An analysis of major and trace element geochemistry and SHRIMP U-Pb zircon dating of mafic, intermediate, and felsic rocks from the Mianning metamorphic complex of Si- chuan Province was conducted. One of our conclusions is that a majority of the zircons crystal- lized between 721 and 773 Ma in a magmatic regime. The complexes contain early to late Pa- leo-proterozoic relict zircons from ancient continental crust. The oldest age, 2468 Ma, may rep- resent the basement of the Yangtze block. Overgrowth zircon rims and palingenetic zircons have been observed and dated, and are believed to have formed after crystallization, during Paleozoic and Mesozoic metamorphic-anatexis. We also conclude that depletion of Nb, Ta, HREE, in a spider-diagram normalized to primitive mantle and calc-alkaline association, implies that they formed in island-arc or under-plating settings.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),commonly known as primary liver cancer,is a major cause of malignant tumors and cancer-related deaths in china,accounting for approximately 85%of all cancer cases in the *** guidelines have been used to diagnose and treat liver ***,these guidelines provide a broad definition for classifying advanced liver cancer,with an emphasis on a singular approach,without considering treatment options for individual ***,it is necessary to establish a comprehensive and practical expert consensus,specifically for china,to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of HCC using the Delphi *** classification criteria were refined for Chinese patients with HCC,and the corresponding optimal treatment regimen recommendations were *** recommendations took into account various factors,including tumor characteristics,vascular tumor thrombus grade,distant metastasis,liver function status,portal hypertension,and the hepatitis B virus replication status of patients with primary HCC,along with treatment *** findings and rec-ommendations provide detailed,scientific,and reasonable individualized diagnosis and treatment strategies for clinicians.

Oceanic plateaus are a significant type of large igneous provinces in the oceans,providing insights to regional tectonic events and mantle *** three world's largest oceanic plateaus,the Ontong Java Plateau,the Kerguelen Plateau and the Shatsky Rise,are representatives in displaying extraordinary fluxes of magma from mantle to *** description incorporating transdisciplinary observations on marine geology,geophysics and geochemistry allow us to test the two lively-debated oceanic plateau formation hypotheses(mantle plume and plate boundary models).Predictions from either hypothesis merely obtain partial *** is therefore unclear to differentiate one model from another one regarding the oceanic plateau *** comparisons of the three oceanic plateaus show many commonalities and even more differences in their formation and *** diversity signifies one may not be typical of ***,several key common features,i.e.,massive and rapid eruption and near-ridge formation setting,imply that the lithospheric volcanic emplacement of oceanic plateaus was controlled by seafloor spreading despite a mantle plume exists *** a coincidence of mantle plume and spreading ridge occurs,it may indicate a plume-ridge *** possible mechanism is that spreading ridge is dragged by a plume and migrates to the location of the *** possibility is that the asthenosphere is fed by a plume nearby and generates melting anomalies along the spreading ridge.

Retrospective analysis of pathological types and imaging features in pancreatic cancer: A comprehensive study

BACKGROUND Pancreatic cancer remains one of the most lethal malignancies worldwide,with a poor prognosis often attributed to late *** the correlation between pathological type and imaging features is crucial for early detection and appropriate treatment *** To retrospectively analyze the relationship between different pathological types of pancreatic cancer and their corresponding imaging *** We retrospectively analyzed the data of 500 patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer between January 2010 and December 2020 at our *** types were determined by histopathological examination of the surgical spe-cimens or biopsy *** imaging features were assessed using computed tomography,magnetic resonance imaging,and endoscopic *** analyses were performed to identify significant associations between pathological types and specific imaging *** There were 320(64%)cases of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma,75(15%)of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms,50(10%)of neuroendocrine tumors,and 55(11%)of other rare *** imaging features were identified in each pathological *** ductal adenocarcinoma typically presents as a hypodense mass with poorly defined borders on computed tomography,whereas intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms present as characteristic cystic lesions with mural *** tumors often appear as hypervascular lesions in contrast-enhanced *** analysis revealed significant correlations between specific imaging features and pathological types(Passociation between the pathological types of pancreatic cancer and imaging *** findings can enhance the accuracy of noninvasive diagnosis and guide personalized treatment approaches.

