BACKGROUND In the development of coronary stent technology,bioresorbable scaffolds are promising milestones in improving the clinical treatment of coronary artery ***“leave nothing behind”motto is the premise of the fourth revolution in percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Studies proving the safety and efficacy of the magnesium-based resorbable scaffolds(MgBRSs)include the BIOSOLVE-I and BIOSOLVE-II trials and the latest BIOSOLVE-IV ***,spontaneous retrograde dissection of a partially absorbed MgBRS may still occur,albeit *** SUMMARY We describe an unusual case of coronary artery disease in a patient who had undergone a successful PCI 8 mo earlier,where an MgBRS was implanted into the left anterior descending artery(LAD)and left circumflex artery with drug-coated balloons for a ramus intermedius branch stenosis to achieve the“leave nothing behind”therapeutic intention and was currently presenting with a gradual worsening of chest *** distal edge vascular response,during subsequent attempts with balloon angioplasty was performed ***,spontaneous retrograde dissection of a partially absorbed MgBRS in the LAD *** bailout stenting was performed with revascularization of the entry and exit sites created by spontaneous dissection and complete sealing of the intramural *** patient recovered well and was discharged after 2 d of *** followed up in August 2020(7 mo later),the patient showed uneventful *** Spontaneous retrograde dissection of a partially absorbed MgBRS was successfully treated using bailout sirolimus-eluting coronary stent strategy.

Establishing the correlation between inter-cluster assembly and auxiliary ligands at the atomic level is crucial for the development of metal cluster *** this work,we report the successful preparation and characterization of three Ag clusters,discrete 0-D Ag_(51)S_(6)Cl_(3)(i PrS)_(21)(TsO)_(15)CH_(3)CN(0-D Ag_(51),i PrS–=isopropanethiolate,TsO–=toluenesulfonate),1-D{Ag_(38)S_(4)-(i PrS)_(18)(PhCOO)_(12)}n(1-D Ag_(38),PHCOO–=benzoate),and 2-D{Ag_(2)0(SO_(4))Cl_(2)(i PrS)10(NO_(3))6}n(2-D Ag_(20)),using a delicate auxiliary-ligand-induced *** analyses reveal that the types of auxiliary ligands can readily affect the structure and dimensionality of resulting Ag *** addition of different surface auxiliary ligands from TsO–to PhCOO–and then to NO_(3)–leads to the formation of 0-D Ag_(51) to 1-D Ag_(38) and then to 2-D Ag_(2)0 clusters under otherwise identical reaction conditions,*** resulting Ag clusters exhibited structure-related optical/luminescence properties and distinct bathochromic shifts as revealed by the temperature-dependent luminescence and single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies.

Pancreatic stent improves the success rate of needle-knife papillotomy in patients with difficult biliary cannulation

BACKGROUND Needle-knife precut papillotomy(NKP)is typically performed ***,it remains unclear whether pancreatic stent(PS)placement can improve the outcomes of *** To explore whether PS placement improves the success rate of NKP in patients with difficult biliary *** This single-center retrospective study included 190 patients who underwent NKP between January 2017 and December 2021 after failed conventional biliary *** cases with incidental pancreatic duct cannulation during conventional biliary cannulation,the decision for pre-NKP PS placement was made at the endoscopist's *** primary outcome was the difference in the NKP success rate between patients with and without PS placement;the secondary outcome was the adverse event *** Among the 190 participants,82 received pre-NKP PS(PS-NKP group)whereas 108 did not[freehand or freehand NKP(FH-NKP)group].Post-NKP selective biliary cannulation was successful in 167(87.9%)patients,and the PS-NKP had a significantly higher success rate than the FH-NKP group(93.9%vs 83.3%,P=0.027).The overall adverse event rates were 7.3%and 11.1%in the PS-NKP and FH-NKP groups,respectively(P=0.493).A periampullary diverticulum(PAD)and significant intraoperative bleeding during NKP were independently associated with NKP failure;however,a pre-NKP PS was the only predictor of NKP *** the 44 participants with PADs,the PS-NKP group had a non-significantly higher NKP success rate than the FH-NKP group(87.5%and 65%,respectively;P=0.076).CONCLUSION PS significantly improved the success rate of NKP in patients with difficult biliary cannulation.

