Syntheses and Supramolecular Structures of Two Nickel（II） Compounds Based on Two Thiosemicarbazone ligands

Two new compounds, [Ni2（L1）（Py）6]Py·CH3OH（1） and [Ni3（LZ）2（PY）4]·2DMF（2）（H4L1=N,N＇-bisalicyl-bisthiocarbamide; H3L2=3-hydroxyl-2-naphthalene thiosemicarbazide; Py=pyridine; DMF=dimethyl fumarate）, based upon two thiosemicarbazone ligands have been obtained and characterized by elemental analysis, Fourier transform infrared（FTIR） and X-ray diffraetion（XRD）. Compound 1 possesses a binuclear cluster, in which the bisalicylbisthi- ocarbamide acts as a hexadentate bridge. Compound 2 exhibits a linear trinuclear cluster with the triply-deprotonated ligand acting as pentadentate bridge. C--H…O, C--H…π and C--…S weak interactions further link these molecules to form interesting supramolecular networks.

Background Down syndrome （DS） is the most common form of human aneuploidy, and there is no effective therapy for the chromosomal abnormalities. We aimed to unravel the molecular mechanisms underlying DS and to provide clues to prenatal screening. Methods A series of proteomics-based experiments was conducted using 19 patients with DS fetuses and 17 normal pregnancies. The proteome of placenta was investigated as displayed by two-dimensional difference gel electrophoresis （2D-DIGE）, and comparisons were made between placentas that developed under DS and normal pregnancy conditions. Multivariate analysis of the resulting protein patterns revealed DS-specific protein expression. Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization （MALDI） time-of-flight/time-of-flight （TOF/TOF） high-resolution tandem mass spectrometer （MS）-based identification was successful for 12 out of 17 selected protein spots. Results Among those, three proteins involved in the resist of reactive oxygen species （ROS） and neurogenesis were more abundant in the DS placenta （superoxide dismutase 1, endoplasmic reticulum protein 29 and heat shock protein beta-l）, while peroxiredoxin-6 involved in cell defense mechanism against ROS was expressed at a higher level in the normal pregnancies. Conclusion Knowledge of the DS placenta proteome emphasizes the role of proteins involved in anti-oxidation during DS, and may form the basis of a potential approach to minimize the incidence of DS in the clinical settina.

Morgagni＇s hernia is a rare type of diaphragmatic hernia. It is hardly developed to an incarceratedhernia. It is often misdiagnosed as pneumothorax or effusion. Computed tomography and upper GI contrast studies make contribution to the diagnosis. Transabdominal approach or laparoscopy and thoracoscopy are efficient therapies for the hernia.

Monitoring high-temperature vibrations is critical in aerospace engineering,industrial manufacturing,and energy production,where harsh conditions necessitate robust vibration sensors for detecting anomalous ***,the accuracy of such sensors is often compromised by crosstalk between temperature and vibration *** study introduces a high-temperature vibration sensor based on langasite(LGS)surface acoustic wave(SAW)technology,designed to withstand temperatures up to 500℃.The sensor demonstrates high sensitivity,ranging from 12.54 kHz/g at 25℃ to 15.63 k Hz/g at 500℃.A comprehensive mechanical and electrical coupling model for the SAW vibration sensor was developed by integrating theoretical equations with numerical simulations to optimize the sensor's ***,a novel decoupling algorithm for temperature and vibration was established,achieving thermomechanical decoupling with precise vibration *** results indicated a maximum relative deviation of 4.67%for the *** conclusion,the proposed LGS SAW vibration sensor emerges as a promising solution for the accurate detection of multiple parameters in high-temperature vibration monitoring.

Background:The catheter-tissue contact force(CF)is one of the significant determinants of lesion size and thus has a considerable impact on the effectiveness of ablation *** study aimed to evaluate the impact of CF on the lesion size during right ventricular outflow tract(RVOT)ablation in a swine ***:Twelve Guangxi Bama miniature male pigs weighing 40 to 50 kg were *** general anesthesia,a ThermoCool SmartTouch contact-sensing ablation catheter was introduced to the RVOT via the femoral vein under the guidance of the CARTO 3 *** local ventricular voltage amplitude and impedance were measured using different CF *** randomly divided the animals into the following four groups according to the different CF levels:group A(3–9 g);group B(10–19 g);group C(20–29 g);and group D(30–39 g).Radiofrequency ablations were performed at three points in the free wall and septum of the RVOT in power control mode at 30 W for 30 s while maintaining the saline irrigation rate at 17 mL/*** the end of the procedures,the maximum depth,surface diameter,and lesion volume were measured and recorded.A linear regression analysis was performed to determine the relationship between continuous ***:A total of 72 ablation lesions were created in the RVOT of the 12 Bama *** maximum depth,surface diameter,and volume of the lesions measured were well correlated with the CF(free wall:b=0.105,b=0.162,b=3.355,respectively,Plitude,unipolar voltage amplitude,and impedance were weakly positively associated with the CF(b=0.065,b=0.125,and b=1.054,respectively,P<0.001).There was a significant difference in the incidence of steam pops among groups A,B,C,and D(free wall:F=7.3,P=0.032;septum:F=10.5,P=0.009);and steam pops occurred only when the CF exceeded 20 ***-mural lesions were observed when the CF exceeded 10 g in the free wall,while the

