Electricity demand is also known as load in electric power *** article presents a Long-Term Load Forecasting(LTLF)approach for *** Artificial Neural Network(ANN)of 5-layer Multi-Layered Perceptron(MLP)structure has been designed and tested for this *** of input variables and ANN model were introduced to obtain the prediction for years 2022 to *** correlation was used to examine the input variables for model *** analysis indicates that Primary Energy Supply(PES),population,Gross Domestic Product(GDP)and temperature are strongly *** forecast results by the proposed method(henceforth referred to as UQ-SNN)were compared with the results obtained by a conventional Seasonal Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average(SARIMA)*** R^(2)scores for UQ-SNN and SARIMA are 0.9994 and 0.9787,respectively,indicating that UQ-SNN is more accurate in capturing the non-linearity and the underlying relationships between the input and output *** proposed method can be easily extended to include other input variables to increase the model complexity and is suitable for *** the available input data,UQ-SNN predicts Malaysia will consume 207.22 TWh of electricity,with standard deviation(SD)of 6.10 TWh by 2030.

At present, there is little commercial sale of biochar, since farmers find they can not gain a return on their investment in this amendment in the first few years after its application, because of the high cost associated with large application rates. To overcome this constraint, development of artificially aged enriched biochar-mineral complexes(BMCs), having a higher mineral content, surface functionality, exchangeable cations, high concentration of magnetic iron(Fe) nanoparticles, and higher water-extractable organic compounds has been undertaken by a combined team of researchers and a commercial company. Two biochars produced under different pyrolysis conditions were activated with a phosphoric acid treatment. A mixture of clay, chicken litter, and minerals were added to the biochar, and then this composite was torrefied at either 180 or 220?C. In this study a pot experiment was carried out in glasshouse conditions to determine the effects of four different BMCs, with different formulations applied at rates of 100 and 200 kg ha-1, on the mycorrhizal colonisation, wheat growth and nutrient uptake, and soil quality improvement. It was found that the phosphorus(P) and nitrogen uptake in wheat shoots were significantly greater for a low application rate of BMCs(100 kg ha-1). The present formulation of BMC was effective in enhancing growth of wheat at low application rate(100 kg ha-1). The increase in growth appeared due to an increase in P uptake in the plants that could be partly attributed to an increase in mycorrhizal colonisation and partly due to the properties of the BMC.

Squamous papillomas(SPs) are common benign neoplastic lesions, usually affecting the skin, oral mucosa, upper aerodigestive tract and genital organs. However, SPs of the external auditory canal(EAC) are rarely reported in the English literature. In this report, we present a 19-year-old female with left EAC SP. The etiology, natural course, diagnosis and management of this disease are discussed, with a brief review of the literature.

目的:针对新加坡的花岗岩地质结构,研究将典型马蹄形隧道挖掘成双拱隧道时岩石支撑的设计问题。利用离散元法分析侧边导坑对隧道主体开口的影响。创新点:1.基于平面应变假设,提出一个针对性的离散元模型以分析侧边导坑的设置对主体隧道支撑的影响;2.此模型适用于解决底下长跨度开口的支撑设计问题,如大众捷运系统隧道和紧贴式双孔隧道的建造,补充了传统经验主义的设计方法。方法:1.采用离散元法对马蹄形隧道开口支撑问题进行非连续分析;2.采用二维平面应变模型简化问题。结论:1.离散元法可用于分析有限岩石覆盖层的失效机制,单隧道支撑要求以及增加侧边导坑后的支撑要求;2.模型计算结果显示,侧边导坑的挖掘使得支柱总的螺栓连接作用力增加了一倍。

The impact of urological resection and reconstruction on patients undergoing cytoreductive surgery (CRS) and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC)

AIM To characterize patients with gastric peritoneal carcinomatosis(PC) and their typical clinical and treatment course with palliative systemic chemotherapy as the current standard of *** We performed a retrospective electronic chart review of all patients with gastric adenocarcinoma with PC diagnosed at initial metastatic presentation between January 2010 and December 2014 in a single tertiary referral *** We studied a total of 271 patients with a median age of 63.8 years and median follow-up duration of 5.1 mo. The majority(n = 217, 80.1%) had the peritoneum as the only site of metastasis at initial presentation. Palliative systemic chemotherapy was eventually planned for 175(64.6%) of our patients at initial presentation, of which 171 were initiated on it. Choice of first-line regime was in accordance with the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Guidelines for Gastric Cancer Treatment. Thesepatients underwent a median of one line of chemotherapy, completing a median of six cycles in total. Chemotherapy disruption due to unplanned hospitalizations occurred in 114(66.7%), while cessation of chemotherapy occurred in 157(91.8%), with 42 cessations primarily attributable to PC-related complications. Patients who had initiation of systemic chemotherapy had a significantly better median overall survival than those who did not(10.9 mo vs 1.6 mo, P < 0.001). Of patients who had initiation of systemic chemotherapy, those who experienced any disruptions to chemotherapy due to unplanned hospitalizations had a significantly worse median overall survival compared to those who did not(8.7 mo vs 14.6 mo, P < 0.001).CONCLUSION Gastric PC carries a grim prognosis with a clinical course fraught with disease-related complications which may attenuate any survival benefit which palliative systemic chemotherapy may have to offer. As such, investigational use of regional therapies is warranted and required validation in patients with isolated PC to maximize their
