The γ-ray emission.from the W51 complex is widely ackn.wledged to be attributed to the in.eraction.between.the cosmic rays (CRs) accelerated by the shock of supern.va remn.n. (Sn.) W51C an. the den.e molecular clouds in.the adjacen. star-formin. region. W51B. However, the maximum acceleration.capability of W51C for CRs remain. elusive. Based on.observation. con.ucted with the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO), we report a sign.fican. detection.of γ rays eman.tin. from the W51 complex, with en.rgies from 2 to 200 TeV. The LHAASO measuremen.s, for the first time, exten. the γ-ray emission.from the W51 complex beyon. 100 TeV an. reveal a sign.fican. spectrum ben.in. at ten. of TeV. By combin.n. the "π0-decay bump" featured data from Fermi-LAT, the broadban. γ-ray spectrum of the W51 region.can.be well-characterized by a simple pp-collision.model. The observed spectral ben.in. feature suggests an.expon.n.ial cutoff at ∼400 TeV or a power-law break at ∼200 TeV in.the CR proton.spectrum, most likely providin. the first eviden.e of Sn.s servin. as CR accelerators approachin. the PeV regime. Addition.lly, two youn. star clusters within.W51B could also be theoretically viable to produce the most en.rgetic γ rays observed by LHAASO. Our fin.in.s stron.ly support the presen.e of extreme CR accelerators within.the W51 complex an. provide n.w in.ights in.o the origin.of Galactic CRs. © 2024 Scien.e Chin. Press

A n.vel photo-catalytic system composed of n.doped biochars(n.Cs),Mn.e_(2)O_(4) an. sulfite activation.un.er ultraviolet(n.Cs/Mn.e_(2)O_(4)/sulfite/UV)was con.tructed to realize the efficien. elimin.te of tetracyclin.(TC).As the carrier of Mn.e_(2)O_(4),n.Cs were syn.hesized from alfalfa,which has large specific surface area,graphite like structure an. hierarchical porous *** adsorption.isotherm in.icated that n.Cs/Mn.e_(2)O_(4)-2:1 had the best adsorption.performan.e for TC(347.56 mg g^(-1)).Through syn.rgistic adsorption.an. photocatalysis,the removal rate of TC reached 84%,which was sign.fican.ly higher than.that of Mn.e_(2)O_(4).Electrochemical impedan.e spectroscopy(EIS)an.
