V0405 Dra:A New Deep and Low Mass Ratio Contact Binary with Extremely Fast Decrease in the Orbital Period

V0405 Dra is a W UMa-type binary *** on the TESS data,we have conducted an orbital period study and performed a light curve analysis for the *** orbital period study reveals that the O-C curve for V0405 Dra exhibits secular decrease at an extremely high rate of d P/dt=-2.71×10^(-6)day year^(-1),along with periodic variations characterized by an amplitude of A_(3)=0.0032 day and a period of P_(3)=1.413 *** orbital periodic change is possibly due to the light-travel time effect resulting from an additional third body in the system,for which we estimate a minimum mass of M_(3)=0.77M_(⊙).By employing the 2013 version of the Wilson-Devinney(W-D)method to synthesize a light curve,we derived photometric solutions indicating that V0405 Dra is a new deep(f=68.7%)and low-mass ratio(q=0.175)contact *** fast decrease in its orbital period is likely caused by mass transfer from the more massive primary star to the less massive secondary star,or due to angular momentum *** further mass transfer and loss of angular momentum,the binary will gradually evolve into a tighter contact configuration,eventually leading to a merger into a single star,following the evolutionary paths suggested for such deep and low mass ratio contact binaries.

High Mountain Asia(HMA)shows a remarkable warming tendency and divergent trend of regional precipitation with enhanced meteorological *** rapid thawing of the HMA cryosphere may alter the magnitude and frequency of nature *** reviewed the influence of climate change on various types of nature hazards in HMA region,including their phenomena,mechanisms and *** reveals that:1)the occurrences of extreme rainfall,heavy snowfall,and drifting snow hazards are escalating;accelerated ice and snow melting have advanced the onset and increased the magnitude of snowmelt floods;2)due to elevating trigger factors,such as glacier debuttressing and the rapid shift of thermal and hydrological regime of bedrock/snow/ice interface or subsurface,the mass flow hazards including bedrock landslide,snow avalanche,ice-rock avalanches or glacier detachment,and debris flow will become more severe;3)increased active-layer detachment and retrogressive thaw slumps slope failures,thaw settlement and thermokarst lake will damage many important engineering structures and infrastructure in permafrost region;4)multi-hazards cascading hazard in HMA,such as the glacial lake outburst flood(GLOF)and avalanche-induced mass flow may greatly enlarge the destructive power of the primary hazard by amplifying its volume,mobility,and impact force;and 5)enhanced slope instability and sediment supply in the highland areas could impose remote catastrophic impacts upon lowland regions,and threat hydropower security and future water *** future,ongoing thawing of HMA will profoundly weaken the multiple-phase material of bedrock,ice,water,and soil,and enhance activities of nature *** and cascading hazards of high magnitude will prevail in *** the glacier runoff overpasses the peak water,low flow or droughts in lowland areas downstream of glacierized mountain regions will became more frequent and *** escalating hazards in the HMA region requires tackling s

Synthesis of NaY zeolite from a submolten depolymerized perlite:Alkalinity effect and crystallization kinetics

NaY zeolites are synthesized using submolten salt depolymerized natural perlite mineral as the main silica and alumina sources in a 0.94 L stirred *** of alkalinity ranging from 0.38 to 0.55(n(Na_(2)O)/n(SiO_(2)))on the relative crystallinity,textural properties and crystallization kinetics were *** results show that alkalinity exerts a nonmonotonic influence on the relative crystallinity and textural properties,which exhibit a maximum at the alkalinity of *** nucleation kinetics are studied by fitting the experimental data of relative crystallinity with the Gualtieri *** is shown that the nucleation rate constant increases with increasing alkalinity,while the duration period of nucleation decreases with increasing *** n(Na_(2)O)/n(SiO_(2))ratios ranging from 0.38 to 0.55,the as-synthesized NaY zeolites exhibit narrower crystal size distributions with the increase in *** growth rates determined from the variations of average crystal size with time are 51.09,157.50,46.17 and 24.75 nm·h^(-1),*** is found that the larger average crystal sizes at the alkalinity of 0.38 and 0.43 are attributed to the dominant role of crystal growth over ***,the combined action of prominent crystal growth and the longer duration periods of nucleation at the alkalinity of 0.38 and 0.43 results in broader crystal size *** findings demonstrate that control of the properties of NaY zeolite and the crystallization kinetics can be achieved by conducting the crystallization process in an appropriate range of alkalinity of the reaction mixture.

