Correlation between fragmented QRS and the short-term prognosis of patients with acute myocardial infarction

This study is aimed to investigate the clinical significance and the short-term prognostic value of frag- mented QRS （fQRS） for patients with acute myocardial infarction （AMI）. Three hundred patients with AMI were tested with retrospective analysis on the patients＇ clinical information, hospitalized treatment, fQRS onset time, location of lesions, and other relevant data, in order to assess the relationship between the presence of fQRS and its prognosis. The rates of malignant cardiac arrhythmia, left ventricular systolic dysfunction （LVSD）, and mortality in the positive fQRS group were 13.6%, 29.2%, and 23.7%, respectively, with all showing a p value 〈0.05. For the ST segment elevation myocardial infarction （STEMI） subgroup, all the rates showed significant differences with a p value 〈0.01, while for the non-STEMI （NSTEMI） subgroup showed no significant differences. In patients with a positive fQRS, there were no differences in malignant cardiac arrhythmia between patients with and without percutaneous coronary in- tervention （PCI）（p〉0.05）. As for the LVSD and mortality, the p values between patients with and without PCI were 0.031 and 0.000, respectively, suggesting statistical significance. The results imply that AMI patients with positive fQRS especially for the patients with STEMI had higher rates of malignant cardiac arrhythmia, LVSD, and mortality than the non-fQRS group. Patients of AMI with positive fQRS, who underwent early revascularization, could lower the incidence of the cardiovascular event. In addition, the presence of fQRS could be used as an indication of early in- tervention treatment for patients.

Acute myocardial infarction （AMI） has a high mortality rate and poor prognosis for patients. The primary causes of death are arrhythmia and heart failure. For patients admitted because of myocardial infarction, various risk evaluations are initiated to foresee possible complications. The thrombolysis in myocardial infarction （TIMI） risk score, which can be used to predict the prognosis and the need for revas-cularisation, is the most convenient and commonly used system, but is inadequate for AMI patients on admittance. Fragmented QRS （fQRS） has been shown to be a valuable electrocardiographic （ECG） index for predicting the prognosis of patients with coronary heart disease （Das et al., 2006, 2007）.

Soluble receptor for advanced glycation end products(sRAGE)acts as a decoy sequestering of RAGE ligands,thus preventing the activation of the ligand-RAGE axis linking human ***,the molecular mechanisms underlying sRAGE remain *** this study,THP-1 monocytes were cultured in normal glucose(NG,5.5 mmol/L)and high glucose(HG,15 mmol/L)to investigate the effects of diabetesrelevant glucose concentrations on sRAGE and interleukin-1β(IL-1β)*** modulatory effects of epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG)in response to HG challenge were also *** enhanced intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS)generation and RAGE *** secretion of sRAGE,including esRAGE and cRAGE,was reduced under HG conditions,together with the downregulation of a disintegrin and metallopeptidase 10(ADAM10)and nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2)nuclear ***,the HG effects were counteracted by siRAGE and exacerbated by *** immunoprecipitation results showed that Nrf2 binding to the ADAM10 promoter and HG interfered with this *** data reinforce the notion that RAGE and Nrf2 might be sRAGE-regulating *** HG conditions,the treatment of EGCG reduced ROS generation and RAGE ***-stimulated cRAGE release was likely caused by the upregulation of the Nrf2-ADAM10 *** inhibited HG-mediated NLRP3 inflammasome activation at least partly by stimulating sRAGE,thereby reducing IL-1βrelease.

利用中国气象局发布的《区域性重要过程检测和评价业务规定》中对省级区域性暴雨过程的统计数据,NOAA气候预测中心降水、向外长波辐射(OLR)资料以及ERA-Interim再分析资料,探讨了10—20 d和30—60 d两类低频振荡对华南前汛期持续性暴雨的相对重要性,并基于尺度分离的水汽方程和垂直速度方程诊断了相关物理机制。结果表明,10—20 d准双周振荡对暴雨强度的影响较为显著,而30—60 d季节内振荡与暴雨持续时间相关较高,表明持续性暴雨事件与低频降水的发生和演变关系密切。通过对低频降水的热力和动力过程诊断,发现10—20 d低频降水的水汽来源主要为水汽平流过程,而导致水汽平流正距平的主要原因是10—20 d风场和背景水汽场的相互作用;而对于30—60 d低频降水而言,水汽平流和水汽辐合均为扰动水汽的累积做正贡献,但其中水汽平流更加重要,其主要来源于平均风场和30—60 d水汽场的相互作用。有利于两类低频降水发生的动力条件,即垂直上升运动,其主要源于平均风场和扰动涡度场相互作用引发的垂直涡度平流梯度。以上结果显示,提高模式中低频振荡与季节平均状态尺度相互作用的刻画能力,是改进预报持续性暴雨的关键。

