Autologous chondrocytes(C cells)are effective sources of cell therapy for engineering cartilage tissue to repair chondral defects,such as degenerative *** expansion of cells with C cell characteristics has become a major challenge due to inadequate donor sites and poor proliferation of mature C *** perichondrial progenitor cells(P cells)from the cambium layer of the perichondrium possessed significantly higher mesenchymal stem cell markers than C *** the transwell co-culture system,P cells increased the passaging capacity of C cells from P6 to P9,and the cell number increased 128 *** system increased the percentage of Alcian blue-positive C cells from 40%in P6 to 62%in P9,contributing about 198 times more Alcian blue-positive C cells than the control group.C cells co-cultured with P cells also exhibited higher proliferation than C cells cultured with P cellconditioned *** results were obtained in nude mice that were subcutaneously implanted with C cells,P cells or a mixture of the two cell types,in which the presence of both cells enhanced neocartilage formation in ***,P cells enhanced the proliferation of C cells in a dose–dependent manner and prolonged the longevity of mature C cells for clinical applications.

Background: Despite advances in revascularization and thrombolytic therapy, the outcome of patients after acute myocardial infarction (MI) could be complicated by ischemia reperfusion injury (IRI) and subsequent ventricular remodeling. Inflammation plays a central role in IRI. Intralipid® has been shown to reduce infarct size after IRI, but its effects on myocardial inflammation have not been addressed. The goal of this study is to investigate the effects of Intralipid® on in-situ myocardial inflammation and to better characterize its cardio-protective effects. Methods and Results: Cellular MRI was used to evaluate myocardial inflammation of iron-oxide-labeled macrophage infiltration. Cardiac MRI was used to evaluate global and regional ventricular wall motion, as well as myocardial perfusion and infarction in a rat model. Our results show that the Intralipid® treatment following IRI can preserve global and regional ventricular wall motion, and reduce the infarct size. The In-tralipid®-treated rats exhibit reduced myocardial macrophage infiltration, indicating reduced in-situ myocardial inflammation. Conclusions: Our results indicate that the Intralipid® treatment can protect the heart against IRI and can specifically reduce in-situ myocardial inflammation. Additional study is needed to assess if treatment using Intralipid® after LAD occlusion could improve the recovery of patients suffering from a heart attack and also reduce future development of heart failure.

你应试着去体现固有的意义。因此,要贴近意义并进行构建。"[--阿尔多·凡·艾克1]这个项目是一段带有目的的关于空间序列、墙以及场所的思考。1空间序列项目的建设用地经过多轮考量后,业主最终选择了一块位于地下人防和停车场之上1.45 hm~2大的地块,北侧近社区会所旁的丁字路口,西北侧为保护林地,南侧紧邻高密度的居住区。这块位于道路西侧横置的不规则地块直面道路另一侧的滨海酒店。在这样复杂的用地条件下,马会和社区居民的关系该是如何?它不该只是为爱马人士和在里面生活的马匹而设计,成为一个孤立于社区日常生活外的"孤岛"。

Octameric hemoglobins have been developed by the introduction of surface cysteines in either the alpha or beta chain. Originally designed as a blood substitute, we report here the structure and ligand binding function;in addition the interaction with haptoglobin was studied. The recombinant Hbs (rHbs) with mutations alpha Asn78Cys or beta Gly83Cys spontaneously form octamers under conditions where the cysteines are oxidized. Oxygen binding curves and CO kinetic studies indicate a correct allosteric transition of the tetramers within the octamer. Crystallographic studies of the two rHbs show two disulfide bonds per octamer. Reducing agents may provoke dissociation to tetramers, but the octamers are stable when mixed with fresh human plasma, indicating that the reduction by plasma is slower than the oxidation by the dissolved oxygen, consistent with an enhanced stability. The octameric rHbs were also mixed with a solution of haptoglobin (Hp), which binds the dimers of Hb: there was little interaction for incubation times of 15 min;however, on longer timescales a complex was formed. Dynamic light scattering was used to follow the interaction of Hp with the alpha Asn78Cys octamer during 24 hours;a transition from a simple complex of 15 nm to a final size of 60 nm was observed. The results indicate a specific orientation of the αβ dimers may be of importance for the binding to haptoglobin.
