Validity and Reliability of Chinese Physical Activity Questionnaire for Children Aged 10-17 Years

Objective This study is aimed to report the development,the reliability and validity of the Chinese Children Physical Activity Questionnaire(CCPAQ)which was designed for the assessment of physical activity pattern in young population in *** The CCPAQ was administered for two times in 119 children(mean age 13.1±2.4 years;boys 47%)to examine reliability by using intraclass correlation *** was determined in 106 participants by agreement with the CCPAQ measures and the objective method,the ActiGraph *** on physical activity patter n including time spe nt on d iff ere nt intensi ties and total physical activity,sedentary behavior as well as physical activity energy expenditure were used to assess the validity with Spearman's correlation coefficient and the Bland-Altman *** The reliability coefficient of the CCPAQ ranged from 0.63-0.93(Intra-class correlation coefficient).Spearman's correlation coefficient for validity of time spent on total physical activity and sedentary behavior were all 0.32(P<0.001),and for physical activity energy expenditure was 0.58(P<0.001).Time spent on moderate-to-vigorous physical activity and light physical activity showed a relatively low correlation with the accelerometer(rho=0.20,P=0.040;rho=0.19,P=0.054).Conclusion The CCPAQ appears to be a promising and feasible method to assess physical activity pattern in Chinese children.

Gravitational wave fluxes on generic orbits in near-extreme Kerr spacetime:Higher spin and large eccentricity

To accurately obtain the waveform template of gravitational waves, substantial computational resources and extremely high precision are often required. In a previous study, we employed the confluent Heun function to obtain an exact solution to the Teukolsky equation. This approach allowed us to efficiently and accurately calculate the gravitational wave flux for a particle in circular orbits around a Schwarzschild black hole. Building on this method, we now extend its application to calculate the asymptotic gravitational wave fluxes from a particle in generic orbits around a near-extreme Kerr black hole. Our extended method proves particularly effective in handling computational challenges associated with large eccentricities(e = 0.9), higher spins(a = 0.999), higher harmonic modes, and strong-field regions. The results we obtained significantly outperform those derived from the numerical integration method based on the Mano-Suzuki-Takasugi method.

Kerr black hole shadows cast by extraordinary light rays with Weyl corrections

We investigate the equation of motion for photons with Weyl corrections in a Kerr black hole spacetime in a small coupling *** results show that Weyl corrections yield phenomena of *** light rays propagating in the spacetime are separated into the ordinary rays and the extraordinary rays,and the propagation of the latter depends on the *** probe the effects of Weyl corrections on the Kerr black hole shadows casted by the extraordinary rays and find that such corrections result in a weak stretching or squeezing in the vertical direction for the black hole ***,we also study the change of the length of the Near-Horizon Extremal Kerr line(NHEK line)with Weyl *** features could help us to understand the electrodynamics with Weyl corrections from black hole shadows.

Cyber-physical systems(CPSs)have emerged as an essential area of research in the last decade,providing a new paradigm for the integration of computational and physical units in modern control *** state estimation(RSE)is an indispensable functional module of ***,it has been demonstrated that malicious agents can manipulate data packets transmitted through unreliable channels of RSE,leading to severe estimation performance *** paper aims to present an overview of recent advances in cyber-attacks and defensive countermeasures,with a specific focus on integrity attacks against ***,two representative frameworks for the synthesis of optimal deception attacks with various performance metrics and stealthiness constraints are discussed,which provide a deeper insight into the vulnerabilities of ***,a detailed review of typical attack detection and resilient estimation algorithms is included,illustrating the latest defensive measures safeguarding RSE from ***,some prevalent attacks impairing the confidentiality and data availability of RSE are examined from both attackers'and defenders'***,several challenges and open problems are presented to inspire further exploration and future research in this field.

Surface reconstruction of heterostructures in alkaline medium towards enhanced electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution

Constructing heterostructures has proved to be a successful strategy to fabricate electrocatalysts with high efficiency for water ***,the structure evolution in alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction lacks investigation and the specific active center remains ***,we take the well-designed Ni_(3)S_(2)@VO_(2) heterostructures as a model to investigate the electrocatalytic activity and the surface reconstruction process of heterostructure catalysts in alkaline *** Ni_(3)S_(2)@VO_(2) heterostructures,with Ni_(3)S_(2) nanorods as the core and VO_(2) nanoflakes as the shell,coupled with the high conductive Ni_(3)S_(2),the hydrophilic VO_(2) and modulated electronic structures at the interfaces,exhibited prominent activity and superior stability at various current ***,the ex-situ characterizations confirmed that the surface reconstruction from Ni_(3)S_(2)@VO_(2) into Ni_(3)S_(2)@amorphous-Ni(OH)_(2) in alkaline media could optimize the water dissociation barrier and exposed large active area,thereby contributing to improved electrocatalytic *** study not only introduces novel high-performance electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),but also provides a new avenue for re-examining hetero-structural catalysts in alkaline solutions.

