Radar quantitative precipitation estimation(QPE)is a key and challenging task for many designs and applications with meteorological *** the Z-R relation between radar and rain has a number of parameters on different areas,and the rainfall varies with seasons,the traditional methods are incapable of achieving high spatial and temporal resolution and thus difficult to obtain a refined rainfall *** paper proposes a radar quantitative precipitation estimation algorithm based on the spatiotemporal network model(ST-QPE),which designs a convolutional time-series network QPE-Net8 and a multi-scale feature fusion time-series network QPE-Net22 to address these *** report on our investigation into contrast reversal experiments with radar echo and rainfall data collected by the Hunan Meteorological *** results are verified and analyzed by using statistical and meteorological methods,and show that the ST-QPE model can inverse the rainfall information corresponding to the radar echo at a given moment,which provides practical guidance for accurate short-range precipitation nowcasting to prevent and mitigate disasters efficiently.

Postoperative tunnel enlargement has been frequently reported after anterior cruciate ligament（ACL）*** screw,as a surgical implant in ACL reconstruction,may influence natural loading transmission and contribute to tunnel *** aims of this study are（1）to quantify the alteration of strain energy density（SED）distribution after the anatomic single-bundle ACL reconstruction;and（2）to characterize the influence of screw length and diameter on the degree of the SED alteration.A validated finite element model of human knee joint was *** screw length ranging from 20 to 30 mm with screw diameter ranging from 7 to 9 mm were *** the post-operative knee,the SED increased steeply at the extra-articular tunnel aperture under compressive and complex loadings,whereas the SED decreased beneath the screw shaft and nearby the intra-articular tunnel *** the screw length could lower the SED deprivation in the proximal part of the bone tunnel;whereas increasing either screw length or diameter could aggravate the SED deprivation in the distal part of the bone *** the elastic modulus of the screw could lower the bone SED deprivation around the *** consideration of both graft stability and SED alteration,a biodegradable interference screw with a long length is recommended,which could provide a beneficial mechanical environment at the distal part of the tunnel,and meanwhile decrease the bone-graft motion and synovial fluid propagation at the proximal part of the *** findings together with the clinical and histological factors could help to improve surgical outcome,and serve as a preliminary knowledge for the following study of biodegradable interference screw.

To investigate the prevalence, correlates, attitude and treatment seeking behavior of erectile dysfunction （ED） in type 2 diabetes mellitus （T2DM） patients in the primary care setting, a multi-center cross-sectional survey using a structured anonymous self-administered questionnaire was performed in 10 general outpatient clinics. Of the 603 subjects （91% response rate）, the prevalence of ED men, as defined by the International Index of Erectile Function, was 79.1%. Most subjects had mild ED （28.9%）, followed by mild-to-moderate ED （27.9%）, then moderate ED （13.4%） and severe ED （9%）. Nearly 55% of those with ED did not consider themselves as having ED. Less than 10% of them had ever sought medical treatment, although 76.1% of them wished to receive management from doctor（s） should they be diagnosed with ED. They considered the most important management from doctors to be clinical assessment （41.7%）, followed by management of potential underlying cause （37.8%）, referral to specialist （27.5%）, education （23.9%）, prescription of phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors （16.9%） and referral to ~：ounseling service （6.7%）. The prevalence of ED was strongly associated with subjects who thought they had ED （odds ratio （OR） = 90.49 （20.00-409.48, P 〈 0.001）） and were from the older age group （OR = 1.043 （1.011-1.076, P = 0.008））. In conclusion, ED is highly prevalent among T2DM men. The majority of them wanted management from doctors should they have ED, but only a minority would actually voice out the request. Screening of ED among T2DM men using structural questionnaire allowed the diagnosis of more than half of the ED cases, which otherwise would have gone undiagnosed.

Objective:To determine distribution of arthropods in rice grains obtained from different ***: Rice samples were randomly collected from public in urban areas,farmers in rice field areas,aborigines in undeveloped areas and retailers in commercial *** samples of rice were taken out from each sample for isolation of arthropods using a modified Berlese Tullgren Funnel *** were mounted prior to identification; weevils were directly ***:Samples of rice from retailers in commercial premises had the highest infestation by arthropods followed by samples from urbanites,aborigines and rice *** species of weevils,Sitophilus oryzae(***) and Sitophilus granarius(***),were *** from commercial premises had the least percentage of weevils compared to those collected from domestic premises. Depending on the source of samples,densities of *** and *** ranges from 11-103 weevils/ kg and 7- 80 weevils/kg,*** species of mites in stored rice identified were mainly members of the families Cheyletidae,Echimyopodidae,Pyroglyphidae,Saproglyphidae and *** the species of mites identified were Austroglycyphagus malaysiensis,Cheyletus fortis,Cheyletus malaccensis,Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus,Grammolichus malukuensis and Suidasia *** density of most of the mites was less than 40 mites/kg of rice *** this study,the highest number of mites in rice samples was recovered from commercial premises,followed by samples from *** from farmers and aborigines contained lesser ***:This study demonstrated the presence of 3 allergenic mite species in rice, i.e ***,*** and ***,*** and *** that are known to be allergenic,were also found.

The health safety of methylglyoxal(MGO) has been recognized as a key issue owing to its ultra-high reactivity toward some key biomolecules such as amino acids, proteins, DNA, sulfhydryl-and basic nitrogencontaining compounds, including amino-bearing neurotransmitters. In this review, we have summarized the endoand exogenous sources of MGO and its accumulation inside the body due to high intake, abnormal glucose metabolism and or malfunctioning glyoxalases, and review the debate concerning the adverse functionality of MGO ingested from foods. Higher than normal concentrations of MGO in the circulatory system and tissues have been found to be closely associated with the production of advanced glycation end products(AGEs), increased oxidative stress, elevated inflammation and RAGE(AGE receptors) activity, which subsequently progresses to a pathological stage of human health, such as diabetes complications, cancer, cardiovascular and degenerative diseases. Having illustrated the mechanisms of MGO trapping in vivo, we advocate the development of efficient and efficacious MGO scavengers, either assisting or enhancing the activity of endogenous glyoxalases to facilitate MGO removal, or providing phytochemicals and functional foods containing them, or pharmaceuticals to irreversibly bind MGO and thus form MGO-complexes that are cleared from the body.
