Surface integrity evolution during creep feed profile grinding ofγ-tiAl blade tenon

Gamma titanium-aluminum(γ-tiAl)intermetallic compounds are increasingly used in manufacturing key hot-end components(e.g.,blade tenon)in aero engines due to their high specific strength and lightweight *** feed profile grinding(CFPG)as a crucial precision process that is applied to produce the final profile of the blade ***,sudden surface burns and microcracks of machined c-tiAl blade tenon often occur because of its low plasticity and high strength during grinding processes,leading to poor surface *** this work,CFPG experiments based on the profile characteristics ofγ-tiAl blade tenon were performed and an associated undeformed chip thickness model considering grain–workpiece contact condition was established to explore the evolution of the surface ***,the surface integrity was analyzed at different positions of the blade tenon in terms of surface roughness and morphology,metallographic structure,microhardness,and residual *** show that the profile characteristics of blade tenon have a significant influence on machined surface integrity because of the thermomechanical effect at various detecting *** residual stress was established based on the undeformed chip thickness model considering the profile structure,with a prediction error of 10%–15%.the thermomechanical effect is more obvious at the bottom area,where the surface roughness,work hardening degree,and subsurface plastic deformation range are the largest,while the values at the bevel area are the *** on the undeformed chip thickness model,a residual stress finite element simulation was conducted by employing thermomechanical coupled *** addition,the error between the simulation and the experiment was between 10%–15%.Strain and strain rate equations were established through the relationship between material displacement and *** average strain and strain rate of the ground surface when ap is 1.0 mm are 18.8%and 33.2%l

this paper theoretically studies the axisymmetric frictionless indentation of a transversely isotropic piezoelectric semiconductor(PSC)half-space subject to a rigid flatended cylindrical *** contact area and other surface of the PSC half-space are assumed to be electrically *** the Hankel integral transformation,the problem is reduced to the Fredholm integral equation of the second *** equation is solved numerically.t. obtain the indentation behaviors of the PSC half-space,mainly including the indentation force-depth relation and the electric potential-depth *** results show that the effect of the semiconductor property on the indentation responses is limited within a certain range of variation of the steady carrier *** dependence of indentation behavior on material properties is also analyzed by.t.o different kinds of *** element simulations are conducted to verify.t.e results calculated by.t.e integral equation technique,and good agreement is demonstrated.

Numerical Investigation on Heat transfer Characteristics of Microencapsulated Phase Change Material Slurry in a Rectangular Minichannel

Microencapsulation phase change material slurry(MEPCMS) becomes a potential working fluid for cooling high energy density miniaturized components,thanks to the latent heat absorption of particles in the heat transfer *** this work,the Discrete Phase Model(DPM) based on the Euler-Lagrangian method is used to numerically investigate the convective heat transfer characteristics of MEPCMS flowing through a rectangular minichannel with constant heat *** results show that particles of MEPCMS are mainly subjected to drag force during the *** so,they can migrate from the high-temperature region to the low-temperature region driven by.t.e thermophoretic force,affecting the particle distribution and phase change ***,the Nux of the MEPCMS fluctuates due to particle phase change with varying specific heat ***,the value increases first,then decreases,and eventually increases again until it approaches the fully developed value of the pure base fluid as the particles gradually ***,the heat transfer performance of the MEPCMS is influenced by.t.e combination of fluid inlet temperature fluid inlet velocity(v),and mass concentration(c_(m)) of MEPCM *** result shows that the maximum reduction of the maximum bottom wall temperature difference(Δt_(w)) is 23.98% at t_(in)=293.15 K,v=0.15 m·s^(-1),c_(m)=10%.

this study evaluated the feasibility of using polypropylene fiber(PF)as reinforcement in improving tensile strength behavior of cement-stabilized dredged sediment(CDS).the effects of cement content,water content,PF content and length on the tensile strength and stress–strain behavioral evolutions were evaluated by conducting splitting tensile strength ***,the micro-mechanisms characterizing the tensile strength behavior inside PF-reinforced CDS(CPFDS)were clarified via analyzing macro failure and microstructure *** results indicate that the highest tensile strengths of 7,28,60,and 90 d CPFDS were reached at PF contents of 0.6%,1.0%,1.0%,and 1.0%,exhibiting values 5.96%,65.16%,34.10%,and 35.83%higher than those of CDS,***,3 mm,PF of showed the best reinforcement *** CPFDS exhibited obvious tensile strain-hardening characteristic,and also had better ductility.t.an *** mix factor(C_(C)^(a)/C_(w)^(b))and time parameter(q_(t0)(t))of CDS,and the reinforcement index(k_(t-PF))of CPFDS were used to establish the tensile strength prediction models of CDS and CPFDS,considering multiple *** PF“bridge effect”and associated cementation-reinforcement coupling actions inside CPFDS were mainly responsible for tensile strength behavior *** key findings contribute to the use of CPFDS as recycled engineering soils.