A new family of explicit pseudodynamic algorithms is proposed for general pseudodynamic testing. One particular subfamily seems very promising for use in general pseudodynamic testing since the stability problem for a structure does not need to be considered. This is because this subfamily is unconditionally stable for any instantaneous stiffness softening system, linear elastic system and instantaneous stiffness hardening system that might occur in the pseudodynamic testing of a real structure. In addition, it also offers good accuracy when compared to a general second-order accurate method for both linear elastic and nonlinear systems.

Numerical properties of the time integration method proposed by the first author of this paper in 2007 are the same as those of the constant average acceleration method （AAM） for linear elastic systems, except that the capability to capture dynamic loading was not explored. It was found that there were different quadrature equations to predict the next step displacement increment. A modified quadrature equation of this method was derived so that the equation to determine the next step displacement was numerically equivalent to the equation used in the constant AAM. It was verified that the original form of this method, in general, had a better capability to capture dynamic loadings than the constant AAM. This excellent property, in addition to computational efficiency, will help to make this method competitive with general secondorder accurate integration methods.

Surface energy balance and the partitioning of sensible heat flux(SHF) and latent heat flux(LHF) play key roles in land–atmosphere feedback. However,the lack of long-term observations of surface energy fluxes,not to mention spatially extensive ones,limits our understanding of how the surface energy distribution has responded to a warming climate over recent decades(1979–2009) at the national scale in china. Using four state-of-the-art reanalysis products with long-term surface energy outputs,we identified robust changes in surface energy partitioning,defined by the Bowen ratio(BR = SHF/LHF),over different climate regimes in china. Over the past three decades,the net radiation showed an increasing trend over almost the whole of china. The increase in available radiative energy flux,however,was balanced by differential partitioning of surface turbulent fluxes,determined by local hydrological conditions. In semi-arid areas,such as Northeast china,the radiative energy was transferred largely into SHF. A severe deficiency in near-surface and soil moistures led to a significant decreasing trend in LHF. The combined effect of increased SHF and decreased LHF resulted in significant upward trends in the BR and surface warming over Northeast china. In contrast,in the wet monsoon regions,such as southern china,increased downward net radiation favored a rise in LHF rather than in SHF,leading to a significant decreasing trend in the BR. Meanwhile,the increased LHF partly cancelled out the surface warming. The warming trend in southern china was smaller than that in Northeast china. In addition to impacts on heat-related events,the changes in the BR also reflected recent cases of extreme drought in china. Our results indicate that information regarding the BR may be valuable for drought monitoring,especially in regions prone to such conditions.

This paper presents a handheld 3D vision-based scanner for small objects by using Kinect. It is different from the previous color-glove-based approaches which require segmenting the target object. First, we eliminate the noises and the outliers caused by holding hands. Second, we apply Kinect-fusion algorithm and truncated signed distance function （TSDF） to represent 3D surfaces. Third, we propose a modified integration strategy to eliminate the hand effect. Fourth, we take advantage of the parallel computation of GPUs for real-time operation. The major contributions of this paper are （1） the registration precision is improved, （2） the oflline amendment and loop closure operation are not required, and （3） concave 3D object reconstruction is feasible.

In this review article,we pay primary attention to innovative works in the Madden–Julian Oscillation(MJO)field done by chinese *** historical aspect of discovery of the MJO and earlier studies of its dynamics by chinese scientists are first *** is followed by the description of recent advances in MJO propagation and initiation *** MJO eastward propagation,two types of the moisture mode theory are *** first one emphasizes the effect of zonal asymmetry of perturbation moisture in the atmospheric boundary layer and the second one emphasizes the zonal asymmetry of column integrated moisture static energy(MSE)*** mechanisms for MJO initiation over the western Indian Ocean include three distinctive processes:lower tropospheric moistening due to horizontal advection caused by preceding suppressed-phase MJO,midlatitude Rossby wave activity flux convergence in the upper troposphere originated from the Southern Hemisphere,and a delayed sea surface temperature feedback in association with a preceding opposite-phase *** impacts of MJO on low-frequency variability of precipitation and temperature and associated extreme events in East Asia are also discussed.
