The rapid evolution of portable and wearable electronic devices has fueled the development of smart functional textiles that are able to conduct electricity,sense body movements,or store *** main challenge inhibiting the further development of functional textile-based electronics is the lack of robust functional fibers with suitable electrical,electrochemical and sensing ***,an emerging family of two-dimensional(2D)materials,have shown to be promising candidates for producing functional fibers due to their exceptional electrical and electrochemical properties combined with solution *** unique ability of MXenes to readily form liquid crystal phases in various solvents has allowed them to generate additive-free fibers using a wet spinning *** this work,we review the recent exciting developments in the fabrication of neat MXenes fibers and present a critical evaluation of practical challenges in MXenes processing that influence the macroscale material properties and the performance of the subsequent *** also provide our assessment for the future opportunities and challenges in producing MXene fibers to help pave the way for their widespread use in advanced wearable applications.

Securing multi-chain consensus against diverse miner behavior attacks in blockchain networks

As cross-chain technologies enable interactions among different blockchains(hereinafter“chains”),multi-chain consensus is becoming increasingly important in blockchain ***,more attention has been paid to single-chain consensus ***-chain consensus schemes with trusted miner participation have not been considered,thus offering opportunities for malicious users to launch diverse miner behavior(DMB)attacks on different *** attackers can be friendly in the consensus process on some chains,called mask chains,to enhance their trust value,while on others,called kill chains,they engage in destructive behaviors on the *** this paper,we propose a multi-chain consensus scheme named Proof-of-DiscTrust(PoDT)to defend against DMB *** idea of distinctive trust(DiscTrust)is introduced to evaluate the trust value of each user across different *** trustworthiness of a user is split into local and global trust values.A dynamic behavior prediction scheme is designed to enforce DiscTrust to prevent an intensive DMB attacker from maintaining strong trust by alternately creating true or false blocks on the kill *** trusted miner selection algorithms for multi-chain environments can be implemented to select network miners,chain miners,and chain miner leaders,*** results show that PoDT is secure against DMB attacks and more effective than traditional consensus schemes in multi-chain environments.

PCAF-mediated acetylation of METTL3 impairs mR NA translation efficiency in response to oxidative stress

METTL3 methylates RNA and regulates the fate of mRNA through its methyltransferase activity. METTL3 enhances RNA translation independently of its catalytic activity. However, the underlying mechanism is still elusive. Here, we report that METTL3 is both interacted with and acetylated at lysine 177 by the acetyltransferase PCAF and deacetylated by SIRT3. Neither the methyltransferase activity nor the stability of METTL3 is affected by its acetylation at K177. Importantly, acetylation of METTL3 blocks its interaction with EIF3H, a subunit of the translation initiation factor, thereby reducing mRNA translation efficiency. Interestingly, acetylation of METTL3 responds to oxidative stress. Mechanistically, oxidative stress enhances the interaction of PCAF with METTL3, increases METTL3 acetylation, and suppresses the interaction of METTL3 with EIF3H, thereby decreasing the translation efficiency of ribosomes and inhibiting cell proliferation. Altogether,we suggest a mechanism by which oxidative stress regulates RNA translation efficiency by the modulation of METTL3 acetylation mediated by PCAF.

二维过渡金属碳/氮化物(MXene)是一类新型二维纳米材料的统称,具有优异的电学、力学性能以及丰富、可调的表面化学特性,在功能材料领域受到了广泛的关注。MXene可以分散在多种溶剂中形成高浓度分散液,超过临界浓度后会表现出向列相液晶特性,使得其可以通过湿法纺丝工艺制备宏观连续的纤维。MXene纤维表现出高电导率、热导率、机械强度等性质,在未来新一代可穿戴电子设备中有非常好的应用前景。本文首先介绍了MXene及其合成方法,随后介绍了MXene基纤维制备的四种常见途径,最后总结了湿法纺丝制备纯MXene纤维和MXene基复合纤维的发展现状及其在可穿戴电子领域的应用,并对湿法纺丝MXene基纤维的未来发展方向和挑战进行了展望,为后续MXene基纤维的研究提供借鉴思路。

Distribution law and susceptibility of geohazards across a gradient belt of the Western Sichuan Plateau

Across a gradient belt of the Western Sichuan Plateau,geohazards have seriously limited economic and social *** to incomplete statistics,15,673 geohazards have been recorded in the study *** order to mitigate the threat of geohazards to human engineering activities in the region,an overall understanding of the distribution pattern of geohazards and susceptibility assessment are *** this paper,a gradient belt of the Western Sichuan Plateau and its zoning criteria were ***,on the basis of relief amplitude,distance to faults,rainfall,and human activities,three indicators of endogenic process were introduced:Bouguer gravity anomaly gradient,vertical deformation gradient,and horizontal deformation ***,the distribution patterns of geohazards were investigated through mathematical statistics and ArcGIS *** randomly selecting 10,449 hazards,a geohazard susceptibility map was generated using the Information Value(IV)***,the IV model was validated against 5224 hazards using the Area Under Curve(AUC)*** results show that 47.6%of the geohazards were distributed in the zone of steep *** showed strong responses to distance to faults,human activities,and annual *** distribution of geohazards in the gradient belt of the Western Sichuan Plateau is more sensitive to vertical internal dynamics factors(such as vertical deformation gradient and Bouguer gravity anomaly gradient)without any apparent sensitivity to horizontal internal dynamics *** areas of high and very-high risk account for up to 32.22%,mainly distributed in the Longmenshan and Anning River *** to the AUC plot,the success rate of the IV model for generating the susceptibility map is 76%.This susceptibility map and geohazard distribution pattern can provide a reference for geological disaster monitoring,preparation of post-disaster emergency measures,and town planning.
