Enhancement of low-temperature toughness of Fe-Mn-C-Al alloy by rare earth Ce-modified inclusions

Fe-Mn-C-Al alloys have been recognized as promising materials for certain low-temperature applications due to their exceptional mechanical properties and ***,their limited low-temperature toughness restricts their large-scale applications in specific *** influence of trace amounts of rare earth cerium(Ce)on the low-temperature toughness of Fe-18Mn-0.6C-1.8Al alloys was *** addition of Ce effectively alters the inclu-sions in the alloy,transforming large-sized irregular inclusions into fine ellipsoidal rare earth *** leads to a significant reduction in both the proportion and average size of the inclusions,resulting in their effective dispersion throughout the matrix and improved cryogenic *** presence of Ce-containing inclusions within the matrix reduces stress concentration,thereby inhibiting microcrack formation and improving impact absorption ***-cally,the addition of rare earth Ce alters the fracture behavior of the material at room temperature and low temperature,changing from brittle cleavage fracture to a more ductile failure *** impact toughness of the Fe-Mn-C-Al alloy is significantly improved by the addition of 0.0048 wt.%Ce,particularly at-196℃where the impact toughness reaches 103.6 J/cm^(2),representing an impressive improvement of 87.3%.

Spatial and temporal variation of water clarity in typical reservoirs in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region observed by GF 1-WFV satellite data

Rapidly monitoring regional water quality and the changing trend is of great practical and scientific significance,especially for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH)region of China where water resources are relatively scarce and inland water bodies are generally *** remote sensing data of the GF 1 satellite launched in 2013 have characteristics of high spatial and temporal resolution,which can be used for the dynamic monitoring of the water environment in small lakes and ***,the water quality remote sensing monitoring model based on the GF 1 satellite data for lakes and reservoirs in BTH is still lacking because of the considerable differences in the optical characteristics of the lakes and *** this paper,the typical reservoirs in BTH-Guanting Reservoir,Yuqiao Reservoir,Panjiakou Reservoir,and Daheiting Reservoir are taken as the study *** the atmospheric correction of GF 1-WFV,the relative radiation normalized atmospheric correction was adopted after comparing it with other methods,such as 6 S and *** the water clarity retrieval,a water color hue angle based model was proposed and outperformed other available published models,with the R 2 of 0.74 and MRE of 31.7%.The clarity products of the four typical reservoirs in the BTH region in 2013-2019 were produced using the GF 1-WFV *** on the products,temporal and spatial changes in clarity were analyzed,and the main influencing factors for each water body were *** was found that the clarity of Guanting,Daheiting,and Panjiakou reservoirs showed an upward trend during this period,while that of Yuqiao Reservoir showed a downward *** the influencing factors,the water level of the water bodies can be an important factor related to the water clarity changes in this region.

Data-driven surrogate model for aerodynamic design using separable shape tensor method

In the context of increasing dimensionality of design variables and the complexity of con-straints,the effcacy of Surrogate-Based Optimization(Sbo)is *** traditional linear and nonlinear dimensionality reduction algorithms are mainly to decompose the mathematical matrix composed of design variables or objective functions in various forms,the smoothness of the design space cannot be guaranteed in the process,and additional constraint functions need to be added in the optimization,which increases the calculation *** study presents a new parameterization method to improve both problems of *** new parameterization is addressed by decoupling affine transformations(dilation,rotation,shearing,and translation)within the Grassmannian sub-manifold,which enables a separate representation of the physical information of the airfoil in a high-dimensional *** upon this,Principal Geodesic Analysis(PGA)is employed to achieve geometric control,compress the design space,reduce the number of design variables,reduce the dimensions of design variables and enhance predictive performance during the surrogate optimiza-tion *** comparison,a dimensionality reduction space is defined using 95%of the energy,and RAE 2822 for transonic conditions are used as *** method significantly enhances the optimization efficiency of the surrogate model while effectively enabling geometric *** three-dimensional problems,it enables simultaneous design of planar shapes for various components of the aircraft and high-order perturbation *** was applied to the ONERA M6 wing,achieving a lift-drag ratio of 18.09,representing a 27.25%improvement com-pared to the baseline *** comparison to conventional surrogate model optimization methods,which only achieved a 17.97%improvement,this approach demonstrates its superiority.