Interface structure of α-Mg/14H-LPSO:First-principles prediction and experimental study

The interfacial structure of the α-Mg/14H-LPSO phase in rare earth-including magnesium alloy was investigated via high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscopy（HAADFSTEM） imaging and first-principles calculations of density-functional *** possible interfacial models were constructed according to the different terminations of the LPSO phase,and the corresponding interfacial energies were calculated,from which the four most stable structures（Terl-MgY-hollow,Ter2-Zn-hollow,Ter3-MgYII-hollow and Ter4-Mg-bridge） were *** interfacial phase diagrams related to the Y chemical potentials were obtained from the calculations,and the most stable interfacial structure was ***-MgY-hollow and Ter2-Zn-hollow have the lowest interfacial energies in the range of-0.7 eV <Δμγ<-0.6 eV,where fluctuating change of state is the minimized and the interface is the most *** separation work of the two models was calculated to predict the bonding strength of the structures at both ends of the *** calculation results show that the maximum interfacial separation work is 1.45 J/m2for the interface model of α-Mg and 14H-LPSO phase structure with Ter2-Zn-hollow termination.

Leaching behavior and microstructure of phosphorus in converter slag

Converter slag is a by-product of the steelmaking process and contains a large amount of Ca,Fe,P and other *** the phosphorus in the converter slag can be effectively extracted,the resulting phosphorus can be used as a phosphate *** in converter slag is mainly enriched in 2CaO·SiO_(2)-3CaO·P_(2)O_(5)(C_(2)S-C_(3)P)solid solution and is easily dissolved in ***,acid leaching method was used to dissolve the solid solution to extract phosphorus in converter slag,so as to realize the recycling of phosphorus resources in converter *** leaching behavior of three actual converter slags from different steel mills in acid leaching solutions composed of citric acid,sodium hydroxide,hydrochloric acid and deionized water was studied by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy combined with energy dispersive spectrometry,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy to reveal the change in object image structure as well as SiO_(4) and PO_(4) tetrahedron before and after acid *** results show that only a small amount of phosphorus in converter slag with too low basicity is enriched in C_(2)S-C_(3)P solid solution,resulting in poor leaching *** the converter slag has a high basicity,the removal effect of phosphorus is 70.64%-81.88%.In addition,when the basicity of converter slag is roughly the same,the dephosphorization effect of slag with high FeO content is relatively *** acid leaching will cause depolymerization behavior of SiO_(4) and PO_(4) tetrahedron,so that the mole fraction of Q0(Si)(asymmetric stretching vibration of Si-O bond in SiO_(4) tetrahedron with bridge oxygen number of 0)and NBO/Si(non-bridging oxygen in silicate tetrahedra)will ***-containing solids can be obtained from the solution after acid leaching through static precipitation,and the solids have the potential to make phosphate fertilizers.

Associations of serum D-dimer and glycosylated hemoglobin levels with third-trimester fetal growth restriction in gestational diabetes mellitus

BACKGROUND Gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)is a special type of diabetes that commonly occurs in women during pregnancy and involves impaired glucose tolerance and abnormal glucose metabolism;GDM is diagnosed for the first time during pregnancy and can affect fetal growth and *** To investigate the associations of serum D-dimer(D-D)and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)levels with third-trimester fetal growth restriction(FGR)in GDM *** The clinical data of 164 pregnant women who were diagnosed with GDM and delivered at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University from January 2021 to January 2023 were analyzed *** these women,63 whose fetuses had FGR were included in the FGR group,and 101 women whose fetuses had normal body weights were included in the normal body weight group(normal group).Fasting venous blood samples were collected from the elbow at 28-30 wk gestation and 1-3 d before delivery to measure serum D-D and HbA1c levels for comparative *** diagnostic value of serum D-D and HbA1c levels for FGR was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic analysis,and the influencing factors of third-trimester FGR in GDM patients were analyzed by logistic *** Serum fasting blood glucose,fasting insulin,D-D and HbA1c levels were significantly greater in the FGR group than in the normal group,while the homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance values were lower(P<0.05).Regarding the diagnosis of FGR based on serum D-D and HbA1c levels,the areas under the curves(AUCs)were 0.826 and 0.848,the cutoff values were 3.04 mg/L and 5.80%,the sensitivities were 81.0%and 79.4%,and the specificities were 88.1%and 87.1%,*** AUC of serum D-D plus HbA1c levels for diagnosing FGR was 0.928,and the sensitivity and specificity were 84.1%and 91.1%,*** D-D and HbA1c levels were risk factors for third-trimester FGR in GDM patients(P<0.05).CONCLUSION D-D and HbA1c levels can
