From a perspective of chinese medicine （CM）, persons with unregulated ＂unhealthy＂ body constitution （BC） will further develop chronic diseases, such as diabetes mellitus （DM）. Conventional dietary therapy with nutrition component has its limitations in the regulation of ＂unhealthy＂ BC. however, empirical evidence supports that ＂unhealthy＂ BC can be regulated with food natures and flavors from a perspective of CM. Presentations of ＂unhealthy＂ BC types, such as Yin-deficiency, Yang-deficiency and Yin-Yangdeficiency were found in persons with DM. It would be necessary to regulate the ＂unhealthy＂ BC presentations with integration of conventional dietary therapy and chinese food therapy. The ultimate goal is to either stabilize glycaemic control or prevent the development of other chronic diseases leading to reduction of disease burden, such as disease-related poor quality of life, stress of healthcare professionals and the rising of healthcare cost.

BACKGROUND Exosomes are microvesicles, measuring 30-100 nm in diameter. They are widely distributed in body fluids, including blood, bile, urine and saliva. Cancer-derived exosomes carry a wide variety of DNA, RNA, proteins and lipids, and may serve as novel biomarkers in *** To summarize the performance of exosomal biomarkers in cancer diagnosis and *** Relevant publications in the literature were identified by search of the "PubMed"database up to September 11, 2018. The quality of the included studies was assessed by QUADAS-2 and REMARK. For assessment of diagnostic biomarkers,47 biomarkers and 2240 patients from 30 studies were *** Our results suggested that these exosomal biomarkers had excellent diagnostic ability in various types of cancer, with good sensitivity and specificity. Aerosol retrieval algorithms for the MODerate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) have been developed to estimate aerosol and microphysical properties of the atmosphere, which help to address aerosol climatic issues at global scale. however, higher spatial resolution aerosol products for urban areas have not been well researched mainly due to the difficulty of differentiating aerosols from bright surfaces in urban areas. Here, a new aerosol retrieval algorithm using the MODIS 500 m resolution images is described, to retrieve aerosol properties over hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta region. The rationale of our technique is to first estimate the aerosol reflectance by decomposing the top-of-atmosphere reflectance from surface reflectance and Rayleigh path reflectance. For the determination of surface reflectance, a modified Minimum Reflectance Technique (MRT) is used, and MRT images are computed for different seasons. A strong correlation is shown between the surface reflectance of MRT images and MODIS land surface reflectance products (MOD09), with a value of 0.9. For conversion of aerosol reflectance to Aerosol Optical Thickness (AOT), comprehensive Look Up Tables (LUT) are constructed, in which aerosol properties and sun-viewing geometry in the radiative transfer calculations are taken into account. Four aerosol types, namely mixed urban, polluted urban, dust, and heavy pollution, were derived using cluster analysis on three years of AERONET measurements in hong Kong. Their aerosol properties were input for LUT calculation. The resulting 500 m AOT images are highly correlated (r = 0.89) with AERONET sunphotometer observations in hong Kong. This study demonstrates the applicability of aerosol retrieval at fine resolution scale in urban areas, which can assist the study of aerosol loading distribution and the impact of localized and transient pollution on urban air quality. Engine spark ignition is an important source for diagnosis of engine *** on the waveform of the ignition pattern,a mechanic can guess what may be the potential malfunctioning parts of an engine with his/her experience and ***,this manual diagnostic method is imprecise because many spark ignition patterns are very ***,a diagnosis needs many trials to identify the malfunctioning *** the mechanic needs to disassemble and assemble the engine parts for *** tackle this problem,an intelligent diagnosis system was established based on ignition ***,the captured patterns were normalized and *** wavelet packet transform（WPT） was employed to extract the representative features of the ignition ***,a classification system was constructed by using multi-class support vector machines（SVM） and the extracted *** classification system can intelligently classify the most likely engine fault so as to reduce the number of diagnosis *** results show that SVM produces higher diagnosis accuracy than the traditional multilayer feedforward neural *** is the first trial on the combination of WPT and SVM to analyze ignition patterns and diagnose automotive engines.

It is largely unknown whether lower urinary tract symptoms(LUTS)or acute retention of urine(AROU)is linked to shorter life expectancy in *** conducted a multicenter,retrospective database analysis of patients undergoing transurethral resection of prostate(TURP)to study their *** Cox regression analysis and Kaplan-Meier analysis with stratification to age and indication of TURP were *** further performed an age-and sex-matched survival analysis with the general population using data from the Census and Statistics Department of the hong Kong Special Administrative Region(hong Kong,china).From January 2002 to December 2012,3496 patients undergoing TURP were included in our study,with 1764 patients in the LUTS group and 1732 patients in the AROU *** age,ischemic heart disease,cerebrovascular accident,and AROU were risk factors of *** agedhose in the LUTS group,but such difference was not demonstrated in patients aged>80 *** to the general population,younger patients in the LUTS group appeared to have better survival(80 years,survival was similar with the general population in both the LUTS and AROU *** conclusion,AROU at young age was associated with mortality,while early detection and management of LUTS may improve survival.

Tea is a widespread functional plant *** such as tea polyphenols(TP)can interact with the intestinal flora and participate in regulating the expression and rhythm of biological clock *** rhythm controls a variety of behaviors and physiological processes,and circadian misalignment has been found to be closely related to multiple metabolic ***,the gut microbiota also has diurnal fluctuations,which can be affected by diet composition and feeding rhythm,and play a role in maintaining the host’s circadian *** two-way relationship between the host’s circadian rhythm and intestinal microbiota confirms the possibility that prebiotics or probiotic can be used to adjust the intestinal environment and microbiome composition to improve the host *** article reviews the relationship between the host’s circadian rhythm and microbiota and its influence on metabolic *** beneficial effects of the interaction between TP and gut microbiota on diseases related to rhythm disorders are emphasized to improve the theories of disease prevention and treatment.
