Multi-functional epoxides cross-linked collagen sponges for tissue engineering scaffolds

With the efficient cross-linking abilities and the flexible regulation abilities to the performances of cross-linked products,the multi-functional aliphatic epoxides were once widely used to cross-link the collagen-based materials in the last *** present work,the multi-functional epoxides were used to construct and cross-link collagen sponges for tissue engineering scaffolds,which was hoped to board the theoretical system of epoxides and explore their potentials for modern *** bi-to tetra-functional epoxides were used to cross-link collagen solu-tions and establish the gel-like precursors,then using freeze-drying to form the final *** SEM observed that the sponges had shown regular porous structures with a wide range of pore sizes from 160 to 440 μ*** sponges had presented the resistance to enzymatic degradation,shape-remaining ability,and reversible compress-ibility in aqueous environments,which all could be regulated through the functionalities of *** regulation abilities of multi-functional epoxides on the performances of sponges had been mainly achieved through the cross-linking degrees that the higherfunctionality of epoxides would bring higher cross-linking *** higher cross-linking degrees could enhance the elastic behaviors of gel-like precursors,and improve the compressive strengths and thermal stabilities of ***,the multi-functional epoxides had barely affected the safety of col-lagen sponges at the cellular level according to the results of CCK8 assay and the SEM and ClSM images of l929 fibroblasts cultured on the cross-sections of sponges.

Effect of dissolved-oxygen on the flotation behavior of pyrite at high altitude area

With the continuous development of mineral resources to high altitude areas,the study of sulfide ore flotation in unconventional systems has been *** is a consensus that moderate oxidation of sulfide ore is beneficial to flotation,but the specific suitable dissolved oxygen value is inconclusive,and there are few studies on sulfide ore flotation under low dissolved oxygen environment at high *** this paper,we designed and assembled an atmosphere simulation flotation equipment to simulate the flotation of pyrite at high altitude by controlling the partial pressure of N_(2)/O_(2) and dissolved oxygen under atmospheric conditions.X-ray photoelectron spec-troscopy(XPS),atomic force microscope(AFM),Fourier transform infrared spectrometer(FT-IR),UV-vis spectrophotometer,zeta po-tential,and contact angle measurements were used to reveal the effects of surface oxidation and agent adsorption on pyrite at high altitude(4600 m dissolved oxygen(DO)=4.0 mg/l).The results of pure mineral flotation indicated that the high altitude and low dissolved oxy-gen environment is favorable for pyrite *** angle measurements and XPS analysis showed that the high altitude atmosphere nslows down the oxidation of pyrite surface,facilitates S_(n)^(2-)/S^(0) production and enhances surface *** calcula-tions and zeta potential analysis showed that the influence of atmosphere on the form of pyrite adsorption is small,and the different atmo-spheric conditions are consistent with dixanthogen electrochemical adsorption,with lower Zeta potential under high altitude atmosphere and significant potential shift after sodium isobutyl xanthate(SIBX)*** results of FT-IR,UV-vis,and AFM analysis showed that SIBX adsorbed more on the surface of pyrite under high altitude atmosphere and adsorbed on the surface in a mesh structure com-posed of column/*** results of the experimental study revealed the reasons for the easy flotation of sul

Phosphorylation Promotes the Accumulation of PERIOD Protein Foci

Circadian clock drives the 24-h rhythm in our behavior and *** molecular clock consists of a series of transcriptional/translational feedback loops operated by a number of clock genes.A very recent study reported that the clock protein PERIOD(PER)is organized into discrete foci at the nuclear envelope in fly circadian neurons,which is believed to be important for controlling the subcellular localization of clock *** of inner nuclear membrane protein lamin B receptor(lBR)leads to disruption of these foci,but how they are regulated is yet ***,we found that PER foci are likely phase-separated condensates,the formation of which is mediated by intrinsically disordered region in *** promotes the accumulation of these *** phosphatase 2A,which is known to dephosphorylate PER,hampers the accumulation of the *** the other hand,the circadian kinase DOUBlETIME(DBT)which phosphorylates PER enhances the accumulation of the *** likely facilitates PER foci accumulation by destabilizing the catalytic subunit of protein phosphatase 2A,MICROTUBUlE STAR(MTS).In conclusion,here,we demonstrate a key role for phosphorylation in promoting the accumulation of PER foci,while lBR modulates this process by impinging on the circadian phosphatase MTS.

Following the recent report by Dasenbrock-Gammon et al.[Nature 615,244–250(2023)]of near-ambient superconductivity in nitrogendoped lutetium trihydride(luH_(3-δ)N_(ε)),significant debate has emerged surrounding the composition and interpretation of the observed sharp resistance ***,we meticulously revisit these claims through comprehensive characterization and *** definitively identify the reported material as lutetium dihydride(luH_(2)),resolving the ambiguity surrounding its *** similar conditions(270–295 K and 1–2 GPa),we replicate the reported sharp decrease in electrical resistance with a 30%success rate,aligning with the observations by Dasenbrock-Gammon et ***,our extensive investigations reveal this phenomenon to be a novel pressure-induced metal-to-metal transition intrinsic to luH_(2),distinct from ***,nitrogen doping exerts minimal impact on this *** work not only elucidates the fundamental properties of luH_(2)andluH_(3),but also critically challenges the notion of superconductivity in these lutetium hydride *** findings pave the way for future research on lutetium hydride systems,while emphasizing the crucial importance of rigorous verification in claims of ambient-temperature superconductivity.