Effect of order–disorder transition on thermodynamic and electronic properties of σ and χ phases in W–Re alloy: the first-principles calculation

The Tungsten-Rhenium(W-Re) alloys,celebrated for their high melting point,strength at elevated temperatures,electrical resistivity,and radiation resistance,have been widely utilized in high-temperature components,aerospace,electronics,and nuclear *** constituents of the topologically close-packed(TCP) phases,the sigma phase(σ) and chi phase(χ) formed within W-Re alloys wield considerable influence on the mechanical properties and the stability of the *** calculations were utilized in the present work to explore the structural,thermodynamic,and electronic properties of both ordered and disordered configurations within the σ and χ phases,culminating in a systematic elucidation of the higher phase stability exhibited by the ordered *** is found that the bulk modulus of these two phases is directly proportional to the concentration of Re in the alloy,while the equilibrium volume is inversely *** thermodynamic parameters of the σ and χ phases are calculated via the mean-field potential *** similar trends observed in the isobaric heat capacity,enthalpy increment,and entropy change curves for these two phases suggest they possess comparable thermodynamic *** is noteworthy that the contribution of ionic vibrations predominantly affects the isobaric heat capacity,while the contribution of thermal electronic excitations increases linearly with *** the structure and thermodynamic properties of TCP phases in W-Re alloys at low temperatures has profound significance for optimizing material performance,microstructures features,establishing theoretical foundations,and predicting material behavior.

The emerging altermagnetic RuO_(2)with both compensated magnetic moments and broken time-reversal symmetry possesses nontrivial magneto-electronic responses and nonrelativistic spin currents that are closely related to the magnetic easy *** M_(3)-edge X-ray magnetic linear dichroism(XMLD)measurements were performed to probe the Néel order in RuO_(2).For epitaxial RuO_(2) films,characteristic XMLD signals were observed for either RuO_(2)(100)or RuO_(2)(110)at normal incidence or RuO_(2)(001)at oblique *** signals disappeared when the test temperature exceeded the Néel *** non-epitaxial RuO_(2) films,the flat lines in the XMLD patterns of RuO_(2)(100)and RuO_(2)(110)demonstrate that there is no in-plane uniaxial alignment of the Néel order in these samples because of the counterbalanced Néel order of the twin crystals,as evidenced by X-ray diffraction phi-scan *** experimental results unambiguously demonstrate antiferromagnetism in RuO_(2) films and reveal the spatial relation of the Néel order parallel to the RuO_(2)[001]crystalline *** findings deepen the understanding of RuO_(2) and other attractive altermagnetic materials used in the field of spintronics.

Delay-dependent stability and added damping of SDOF real-time dynamic hybrid testing

It is well-recognized that a transfer system response delay that reduces the test stability inevitably exists in real-time dynamic hybrid testing （RTDHT）. This paper focuses on the delay-dependent stability and added damping of SDOF systems in RTDHT. The exponential delay term is transferred into a rational fraction by the Pad6 approximation, and the delay-dependent stability conditions and instability mechanism of SDOF RTDHT systems are investigated by the root locus technique. First, the stability conditions are discussed separately for the cases of stiffness, mass, and damping experimental substructure. The use of root locus plots shows that the added damping effect and instability mechanism for mass are different from those for stiffness. For the stiffness experimental substructure case, the instability results from the inherent mode because of an obvious negative damping effect of the delay. For the mass case, the delay introduces an equivalent positive damping into the inherent mode, and instability occurs at an added high frequency mode. Then, the compound stability condition is investigated for a general case and the results show that the mass ratio may have both upper and lower limits to remain stable. Finally, a high-emulational virtual shaking table model is built to validate the stability conclusions.
