Characterization of Fe-containing particles in chengdu,southwest China,using single-particle aerosol mass spectrometry

Single-particle aerosol mass spectrometry was used to study the characteristics of Fecontaining particles during winter in chengdu,southwest *** mass concentrations of PM_(2.5)and PM_(10)during the study period were 64±38 and 89±49μg/m~3,respectively,and NO_(2)and particulate matter were high compared with most other regions of *** Fecontaining particles were divided into seven categories with different mass spectra,sources and aging *** highest contribution was from Fe mixed with carbonaceous components(Fe-C,23.1%)*** was more mixed with sulfate than nitrate and therefore the contribution of Fe mixed with sulfate(Fe-S,20.7%)particles was higher than that of Fe mixed with nitrate(Fe-N,12.5%)*** contributions from Fe-containing particles related to primary combustion were high in the small particle size range,whereas aged Fecontaining particles and dust-related particles were mostly found in the coarse particle size *** air masses mainly originated from the west and east of chengdu,and the corresponding PM_(2.5)concentrations were 79±36 and 55±36μg/m~3,*** west and east air masses showed stronger contributions of Fe-containing particles related to biomass burning(Fe-B)and fossil fuel combustion(Fe-C and Fe-S)particles,*** southwest area contributed the most Fe-containing *** assessments of the effects of Fe-containing particles during heavy pollution period should pay more attention to Fe-C and Fe-S ***-reduction of Fe-containing particles should consider both local emissions and short-distance transmission from the surrounding areas.

Discrete element modeling and verification of the simulation parameters for chopped hybrid Broussonetia papyrifera stems

In this study,the discrete element software EDEM was applied to establish a simulation model of non-uniform-sized particle units for Broussonetia papyrifera stalks,which aimed to address the low utilization rate of existing Broussonetia papyrifera harvesting machinery,the significant variation between the simulated model of Broussonetia papyrifera stalks and their actual appearance,as well as the absence of contact parameter *** a combination of the free-fall collision method,inclined plane sliding method,and inclined plane rolling method,numerical simulation was conducted to analyze the pattern of variations in contact parameters between Broussonetia papyrifera stalks and the steel material of the ***,these parameters were *** results showed that the coefficient of restitution between Broussonetia papyrifera stalks and steel materials was 0.321,the static friction factor was 0.589,and the rolling friction factor was *** the parameters of contact between Broussonetia papyrifera stalks as variables and the experimentally measured pile angle as the objective of optimization,the steepest ascent experiment and the three-factor five-level rotation combination experiment were *** this way,a second-order response model was constructed to analyze the relationship between the contact parameters and the pile *** the optimization analysis of experimental data,it was determined that the coefficient of restitution between Broussonetia papyrifera stalks was 0.21,the static friction factor was 0.24,and the rolling friction factor was ***,the calibration results were validated through experimentation to show that the relative error between the obtained pile angle under the context of optimal parameter combination and the actual one was 4.11%.In addition,the relative error of mass flow rate in spiral transport was within a reasonable range,this study lays a foundation both theoretically and statistic

Wind energy has become one of the most important measures for China to achieve its carbon neutrality *** spatial and temporal evolvement of economic competitiveness for wind energy becomes an important concern in shaping the decarbonization pathway in *** has been an urgent need in power system planning to model the future dynamics of cost decline and supply potential for wind power in the context of carbon neutrality until *** studies often fail to capture the rapid decline in the cost of wind power generation in recent years,and the prediction of wind power cost decline is more conservative than the *** study constructs an integrated model to evaluate the cost-competitiveness and grid parity potential of China's onshore wind electricity at fine spatial resolution with updated *** indicate that the total onshore wind potential amounts to 54.0 *** average levelized cost of wind power is expected to decline from CNY 0.39 kWh^(-1)in 2020 to CNY 0.30 and CNY 0.21 kWh^(-1)in 2030 and 2060.28.3%,67.6%,and 97.6%of the technical potentials hold power costs lower than coal power in 2020,2030,and 2060.

Early Triassic Volcanic Rocks in the Western Yarlung Zangbo Suture Zone:Implications for the Opening of the Neo-Tethys Ocean

In this study,zircon U-Pb dating of volcanic rocks from the Zhongba ophiolite of the Yarlung Zangbo Suture Zone(YZSZ)in southern xizang(Tibet)yielded an age of 247±3 *** to whole rock geochemical and Sr-NdPb isotopic data,the Early Triassic samples could be divided into two groups:Group 1 with P-MORB affinity,showing initial^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr ratios of 0.70253–0.70602,ε_(Nd)(t)values of 4.2–5.3,(^(206)Pb/^(204)Pb)_(t)ratios of 16.353–18.222,(^(207)Pb/^(204)Pb)_(t)ratios of 15.454–15.564,and(^(208)Pb/^(204)Pb)_(t)ratios of 35.665–38.136;Group 2 with OIB affinity,showing initial^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr ratios of 0.70249–0.70513,ε_(Nd)(t)values of 4.4–4.9,(^(206)Pb/^(204)Pb)_(t)ratios of 17.140–18.328,(^(207)Pb/^(204)Pb)_(t)ratios of 15.491–15.575,and(^(208)Pb/^(204)Pb)_(t)ratios of 36.051–*** 2 rocks formed by partial melting of the mantle source enriched by a former plume,and assimilated continental crustal material during melt *** formation of Group 1 rocks corresponds to the mixing of OIB melts,with the same components as Group 2 and *** Zhongba Early Triassic rocks belong to the continental margin type ophiolite and formed in the continental–oceanic transition zone during the initial opening of the Neo-Tethys in southern xizang(Tibet).