Molecular Mechanisms of Intracellular Delivery of Nanoparticles Monitored by an Enzyme‑Induced Proximity labeling

Achieving increasingly finely targeted drug delivery to organs,tissues,cells,and even to intracellular biomacromolecules is one of the core goals of *** the delivery destination is refined to cellular and subcellular targets,it is essential to explore the delivery of nanomedicines at the molecular ***,due to the lack of technical methods,the molecular mechanism of the intracellular delivery of nanomedicines remains unclear to ***,we develop an enzyme-induced proximity labeling technology in nanoparticles(nano-EPl)for the real-time monitoring of proteins that interact with intracellular ***(lactic-co-glycolic acid)nanoparticles coupled with horseradish peroxidase(HRP)were fabricated as a model(HRP(+)-PNPs)to evaluate the molecular mechanism of nano delivery in *** adding the labeling probe biotin-phenol and the catalytic substrate H_(2)O_(2)at different time points in cellular delivery,nano-EPl technology was validated for the real-time in situ labeling of proteins interacting with ***-EPl achieves the dynamic molecular profiling of 740 proteins to map the intracellular delivery of HRP(+)-PNPs in macrophages over *** on dynamic clustering analysis of these proteins,we further discovered that different organelles,including endosomes,lysosomes,the endoplasmic reticulum,and the Golgi apparatus,are involved in delivery with distinct participation *** importantly,the engagement of these organelles differentially affects the drug delivery efficiency,reflecting the spatial–temporal heterogeneity of nano delivery in *** summary,these findings highlight a significant methodological advance toward understanding the molecular mechanisms involved in the intracellular delivery of nanomedicines.

Aspergillus niger is an efficient cell factory for organic acids production,particularly l-malic acid,through genetic ***,the traditional method of collecting *** spores for inoculation is labor-intensive and *** our study,we used the CRISPR-Cas9 system to replace the promoter of brlA,a key gene in Aspergillus conidiation,with a xylose-inducible promoter xylP in l-malic acid-producing *** strain RG0095,generating strain *** induced with xylose in submerged liquid culture,brlAxylP exhibited significant upregulation of conidiation-related *** induction allowed us to easily collect an abundance of brlAxylP spores(>7.1×106/ml)in liquid xylose ***,the submerged conidiation approach preserves the substantial potential of *** as a foundational cellular platform for the biosynthesis of organic acids,including but not limited to l-malic *** summary,our study offers a simplified submerged conidiation strategy to streamline the preparation stage and reduce labor and material costs for industrial organic acid production using Aspergillus species.

The RFI Fast Mitigation Algorithm Based on Block lMS Filter

Research on Performance Optimization of Spark Distributed Computing Platform

Spark,a distributed computing platform,has rapidly developed in the field of big *** in-memory computing feature reduces disk read overhead and shortens data processing time,making it have broad application prospects in large-scale computing applications such as machine learning and image ***,the performance of the Spark platform still needs to be *** a large number of tasks are processed simultaneously,Spark’s cache replacementmechanismcannot identify high-value data partitions,resulting inmemory resources not being fully utilized and affecting the performance of the Spark *** address the problem that Spark’s default cache replacement algorithm cannot accurately evaluate high-value data partitions,firstly the weight influence factors of data partitions are modeled and ***,based on this weighted model,a cache replacement algorithm based on dynamic weighted data value is proposed,which takes into account hit rate and data *** integration and usage strategies are implemented based on lRU(leastRecentlyUsed).Theweight update algorithm updates the weight value when the data partition information changes,accurately measuring the importance of the partition in the current job;the cache removal algorithm clears partitions without useful values in the cache to releasememory resources;the weight replacement algorithm combines partition weights and partition information to replace RDD partitions when memory remaining space is ***,by setting up a Spark cluster environment,the algorithm proposed in this paper is experimentally *** have shown that this algorithmcan effectively improve cache hit rate,enhance the performance of the platform,and reduce job execution time by 7.61%compared to existing improved algorithms.

Modulation of internal electric field engineering of bifunctional multi-interfacial heterojunction photocatalysts for photocatalytic H2 and H_(2)O_(2)production

The purposeful construction of dual Z-scheme system to the formation of intimate interface contact and multi-channel charge flow through the system remains a huge ***,a tandem 2D/0D/2D g-C_(3)N_(4)nanosheets/FeOOH quantum dots/ZnIn_(2)S_(4)nanosheets(CNFeZn)dual Z-scheme system(DZSS)has been successfully constructed using electrostatic self-assembly *** to the band structure and elaborate morphology of 2D g-C_(3)N_(4),0D FeOOH and 2D ZnIn_(2)S_(4)in unique designed DZSS,plenty of spatial charge transfer channels are formed between the g-C_(3)N_(4)/FeOOH and FeOOH/ZnIn_(2)S_(4)interfaces,which greatly accelerate the charge separation and *** bifunctional catalysts,CNFeZn DZSS achieves the highest H_(2)evolution rate of~436.6 mmol/h with a great promotion of~10.6 folds and~6.9 folds compared to pristine g-C_(3)N_(4)and ZnIn_(2)S_(4),***,the H_(2)O_(2)production rate reached~301.19 mmol/l after 60 min irradiation,up to~5.1 times and~2.3 times that of pristine g-C_(3)N_(4)and ZnIn_(2)S_(4).Experiment and DFT calculation further confirmed that the stable double built-in electronic field can be formed owing to the electron configuration between double interfaces,and reveal that the ample atomic-level charge transfer channels were established in the strong interaction connected double interfaces,which can act as the charge migration pathway promote the separation of photogenerated charges.
