This work presents result on yttrium-doped titanium dioxide(yTO) thin films using a cost-effective spray pyrolysis technique for the photoelectrocatalytic degradation of phthalic acid(PA) and benzoic acid(BA).The physicochemical properties of yTO thin films were studied using X-ray diffraction,raman spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,field-emission scanning electron microscopy,UV-vis spectroscopy,*** obtained results confirm the presence of yttrium in the host *** band bending and flat band positions were studied using Mott-Schottky *** film with 1% doping amount shows the highest degradation efficiency for both the model pollutants compared to TiO_(2).The stability of 1% yTO film confirms excellent performance analyzed by recycling tests using a UV-vis *** results highlight the significance of rare earth metal doping in TiO_(2)for improved photoelectrocatalytic degradation efficiency.

The aircraft aluminum 2024-T62 is shock-treated by pulsed laser with the same wavelength and different pulse durations. The laser parameters, arrangements of laser optics and strengthening effects are investigated. The optimal laser-shocking parameters, i.e., a pulse durotion (FWhM) of 30ns, shot spot 7 to 10mm in diameter and pulse energy of 15-20J are obtained under the condition that the Q modulation crystal is KD*P and the laser optical system has three amplification stages. Therefore, the fatigue life of aluminum specimens is increased greatly and the maximum increasement is 23. 7 times.

A conventional multi-pass rolling is designed to form different microstructures in a Mg-2Ag *** relationship between microstructure and mechanical property is *** result shows that twin-induced nucleation plays a prominent role for the dynamic recrystallization(DrX)behavior of the rolled Mg-2Ag *** DrXed grains distributed around elongated grains have random orientations but gradually turn to the concentrated orientation with strong basal texture when the rolling pass *** yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of rolled Mg-2Ag alloy gradually increase with increasing rolling *** elongation of rolled sample is gradually improved when the rolling pass increases from one to three,while a significant drop of elongation shows in the four-pass rolling *** strong basal texture,refined grains,high-density dislocations,and Ag segregation along grain boundaries are suggested to play a prominent role for enhancing the strength of Mg-Ag alloys,while the low-density dislocations,homogeneously fine-grained microstructure,and weak texture are critical for improving the ductility.

Computer networks and power transmission networks are treated as capacitated flow networks.A capacitated flow network may partially fail due to ***,the capacity of each edge should be optimally assigned to face critical situations-i.e.,to keep the network functioning normally in the case of failure at one or more *** robust design problem(rDP)in a capacitated flow network is to search for the minimum capacity assignment of each edge such that the network still survived even under the edge’s *** rDP is known as ***,capacity assignment problem subject to system reliability and total capacity constraints is studied in this *** problem is formulated mathematically,and a genetic algorithm is proposed to determine the optimal *** optimal solution found by the proposed algorithm is characterized by maximum reliability and minimum total *** numerical examples are presented to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed approach.

In the distributed networks,many applications send information from a source node to multiple destination *** support these applications requirements,the paper presents a multi-objective algorithm based on ant colonies to construct a multicast tree for data transmission in a computer *** proposed algorithm simultaneously optimizes total weight(cost,delay and hop)of the multicast *** results prove the proposed algorithm outperforms a recently published Multi-objective Multicast Algorithm specially designed for solving the multicast routing ***,it is able to find a better solution with fast convergence speed and high reliability.

Dynamic relaxation processes are fundamental to understand the mechanical and physical properties of metallic glasses. In the current work, mechanical relaxations in a La30Ce30Al15Co25 bulk metallic glass were probed by dynamic mechanical analysis. In contrast to many metallic glasses, La30Ce30Al15Co25 metallic glass shows a pronounced slow β relaxation peak. Physical aging below the glass transition temperature Tgleads to an increase of the apparent activation energy and a decrease of the slow β relaxation magnitude. The correlation between the slow β relaxation and the main α relaxation is discussed.

In this work, the effects of quantum confinement on the ground state energy of a correlated electron-hole pair in a spherical and in a disc-like quantum dot have been investigated as a function of quantum dot size. Under parabolic confinement potential and within effective mass approximation ritz＇s variational method is applied to hylleraas-like trial wavefunction. An efficient method for reducing the main effort of the calculation of terms like τekh exp （-λτeh） is introduced. The main contribution of the present work is the introduction of integral transforms which provide the calculation of expectation value of energy and the related matrix elements to be done analytically over single-particle coordinates instead of hvlleraas coordinates.

In this study,a two-step method was used to synthesize highly luminescent AgGaS/ZnS/ZnS quantum dots(QDs).In the first step,an inner ZnS shell was formed via a one-pot method,which resulted in a smaller lattice mismatch between the AgGaS core and the outer ZnS shell,thereby facilitating the formation of a thick outer *** the two-step shelling process,the synthesized AgGaS/ZnS/ZnS QDs showed an excellent photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQy)of 96.4%with a peak wavelength of 508 nm,repre-senting the highest PLQy reported thus far for AgGaS ***,the effect of halogen ions in Zn precursors on the shelling process was *** was proposed that the capacity of halogen ions to coordinate with the QDs influenced the balance between Zn cation diffusion and ZnS shelling ***,the ZnS shelling reaction was dominant when ZnCl_(2)was employed,while Zn cation diffusion was the dominant process under the I^(−)-rich *** work provides insights into the interfacial restructuring during the ZnS shelling and offers a clear map for the tailored synthesis of core/shell QDs.

In this work, we propose an efficient method of reducing the computational effort of variational calculation with a hylleraas-like trial wavefunction. The method consists of introducing integral transforms for the terms as r12^κ exp （-λτ12） which provide the calculation of the expectation value of energy and the relevant matrix elements to be done analytically over single-electron coordinates instead of hylleraas coordinates. We have used this method to calculate the ground state energy of a two-electron system in a spherical dot and a disk-like quantum dot separately. Under parabolic confinement potential and within effective mass approximation size and shape effects of quantum dots on the ground state energy of two electrons have been investigated. The calculation shows that our results even with a small number of basis states are in good agreement with previous theoretical results.
