiatives outlined in the"Healthy china 2030 Plan,"emphasizing the comprehensive prevention and control strategy for chronic diseases.A key aspect of this plan involves the establishment of national demonstration areas aimed at comprehensive prevention and control of chronic *** 2020,488 such areas had been set up across china,surpassing the initial target and covering a significant proportion of counties and *** report highlights the successful implementation of these strategies in Lishan district,Anshan city,where demonstration areas for comprehensive prevention and control of chronic diseases were launched in *** the course of seven years,the number of healthy units increased substantially,leading to improvements in managing risk factors for CVD among *** reductions in prevalence rates of overweight,obesity,smoking,passive smoking,and drinking were observed,along with the development of healthier behaviors among ***,Qiaokou district in Wuhan City,designated as a national demonstration area in 2014,implemented comprehensive public health promotion ***,special clinics for hypertension intervention were established,contributing to an increase in self-reported rates of hypertension,a slight decrease in prevalence,and a remarkable improvement in the control rate among treated ***,these efforts underscore the effectiveness of community-based approaches in driving positive health outcomes and advancing the comprehensive prevention and control of chronic diseases,particularly cardiovascular diseases,in china.

Some historical records, which have held since the beginning of modern solar activity cycles, are being broken by the present Sun： cycle 23 records the longest cycle length and fall time; latitudes of high-latitude sunspots belonging to a new cycle around the minimum time of the cycle are statistically the lowest at present, compared with those of other cycles; there are only one or no sunspots in a month appearing at high latitudes for 58 months, which is the first time that such a long duration has been observed. The solar dynamo is believed to be slowing down due to：（1） the minimum smoothed monthly mean sunspot number is the smallest since cycle 16 onwards, and even probably among all modern solar cycles; and （2） once the time interval between the first observations of two neighboring sunspot groups is larger than 14 d, it should be approximately regarded as an observation of no sunspots on the visible solar disk, called a spotless event. Spotless events occur with the highest frequency around the minimum time of cycle 24, and the longest spotless event also appears around the minimum time for observations of the Sun since cycle 16. Cycle 24 is expected to have the lowest level of sunspot activity from cycle 16 onwards and even probably for all of the modern solar cycles.