Objective:To investigate the effect of SHU555A,a clinically approved iron nanoparticle,labeling on differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs) into neurocyte-like cells in ***:10 times dilution of 10μl,20μl,40μl and 80μl SHU555A were added to 2ml of culture medium containing rat BMSCs to obtain four experimental groups of SHU555A labeling of BMSCs with ferri ion concentrations of 14μg/ml,28μg/ml,56μg/ml and 112μg/ml,respectively.2ml of culture medium with rat BMSCs did not contain SHU555A served as control *** BMSCs of all the groups were pre-induced by bFGF,and induced by DMSO/butylated hydroxyanisole(BHA) for six hours,subsequently reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) technique was employed to detect mRNA expression of nestin,neuronspecific analase(NSE) and glial fibrillary acid protein(GFAP).Western blot technique was used to detectprotein expression of ***:Quantitative-PCR revealed high mRNA expression of nestin,NSE and GFAP induced by DMSO/BHA in all the experimental groups,but the difference between the experimental groups and the control group was not significant(P>0.05).Western blot analysis demonstrated there was no statistically significant difference in nestin protein expression between the experimental groups and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:SHU555A labeling do not affect differentiation of rat BMSCs into neurocyte-like cells in vitro.

BACKGROUND Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm(BPDCN)is a rare,highly invasive malignant *** is no universally accepted standard of care because of its rarity and the dearth of prospective *** is still challenging for some patients to achieve persistent clinical remission or cure,despite the success of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT),indicating that there is still a significant recurrence *** report a case of prevention of BPDCN allograft recurrence by azacitidine maintenance therapy and review the relevant *** SUMMARY We report a 41-year-old man with BPDCN who was admitted to hospital due to skin sclerosis for>5 mo’*** was diagnosed by combined clinical assessment and laboratory *** diagnosis,the patients underwent induction consolidation chemotherapy to achieve the first complete remission,followed by bridging ***-transplantation,azacitidine(75 mg/m2 for 7 d)was administered as maintenance therapy,with repeat administration every 4–6 wk and appropriate extension of the chemotherapy *** 10 cycles,the patient has been disease free for 26 mo after *** assessments of bone marrow morphology,minimal residual disease,full donor chimerism,Epstein–Barr virus,and cytomegalovirus all yielded normal results with no abnormalities *** Azacitidine may be a safe and effective maintenance treatment for BPDCN following transplantation because there were no overt adverse events during the course of treatment.

Dual-phase heterointerface electrocatalysts(DPHE)constructed by oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)-and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)-active elements exhibit excellent bifunctional activity and long-term durability due to the abundant interface exposure and synergistic catalytic ***,low-dimensional N-doped graphene nanoribbons(N-GNRs)coupling with ultrathin CoO nanocomposites(N-GNRs/CoO)were controllably fabricated through a facile two-step approach using synthesized Co(OH)_2 nanosheet as CoO *** functional theory(DFT)calculations and experimental characterizations prove that the formation of interface between N-GNRs and CoO can induce local charge redistribution,contributing to the improvement of catalytic activity and *** optimal N-GNRs/CoO DPHE possesses hierarchically porous architectures and presents outstanding bifunctional activities with a small potential gap of 0.729 V between the potential at 10 mA·cm^(-2)for OER and the halfwave potential for ORR,which outperforms Pt/C+IrO_(2)and the majority of noble-metal-free bifunctional ***-and solid-state rechargeable Zn-air batteries assembled with N-GNRs/CoO as the cathode also display high peak power density and fantastic cycle stability,superior to that of benchmark Pt/C+IrO_(2)*** is anticipated to offer significant benefits toward high activity,stability and mechanical flexibility bifunctional oxygen electrocatalysts for rechargeable Zn-air batteries.

Active anomaly detection queries labels of sampled instances and uses them to incrementally update the detection model,and has been widely adopted in detecting network ***,existing methods cannot achieve desirable performance on dynamic network traffic streams because(1)their query strategies cannot sample informative instances to make the detection model adapt to the evolving stream and(2)their model updating relies on limited query instances only and fails to leverage the enormous unlabeled instances on *** address these issues,we propose an active tree based model,adaptive and augmented active prior-knowledge forest(A3PF),for anomaly detection on network trafic streams.A prior-knowledge forest is constructed using prior knowledge of network attacks to find feature subspaces that better distinguish network anomalies from normal *** one hand,to make the model adapt to the evolving stream,a novel adaptive query strategy is designed to sample informative instances from two aspects:the changes in dynamic data distribution and the uncertainty of *** the other hand,based on the similarity of instances in the neighborhood,we devise an augmented update method to generate pseudo labels for the unlabeled neighbors of query instances,which enables usage of the enormous unlabeled instances during model *** experiments on two benchmarks,CIC-IDS2017 and UNSW-NB15,demonstrate that A3PF achieves significant improvements over previous active methods in terms of the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC-ROC)(20.9%and 21.5%)and the area under the precision-recall curve(AUC-PR)(44.6%and 64.1%).