Highly selective photocatalytic oxidation of methane to methyl hydroperoxide

Partial oxidation of methane into primary oxidation products with high value remains a *** this work,photocatalytic oxidation of methane(CH_(4))with high methyl hydroperoxide(CH_(3)OOH)selectivity is achieved using pure titanium oxide(TiO_(2))without any cocatalyst at room temperature and atmospheric *** CH_(3)OOH production rate can reach up to 2050±88μmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1) at pH≈7.0 with 100%selectivity in the liquid *** stable reaction cycle can reach more than 30 *** low-cost system achieves superior CH_(4) conversion activity and selectivity compared with similar *** energy of hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))to adsorbed hydroperoxyl radical(^(*)OOH)has a significantly lower reaction energy than conversion to adsorbed hydroxyl radical(*OH)on the(210)surface of the TiO_(2).The^(*)OOH preferentially combines with methyl radical(·CH_(3))to form the most energetically favorable CH_(3)*** mild oxidative environment of this system prevents the reduction of CH_(3)OOH to CH_(3)OH or over-oxidation of CH_(4),which ensures the final CH_(3)OOH with high selectivity and *** work provided a low-cost but highly efficient method to achieve partial oxidation with superior selectivity,i.e.,to convert CH_(4) into high-value chemicals.

Data on discrete,isolated attributes of the marine economy are often used in traditional marine economic ***,as the focus of urban research shifts from internal static attributes to external dynamic linkages,the importance of marine economic net-work research is beginning to *** construction of the marine economic network in China’s coastal areas is necessary to change the flow of land and sea resources and optimize regional marine economic *** data from headquarters and branches of sea-related A-share listed enterprises to construct the marine economic network in China,we use social network analysis(SNA)to discuss the characteristics of its evolution as of 2010,2015,and 2020 and its *** following results were obtained.1)In terms of topological characteristics,the scale of the marine economic network in China’s coastal areas has accelerated and expan-ded,and the connections have become increasingly close;thus,this development has complex network characteristics.2)In terms of spatial structure,the intensity of the connection fluctuates and does not form stable development support;the group structure gradually becomes clear,but the overall pattern is fragmented;there are spatial differences in marine economic agglomeration radiation;the radi-ation effect of the eastern marine economic circle is obvious;and the polarization effect of northern and southern marine economic circles is *** this basis,we construct a framework for the governance of a marine economic network with the market,the government,and industry as the three governing *** clarifying the driving factors and building objectives of marine economic network construction,this study aims to foster the high-quality development of China’s marine economy.

Polymer microspheres(PMs),such as polyacrylamide,have been widely applied for enhanced oil recovery(EOR),yet with environmental ***,we report a microfluid displacement technology containing a bio-based eco-friendly material,i.e.,calcium alginate(CaAlg)microspheres for *** dominant mechanisms responsible for EOR over Ca Alg fluid have been verified,including the microscopic oil displacement efficacy augmented by regulating capillary force(determined by the joint action of interfacial tension and wettability between different phases)and macroscopic sweep volume increment through profile control and mobility ratio *** comprehensive effectiveness can be further impacted when the CaAlg microsphere is embellished ulteriorly by using appropriate amount of sodium dodecyl sulfonate(SDS).The core flooding and nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)tests demonstrate that CaAlg-SDS microsphere can balance the interphase property regulation(wettability alteration and IFT reduction)and rheology properties,enabling simultaneous profile control and oil *** introduction of SDS will have a negative impact on rheological properties,which is not favored for *** results show that the involvement of 4-m M SDS will provide the best behavior,with an EOR rate of 34.38%.This cost-effective and environmentally-friendly bio-microspherebased microfluidic displacement technology is expected to achieve“green”oil recovery in future oilfield exploitation.

Access to High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylenes through High Temperature Ethylene Polymerization Catalysed by Ethylene-Bridged ansa-(3-R-Cyclopentadienyl)(Fluorenyl) Zirconocene Complexes

A series of C1-symmetric ethylene-bridged ansa-(3-R-cyclopentadienyl)(fluorenyl) metallocene complexes(Zr: 1-5;Hf: 6) have been synthesized, characterized and investigated as catalyst precursors for the high temperature ethylene polymerization. Using methylaluminoxane(MAO) as the cocatalyst, zirconium complexes 1-5 bearing a bulky substituent on the 3-position of the cyclopendienyl ring showed high catalytic activities up to 1.48×10^(7) g PE·mol_(Zr)^(-1)·h^(-1) toward the polymerization of ethylene and afforded polyethylenes with high molecular weights(1.49×10^(5)-6.31×10^(5) g/mol), meanwhile exhibting great thermal stability at high temperatures up to 120 ℃ together with a long catalytic life time up to 2 h. By adopting low Al/Zr ratios, such as 125, polyethylenes with ultra high molecular weights up to 2.86×106 g/mol were obtained. It is worthy of noting that zirconium complexes 1-4 bearing a substituent with an aryl pendant showed temperature-dependent activities, which increased rapidly with the increase of polymerization temperature, thus weak interaction of the pendent aryl group with the cationic active center is proposed to account for the very low activities displayed at low temperatures. In contrast to zirconocene complexes 1-5, hafnocene complex 6 only displayed very low catalytic activities toward the polymerization of ethylene and afforded polyethylenes with molecular weights ten times smaller than those obtained by zirconocene complexes 1-5. Zirconocene complexes 1-5 were also able to catalyse the polymerization of propylene at high temperatures, but only afforded waxes with low molecular weights.