Bio-screening and quantification of methyl paraben in vinegar and coconut juice separated by HPTLC

As a widely used food preservative,methyl paraben was experimentally evidenced with serious hormonelike adverse ***,a high performance thin-layer chromatography platformed bioluminescent bioautography and image analysis for the selective quantification and confirmation of methyl paraben was proposed and validated in vinegar and coconut ***,the detectability of the bioautography to the analyte on different layer materials was estimated,revealing that normal silica gel was the best *** that,the liquid of sample extract and working solution were separated to overcome the background noises due to co-extracted *** separation result was then coupled to the optimized bioautography,enabling instant and straightforward screening of the targeted *** accurate quantification,bioluninescent inhibition pattern caused by the analyte was processed by image analysis,giving useful sensitivity(LOD>16 mg/kg),precision(RSDhe suspected result was confirmed by determining its MS fingerprint,further strengthening the reliability of screening.

An extended numerical model of the first exothermic peak for three dimensional printed cement-based materials

The first exothermic peak of cement-based material occurs a few minutes after mixing,and the properties of three dimensional(3D)printed concrete,such as setting time,are very sensitive to *** this background,based on the classical Park cement exothermic model of hydration,we propose and construct a numerical model of the first exothermic peak,taking into account the proportions of C_(3)S,C_(3)A and quicklime in *** calculated parameters are calibrated by means of relevant published exothermic test *** is found that this developed model offers a good simulation of the first exothermic peak of hydration for C_(3)S and C_(3)A proportions from 0 to 100% of cement clinker and reflects the effect of quicklime content at 8%-10%.The unique value of this research is provision of an important computational tool for applications that are sensitive to the first exothermic peak of hydration,such as 3D printing.

“Blocking and rebalance”mechanism-guided design strategies of bimetallic doped 2D a-phosphorus carbide as efficient catalysts for N_(2) electroreduction

Compared to single atom catalysts(SACs),the introduction of dual atom catalysts(DACs)has a significantly positive effect on improving the efficiency in the electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)which provides an environmental alternative to the Haber-Bosch ***,the research on the mechanism and strategy of designing bimetallic combinations for better performance is still in its early ***,based on"blocking and rebalance"mechanism,45 combinations of bimetallic pair dopedα-phosphorus carbide(TM_(A)TM_(B)@PC)are investigated as efficient NRR catalysts through density functional theory and machine learning *** a multi-step screening,the combinations of TiV,TiFe,MnMo,and FeW exhibit highly efficient catalytic performance with significantly lower limiting potentials(-0.17,-0.18,-0.14,and-0.30 V,respectively).Excitingly,the limiting potential for CrMo and CrW combinations is 0 V,which are considered to be extremely suitable for the NRR *** mechanism of"blocking and rebalance"is revealed by the exploration of charge transfer for phosphorus atoms in electron blocking ***,the descriptorφis proposed with machine learning,which provides design strategies and accurate prediction for finding efficient *** work not only offers promising catalysts TM_(A)TM_(B)@PC for NRR process but also provides design strategies by presenting the descriptorφ.

Energy partition in laser-induced cavitation bubbles near the rigid wall with a gas-containing hole

To investigate the energy partition in laser-induced cavitation bubbles near the rigid wall with a gas-containing hole,we utilized a nanosecond resolution photography system based on a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser and conventional industrial camera to carefully observe the transient process of bubble collapse near the rigid wall with a gas-containing *** analyzed the generation of collapse microjets and the emission of collapse shock *** found that the cavitation bubble near the rigid wall with a gas-containing hole collapsed at different times and space,and produced various types of shock *** on the far field pressure information of the shock waves measured by hydrophone,the energy of the shock waves generated by the bubble collapse near the rigid wall with a gas-containing hole is calculated for the first *** results show that the ratio of collapse shock wave energy to bubble energy is approximately between 0.7 and 0.8.

Graded heterojunction Improves Wide-Bandgap Perovskite for Highly Efficient 4-Terminal Perovskite/Silicon Tandem Solar Cells

Wide-bandgap(WBG)perovskite solar cells(PSCs)are essential for highly efficient and stable silicon/perovskite tandem solar *** this study,we adopted a synthetic strategy with lead thiocyanate(Pb(SCN)_(2))additive and methylammonium chloride(MACl)posttreatment to enhance the crystallinity and improve the interface of WBG perovskite films with a bandgap of 1.68 *** excessive PbI_(2)was formed at grain boundaries and converted into MAPbI_(3-x)Cl_(x)perovskites,which are utilized to form the graded heterojunction(GHJ)and compressive *** is beneficial for passivating nonradiative recombination defects,suppressing halide phase segregation,and facilitating carrier ***,the device with GHJ delivered a champion efficiency of 20.30%and superior stability in ambient air and under 85℃.Finally,we achieved a recorded efficiency of 30.91%for 4-terminal WBG perovskite/TOPCon tandem silicon solar *** findings demonstrate a promising approach for fabricating efficient and stable WBG PSCs through the formation of GHJ.
