Dual modification of LiNi_(0.83)Co_(0.11)Mn_(0.06)O_(2) cathode materials by K^(+) doping and Li_(3)PO_(4) coating for lithium ions batteries

Li_(3)PO_(4)@Li_(0.99)K_(0.01)Ni_(0.83)Co_(0.11)Mn_(O.06)O_(2)(NCM-KP) cathode powders are synthesized via K^(+)doping in calcination processes and H_3PO_4 coating in sol-gel processes.K^(+) precisely enters into the lattice to widen the(003) plane to 0.4746 nm with a lower cationic disordered degree of 1.87%.Moreover,the surface residual lithium salts are treated by H_3PO_4 to generate a uniform Li_(3)PO_(4) coating layer of approximately 11.41 nm,which completely covers on the surface of secondary spherical particles to improve the interfacial *** 25℃,the NCM-KP electrode delivers a discharge specific capacity of 148.9 mAh·g^(-1) with a remarkable capacity retention ratio of 84.1% after 200 cycles at 1.0C and retains a high reversible specific capacity of 154.4 mAh·g^(-1) at *** at 1.0C and 60℃,it can maintain a reversible discharge specific capacity of 114.6 mAh·g^(-1) with 0.21% of capacity decay per cycle after 200 cycles,which is significantly lower than 0.40% for the pristine NCM ***,the charge transfer resistance of 238.89 Ω for the NCM-KP electrode is significantly lower than 947.41 Ω for the pristine NCM one by restricting the interfacial side ***,combining K+doping and Li_(3)PO_(4) coating is an effective strategy to enable the significant improvement of the electrochemical property of high-nickel cathode materials,which may be mainly attributed to the widened diffusion pathway and the formed Li_(3)PO_(4) protective layer,thus promoting Li~+diffusion rate and preventing the erosion of HF.

The most recent worldwide and Chinese technical standards and development trends for cast irons

Technical standards are important documents for the development, application and expansion of any engineering material. In the casting industry, technical standards are the premise for producing high quality castings and they provide tools for inspection and acceptance of castings, and aid both the purchaser and the producer. In this paper, the most recent worldwide and Chinese technical standards for SG iron, ADI, CGI and heat resisting iron castings are described. It can be seen that these Chinese national standards have reached the level of world class standards. This will be beneficial for enhancing the Chinese foundry industry, improving Chinese casting quality and aid the supply of good quality castings to China's own industry. It is also good for the international buyer to source castings in China, and for the Chinese casting producer to export castings to other parts of the world. Current development trends for cast irons are also discussed.

Effect of Cavity Decay on Entanglement of Ladder-Type Three-Level Atoms and a Two-Mode Cavity Field

Considering the adiabatical approximation and the large detuning condition, we give the effective Hamiltonian of a ladder-type three levels atom interacting with a bimodal cavity field. If two identical three-level atoms are sent through the cavity one by one, a two-atom entangled state can be generated. With the choice of the appropriate interaction time, a maximally entangled state of two atoms can be obtained if decoherence effect is ignored. Moreover, we discuss the effect of cavity decay on four physical quantities including atomic population probability, residual entanglement of the first atom and the cavity field, concurrence between the two atoms, and fidelity for generating atomic EPR state, all of which decrease with the increase of cavity decay when the other parameters are fixed.

Optical and gas sensing properties of mesoporous hollow ZnO microspheres fabricated via a solvothermal method

Mesoporous,hollow Zn O microspheres were synthesized via a hydrothermal method,using glycerol and zinc acetate as the starting *** and FESEM analysis showed that the surface morphology of the spheres with a Wurtzite structure could be reasonably adjusted by varying the weight ratio（Rw） of Zn（CH3COO）2 2H2O：H2O：*** responses of the gas sensor based on the spheres to 100 ppm ethanol and 100 ppm acetone are 18.9 and 10.4,*** response and recovery times of the sensor to ethanol and acetone are 2 s and 3 s,3 s and 5 s,*** hollow spheres show an intense UV emission at 392 nm and a broad blue-green emission at 488 ***,a light trapping phenomenon is revealed by UV emission and scattering measurements on the microspheres,which can be attributed to the mesoporous shell and hollow structure of the microsphere.

As a zero-carbon fuel,hydrogen can be produced via electrochemical water splitting using clean electric energy by the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)*** ultimate goal of HER catalyst is to replace the expensive Pt metal benchmark with a cheap one with equivalent *** this work,we investigated the possibility of HER process on single-atom catalysts(SACs)doped on two-dimensional(2D)GaPS_(4)materials,which have a large intrinsic band gap that can be regulated by doping and tensile *** on the machine learning regression analysis,we can expand the prediction of HER performance to more catalysts without expensive DFT *** electron affinity and first ionization energy are the two most important descriptors related to the HER ***,constrain molecular dynamics with solvation models and constant potentials were applied to understand the dynamics barrier of HER process of Pt SAC on GaPS_(4)*** findings not only provide important insights into the catalytic properties of single-atom catalysts on GaPS_(4)2D materials,but also provides theoretical guidance paradigm for exploration of new catalysts.

