A Microenvironment, Rather than Chemical, Initiates the Cardiomyogenic Differentiation of Marrow Stromal Cells

To investigate the potential of cardiomyogenic differentiation of rat bone marrow stromal cells (MSCs), they were exposed to 5-azacytidine tretments (single/repeat) at varying concentrations (3, 5, 1. μmol/L) and the fates of the cells were analyzed by immunocytochemistry, Western blot and the reporter gene of enhanced cyan fluorescent protein (ECFP) under the control of ventricular myosin light chain 2 (MLC2v) promoter. MSCs were also cocultured with cardiomyocytes for periods up to 1. days, the expression of cardiac myosin heavy chain (MHC) and troponin I (Tn I) proteins was analyzed. After the induction with 5-azacytidine, neither spontaneously beating cells nor myotubes were found; MHC and Tn I proteins were also undetectable and no ECFP-positive MSCs were detected. But when cocultured with cardiomyocytes, spontaneously contracting MSCs were observed and cardiac specific proteins could be detected. The results proved that the novel effects of 5-azacytidine on the cardiomyogenic differentiation of MSCs should be questioned and a direct intercellular communication with cardiomyocytes is necessary for MSCs to differentiate into cardiomyocytes. This paper presents stabilizing controller design for a class of continuous-time T-S fuzzy systems. The main result concerns the stabilization based on fuzzy Lyapunov function approaches. Unlike the fuzzy Lyapunov function approaches reported in the literatures, the time-derivatives of membership functions do not appear in the design procedure and sufficient conditions for the solvability of the controller design problem are given in the form of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs） by applying some matrix transformations together with slack variables with special structure.

This paper is concerned with an investment and consumption problem in an incomplete market and takes quadratic utility function for our analysis. We firstly transform an incomplete market into complete one and derive the optimal investment and consumption strategy in the completed market by applying dynamic programming and Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman（HJB） equation. Finally, a closed-form solution in an incomplete market is obtained according to the parameters relationship between the completed market and the original incomplete one.

In this paper, the continuously optimal location problem is considered. The strong convexity of the objective function, the Lipschitz continuity of the gradient of the objective function are proved. Furthermore, a variant of conjugate gradient method for continuously optimal location problem is presented and its global convergence is analyzed.

Pharmacokinetic Study on Hyperoside in Beagle’s Dogs

Objective To develop and validate a simple, rapid, sensitive, and reproducible HPLC method for determination of hyperoside in plasma of dogs and for the subsequent pharmacokinetic (PK) study. Methods An accurate and reproducible HPLC-UV method was developed and validated for the determination of hyperoside in plasma of dogs, using kaempferol as internal standard. The plasma samples of dogs following ig administration of hyperoside were analyzed for the detection of quercetin after enzymatic hydrolysis treatment with combined β-glucuronidase and sulphatase. The analytes were separated on a Diamonsil C 1. column (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm). The mobile phase consisted of methanol-buffer solution (0.1.mol/L NH 4 Ac + 0.3 mmol/L EDTA-Na 2 )-acetic acid (60:40:1. and was delivered at a flow rate of 1.mL/min. The UV detector was set at 370 nm and the column temperature was maintained at 35 ℃. The sample injection volume was 20 μL. Data were collected and analyzed using the ANASTAR software. PK parameters were calculated with DAS software (2.0). Results Linear relationships were validated over the range of 0.01.1.μg/mL for hyperoside (r = 0.9997). The intra- and inter-day precision values for all samples were within 1..0%, and the accuracies of intra- and inter-day assays were within the range of 92.4%-1.2.4%. The validated method was successfully used to determine the hyperoside concentration in plasma of dogs for up to 1. h, after a single ig administration (25 mg/kg). The mean PK parameters for male and female dogs were as follows: C max (0.1. ± 0.05) and (0.1. ± 0.05) μg/mL, AUC 0-∞ (0.79 ± 0.34) and (0.86 ± 0.27) μg/(mL·h), t 1.2(ka) (0.89 ± 0.41. and (0.88 ± 0.28) h, respectively. Statistical analysis on the PK of hyperoside in male and female groups showed that sex had no significant impact on the PK of hyperoside (P > 0.05). Conclusion The method is able and sufficient to be used in drug PK studies of hyperoside.

为了明确微小花蝽以小菜蛾卵做为饲料的适宜性及其对小菜蛾的控制能力,在室内以桃蚜作为参比猎物,研究捕食小菜蛾卵对微小花蝽生长发育、繁殖的影响,并结合捕食功能反应评价微小花蝽对小菜蛾的捕食能力.结果表明:微小花蝽取食小菜蛾卵能够完成世代发育,并能够正常繁育后代.取食小菜蛾卵时,微小花蝽雌、雄若虫的历期(♀:1..3 d,♂:1..2d)、成虫体长[♀:(2.1.±0.01.mm,♂:(1.91.0.00)mm]、体宽[♀:(0.87±0.01.mm,♂:(0.71.0.01.mm]、单雌产卵量(1..7±1.1.、产卵前期[(5.1.0.6)d]和产卵期[(3.7±0.4)d]均与桃蚜处理组无显著差异;雌、雄成虫寿命[♀:(1..7±1.4)d,♂:(9.1.1.3)d]显著长于桃蚜处理组[♀:(8.5±0.5)d,♂:(6.4±0.3)d];若虫存活率[(65.0±6.8)%]不及桃蚜处理组[(80.0±8.2)%],且雌性比例偏低.微小花蝽对小菜蛾的捕食功能反应符合HollingⅡ型方程.微小花蝽1.5龄若虫对小菜蛾卵的日均最大捕食量(N_(max))分别为7.5、1..3、23.3、29.1.38.7粒;雌、雄成虫的日均最大捕食量分别为39.0和26.9粒;5龄若虫对小菜蛾低龄幼虫的日均最大捕食量为41.3头;雌、雄成虫的日均最大捕食量分别为40.8和23.9头.单头雌、雄微小花蝽一生中最多可捕食小菜蛾卵(71..3±58.1.和(535.4±30.6)粒,小菜蛾低龄幼虫(371.9±52.0)和(253.9±32.3)头.微小花蝽以小菜蛾卵饲养可行,且对小菜蛾具有良好的控制作用.

this paper proposes a method for obtaining a reasonably accurate evaluation function of a game situation through the data of games and the situation feature matrix. An accurate evaluation function is indispensable for a strong computer game program. A game situation is projected into a feature matrix which consists of feature variates charactering the situation. Using variates as input and employ a multi-layer perception as a nonlinear evaluation function. Since it is not easy to obtain accurate evaluated values of situations, the reinforcement adaptive-learning is employed. Experiments using 1.4 games show that the proposed method works well in obtaining a very accurate evaluation function for Dots-and-Boxes.

Radiative lifetimes of Rydberg states of BeⅠand BeⅢ

By using the multichannel quantum defect theory （MQDT）, we have evaluated the energy levels and lifetimes of 2sns （）3S1.2snd（）3D（n=3-25） of BeⅠ and 1.ns（）3S1.1.nd （）3D（n=3-25） of BeⅢ. These energies and lifetimes that we have calculated not only agree with the recent measurements and theoretical calculation of Ref.4 and Ref.3, but also predict the lifetimes of 66 other highly excited states.