KCNA1 is the coding gene for Kv1.1 voltage-gated potassium-channelα*** variants of KCNA1 have been reported to manifest as paroxysmal kinesigenic dyskinesia(PKD),but the correlation between them remains unclear due to the phenotypic complexity of KCNA1 variants as well as the rarity of PKD *** the whole exome sequencing followed by Sanger sequencing,we screen for potential pathogenic KCNA1 variants in patients clinically diagnosed with paroxysmal movement disorders and identify.t.ree previously unreported missense variants of KCNA1 in three unrelated Chinese *** proband of one family(c.496G>A,p.A166t)manifests as episodic ataxia type 1,and the other two(c.877G>A,p.V293I and c.1112C>A,p.t371A)manifest as *** pathogenicity of these variants is confirmed by functional studies,suggesting that p.A166t and p.t371A cause a loss-of-function of the channel,while p.V293I leads to a gain-of-function with the property of voltage-dependent gating and activation kinetic *** reviewing the locations of PKD-manifested KCNA1 variants in Kv1.1 protein,we find that these variants tend to cluster around the pore domain,which is similar to ***,our study strengthens the correlation between KCNA1 variants and PKD and provides more information on genotype–phenotype correlations of KCNA1 channelopathy.

Organic scintillators that efficiently generate bright triplet excitons are of critical importance for highperformance X-ray-excited luminescence in radiation ***,the nature of triplet-singlet spinforbidden transitions in these materials often result in long-lived phosphorescence,which is undesirable for ultrafast X-ray detection and *** we demonstrate that the effect of hybridized local and charge-transfer(HLCt)excited states enables organic scintillators to exhibit highly efficient and fast radioluminescence(RL)in response to X-ray *** experimental and theoretical investigation shows that the oxidized 1,8-naphthalimide-phenothiazine dyad(OMNI-PtZ 2)with HLCt-excited states has an enhanced overlap integral of the highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO)and lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)on MNIπ-orbitals,and moderate donor–acceptor electron *** a result,the RL of these cry.t.ls exhibits a 61-fold increase and its monoexponential decay lifetime is three orders of magnitude faster compared to its corresponding thermally activated delayed fluorescence(tADF)molecule MNI-PtZ *** further demonstrate the practical utility of the OMNI-PtZ 2(G)in high-performance X-ray detection and imaging,achieving an X-ray dose sensitivity of 97 nGy s−1 and an exceptional spatial resolution of 20 lp/*** study provides a promising molecular design principle for utilizing triplet excitons to develop high-efficiency and fast X-ray scintillators for the development of next-generation flexible and stretchable X-ray imaging detectors.

Cancer immunotherapy has emerged as a promising strategy for the treatment of cancer,with the tumor microenvironment(tME)playing a pivotal role in modulating the immune ***47,a cell surface protein,has been identified as a crucial regulator of the tME and a potential therapeutic target for cancer ***,the precise functions and implications of CD47 in the tME during immunotherapy for cancer patients remain incompletely *** comprehensive review aims to provide an overview of CD47’s multifaced role in tME regulation and immune evasion,elucidating its impact on various types of immunotherapy outcomes,including checkpoint inhibitors and CAR t-cell ***,CD47-targeted therapies offer a promising avenue for improving cancer treatment outcomes,especially when combined with other immunotherapeutic *** review also discusses current and potential CD47-targeted therapies being explored for cancer treatment and delves into the associated challenges and opportunities inherent in targeting *** the demonstrated effectiveness of CD47-targeted therapies,there are potential problems,including unintended effects on healthy cells,hematological toxicities,and the development if ***,further research efforts are warranted to fully understand the underlying mechanisms of resistance and to optimize CD47-targeted therapies through innovative combination approaches,ultimately improving cancer treatment ***,this comprehensive review highlights the significance of CD47 as a promising target for cancer immunotherapy and provides valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities in developing effective CD47-targeted therapies for cancer treatment.