Resource utilization of drinking water treatment aluminum sludge in green cementing materials: Hydration characteristics and hydration kinetics

As a byproduct of water treatment,drinking water treatment aluminum sludge(DWTAS)has challenges related to imperfect treatment and disposal,which has caused potential harm to human health and the *** this paper,heat treatment DWTAS as a supplement cementitious material was used to prepare a green cementing *** results show that the 800℃ is considered as the optimum heat treatment temperature for ***-800℃ is fully activated after thermal decomposition to form incompletely crystallized highly activeγ-Al2O3 and active SiO_(2).The addition of DWTAS promoted the formation of ettringite and C-(A)-S-H gel,which could make up for the low early compressive strength of cementing materials to a certain *** cured for 90 days,the compressive strength of the mortar with 30% DWTAS-800℃ reached 44.86 *** dynamic process was well simulated by Krstulovi′c-Dabi′c hydration kinetics *** study provided a methodology for the fabrication of environmentally friendly and cost-effective compound cementitiousmaterials and proposed a“waste-to-resource”strategy for the sustainable management of typical solid wastes.

A summary of UNSCEAR evaluation on occupational exposure to ionizing radiation and call for more representative data in broader range of occupational sectors

The annex D of the United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation(UNSCEAR)2020/2021 Report presented a comprehensive global estimate of occupational exposure to ionizing *** worldwide annual number of workers exposed to natural and human-made sources of ionizing radiation was estimated to be approximately 24 million in the period *** 52% of those were employed in the sectors that involve exposure to natural sources of *** worldwide average annual effective dose for all workers during the period 2010-2014 was estimated to be around 1.2 mSv-about two thirds of the value estimated for the period *** annual effective dose was estimated to be around 2.0 mSv for workers exposed to natural sources and 0.5 mSv for workers exposed to human-made *** overriding limitation of current evaluation was the low rate of participation by United Nations Member States in providing occupational exposure monitoring data,especially data from non-nuclear sectors and occupational sectors involving naturally occurring radioactive *** the assessment of the worldwide occupational exposure is a complex task,the Committee relies on the collection of up-to-date data on occupational exposure from United Nations Member States in a broad range of occupational sectors,and continues collaboration with international organizations.

As one of the most common structural motifs in natural products,cyclopentenones usually can be fabricated by Nazarov cyclization using divinyl ketones or functionalized tertiary divinyl carbinols(TDCs)as ***,straightforward method for transforming unfunctionalized TDCs to their corresponding cyclopentenones is currently ***,we wish to report the total syntheses of four structurally distinct terpenoids,namely laurane-type marine sesquiterpenoids isolaurene,debromoaplysin and aplysin,and guaiane sesquiterpenoid guaiadienone A,all using a novel synthetic method,named oxidative Nazarov cyclization,as the key *** work demonstrated our robust method is suitable for synthesizing various highly substituted cyclopentenones.

Parametric resonance of axially functionally graded pipes conveying pulsating fluid

Based on the generalized Hamilton's principle,the nonlinear governing equation of an axially functionally graded(AFG)pipe is *** non-trivial equilibrium configuration is superposed by the modal functions of a simply supported *** the direct multi-scale method,the response and stability boundary to the pulsating fluid velocity are solved analytically and verified by the differential quadrature element method(DQEM).The influence of Young's modulus gradient on the parametric resonance is investigated in the subcritical and supercritical *** general,the pipe in the supercritical region is more sensitive to the pulsating *** nonlinearity changes from hard to soft,and the non-trivial equilibrium configuration introduces more frequency components to the ***,the increasing Young's modulus gradient improves the critical pulsating flow velocity of the parametric resonance,and further enhances the stability of the *** addition,when the temperature increases along the axial direction,reducing the gradient parameter can enhance the response *** work further complements the theoretical analysis of pipes conveying pulsating fluid.

Study on the mechanism and reaction characteristics of metal-supported phosphogypsum as oxygen carrier in a chemical looping gasification application

This study aimed to explore the chemical looping gasification(CLG)reaction characteristics of the metal-supported composite phosphogypsum(PG)oxygen carriers(OCs)and the thermodynamic *** FactSage 7.1 thermodynamic simulation was used to explore the oxygen release and H_(2)S removal *** experimental results showed that the syngas yield of CLG with PG-CuFe_(2)O_(4)was more than that with PG-Fe_(2)O_(3)20/CuO40 or PG-Fe_(2)O_(3)30/CuO30 OC at 1023 K when the water vapor content was ***,the maximum syngas yield of the CO selectivity was 70.3% and of the CO_(2)selectivity was 23.8%.The H_(2)/CO value was 0.78,and the highest carbon conversion efficiency was 91.9% in PG-CuFe_(2)O_(4)at the gasification temperature of 1073 *** metal-supported PG composite oxygen carrier was proved not only as an oxygen carrier to participate in the preparation of syngas but also as a catalyst to catalyze coal gasification ***,both the experimental results and FactSage 7.1 thermodynamic analysis revealed that the trapping mechanism of H_(2)S by composite OCs was as follows:CuO first lost lattice oxygen as an oxygen carrier to generate Cu_(2)O,which,in turn,reacted with H_(2)S to generate Cu_(2)*** study provided efficient guidance and reference for OC design in CLG.