Quantum phase transition of the Jaynes-Cummings model

Herein,we propose an experimentally feasible scheme to show the quantum phase transition of the Jaynes-Cummings(JC)model by modulating the transition frequency of a two-level system in a quantum Rabi model with strong *** tuning the modulation frequency and amplitude,the ratio of the effective coupling strength of the rotating terms to the effective cavity(atomic transition)frequency can enter the deep-strong coupling regime,while the counter-rotating terms can be ***,a deep-strong JC model is *** ratio of the coupling strength to resonance frequencies in the deep-strong JC model is two orders of magnitude larger than the corresponding ratio in the original quantum Rabi *** scheme can be employed in atom-cavity resonance and off-resonance cases,and it is valid over a broad *** nonzero average cavity photons of the ground state indicate the emergence of a quantum phase ***,we demonstrate the dependence of the phase diagram on the atom-cavity detuning and modulation *** the parameters used in our scheme are within the reach of current experimental *** scheme provides a new mechanism for investigating the critical phenomena of finite-sized systems without requiring classical field limits,thereby opening a door for studying fundamental quantum phenomena occurring in the ultrastrong and even deep-strong coupling regimes.

High-performance sandwiched hybrid solid electrolytes by coating polymer layers for all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries

Poly(vinylidenefluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene)(P(VDF-HFP))/Li_(1.3)Al_(0.3)Ti_(1.7)(PO_(4))_(3)(LATP)/P(VDFHFP) sandwiched hybrid solid electrolytes were precisely tailored and successfully fabricated to assemble into allsolid-state lithium-ion batteries,which were systematically evaluated on microstructure,morphology,thermal stability and electrochemical *** sandwiched hybrid solid electrolytes can achieve intimate contact with cathode and anode electrodes to present an excellent interfacial ***,the sandwiched hybrid solid electrolytes possess flexible surface,wide electrochemical working window of 4.7 V,high ionic conductivity of 0.763 mS·cm^(-1) and high thermal stability of 460℃,which may contribute to realizing the practical application in all-solid-state lithium-ion *** assembled cells with the hybrid solid electrolytes can quickly stabilize at a specific discharge capacity of 145.4 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.1 C after only 5 cycles and present admirable rate *** addition,morphology characterizations of the sandwiched hybrid solid electrolytes after long-term cycles show a relatively integrated structure coating with a compact LATP *** investigations afford a promising strategy that the sandwiched hybrid solid electrolytes can overcome the mechanical limitations of the interface between electrodes and inorganic solid electrolytes to provide favorable properties for all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries.

The magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect of an antiferromagnetic/ferromagnetic(AFM/FM)BiFeO_(3)/Co bilayer with mixed-spin(5/2,3/2)have been studied based on Monte Carlo *** magnetization,susceptibility,and critical temperature are investigated under various exchange couplings and an external magnetic *** particular,the influence of exchange couplings and an external magnetic field on the magnetic entropy change,adiabatic temperature change,and the relative cooling power(RCP)are *** simulation results indicated that the decrease of the exchange coupling and the increase of external magnetic fields can cause an increase of magnetic entropy change,adiabatic temperature change,and *** addition,the hysteresis loops of the system are presented for different exchange couplings and temperatures.

Breaking the scaling relations for efficient N_(2)-to-NH_(3) conversion by a bowl active site design:Insight from LaRuSi and isostructural electrides

The design of optimal heterogeneous catalysts for N_(2)-to-NH_(3) conversion is often dictated by the scaling relations,which result in a volcano curve that poses a limit on the catalytic ***,we reveal a bowl active site that can break the scaling relations,through investigating the catalytic mechanisms of N_(2)-to-NH_(3) conversion on the lanthanide intermetallic electride catalyst LaRuSi by first-principles *** bowl active site,composed of four surface La cations and one subsurface Si atom rich in electrons,plays the key role in enabling efficient *** adaptive electrostatic and orbital interactions,the bowl active site promotes the adsorption and activation of N_(2) that delivers facile cleavage of N-N bond,while destabilizes the adsorptions of ^(*)NH_(x)(x=1,2,3)species,which facilitates the release of the final NH_(3) *** comparison with other electride catalysts isostructural to LaRuSi,we confirm the breaking of scaling relations between the adsorptions of ^(*)NH_(x) species and that of^(*)N on the bowl active ***,this bowl active site presents a design concept that breaks the scaling relations for highly efficient heterogeneous catalysis of N_(2)-to-NH_(3) conversion.