In recent years,the power conversion efficiency of organic solar cells(OSCs)and perovskite(PVSCs)has increased to over 19%and25%,***,the long-term stability of OSCs and PVSCs was also significantly improved with a better understanding of the degradation mechanism and the improvement of materials,morphology,and interface *** both the efficiency and lifetime of solar cells are approaching the commercialization limit,fabrication methods for large-area OSCs and PVSCs that can be directly transferred from lab to fab become essential to promote the industrialization of OSCs and *** with the coating methods,inkjet printing is a mature industrial technology with the advantages of random digital patterning,excellent precision and fast printing speed,which is considered to have great potential in solar cell *** efforts have been devoted to developing inkjet-printed OSCs and PVSCs,and much progress has been achieved in the last few *** this review,we first introduced the working principle of inkjet printing,the rheology requirements of inks,and the behaviors of the *** then summarized the recent research progresses of the inkjet-printed OSCs and PVSCs to facilitate knowledge transfer between the two *** the end,we gave a perspective on inkjet-printed OSCs and PVSCs.

We report the discovery of a peculiar X-ray transient,EP240408a,by Einstein Probe （EP） and follow-up studies made with EP,Swift,NICER,GROND,ATCA and other ground-based multiwavelength *** new transient was first detected with Wide-field X-ray Telescope （WXT） on board EP on April 8th,2024,manifested in an intense yet brief X-ray flare lasting for *** flare reached a peak flux of 3.9×10-9erg cm-2s-1in 0.5-4 ke V,～300 times brighter than the underlying X-ray emission detected throughout the *** and more precise follow-up observations by EP/FXT,Swift and NICER confirmed the finding of this new *** X-ray spectrum is non-thermal in 0.5-10 ke V,with a power-law photon index varying *** X-ray light curve shows a plateau lasting for ～4 d,followed by a steep decay till becoming undetectable ～10 d after the initial *** on its temporal property and constraints from previous EP observations,an unusual timescale in the range of 7-23 d is found for EP240408a,which is intermediate between the commonly found fast and long-term *** counterparts have been found in optical and near-infrared,with the earliest observation at 17 h after the initial X-ray detection,suggestive of intrinsically weak emission in these *** demonstrate that the remarkable properties of EP240408a are inconsistent with any of the transient types known so far,by comparison with,in particular,jetted tidal disruption events,gamma-ray bursts,X-ray binaries and fast blue optical *** nature of EP240408a thus remains an *** suggest that EP240408a may represent a new type of transients with intermediate timescales of the order of～10 *** detection and follow-ups of more of such objects are essential for revealing their origin.

Background:Cross-sectional evidence and small-scale trials suggest positive effects of stair climbing on cardiometabolic disease and glucose ***,few studies have examined the long-term association between stair climbing and the incidence of type 2 diabetes(T2D).We aimed to prospectively evaluate the association of stair climbing with T2D and assess modifications by genetic predisposition to ***:We included 451,699 adults(mean age=56.3±8.1 years,mean±SD;55.2%females)without T2D at baseline in the UK Biobank and followed up to March 31,*** climbing information was collected through the touchscreen *** risk score for T2D consisted of 424 single nucleotide ***:During a median follow up of 12.1 years,14,896 T2D cases were *** with participants who reported no stair climbing,those who climbed stairs regularly had a lower risk of incident T2D(10-50 steps/day:hazard ratio(HR)=0.95,95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.89-1.00;60-100 steps/day:HR=0.92,95%CI:0.87-0.98;110-150 steps/day:HR=0.86,95%CI:0.80-0.91;>150 steps/day:HR=0.93,95%CI:0.87-0.99,p for trend=0.0007).We observed a significant interaction between stair climbing and genetic risk score on the subsequent T2D risk(p for interaction=0.0004),where the risk of T2D showed a downward trend in subjects with low genetic risk and those who reported stair climbing activity of 110-150 steps/day appeared to have the lowest overall T2D risk among those with intermediate to high genetic ***:A higher number of stairs climbed at home was associated with lower T2D incidence risk,especially among individuals with a low genetic predisposition to *** findings highlight that stair climbing,as incidental physical activity,offers a simple and low-cost complement to public health interventions for T2D prevention.
