The South China Sea is a hotspot for regional climate *** the past 40 years,considerable improvement has been made in the development and utilization of the islands in the South China Sea,leading to a substantial change in the land-use of the ***,research on the impact of human development on the local climate of these islands is *** study analyzed the characteristics of local climate changes on the islands in the South China Sea based on data from the Yongxing Island Observation Station and ERA5 ***,the influence of urbanization on the local climate of the South China Sea islands was explored in this *** findings revealed that the 10-year average temperature in Yongxing Island increased by approximately 1.11℃from 1961 to 2020,and the contribution of island development and urbanization to the local warming rate over 60 years was approximately 36.2%.The linear increasing trend of the annual hot days from 1961–2020 was approximately 14.84 days per *** diurnal temperature range exhibited an increasing trend of 0.05℃per decade,whereas the number of cold days decreased by 1.06days per *** rapid increase in construction on Yongxing Island from 2005 to 2021 led to a decrease in observed surface wind speed by 0.32 m s^(-1)per ***,the number of days with strong winds decreased,whereas the number of days with weak winds ***,relative humidity exhibited a rapid decline from 2001 to 2016 and then *** study also found substantial differences between the ERA5 re-analysis and observation data,particularly in wind speed and relative humidity,indicating that the use of re-analysis data for climate resource assessment and climate change evaluation on island areas may not be feasible.

An Efficient Local Radial Basis Function Method for Image Segmentation Based on the chan-Vese Model

In this paper,we consider the chan–Vese(C-V)model for image segmentation and obtain its numerical solution accurately and *** this purpose,we present a local radial basis function method based on a Gaussian kernel(GA-LRBF)for spatial *** to the standard radial basis functionmethod,this approach consumes less CPU time and maintains good stability because it uses only a small subset of points in the whole computational ***,since the Gaussian function has the property of dimensional separation,the GA-LRBF method is suitable for dealing with isotropic ***,a numerical scheme that couples GA-LRBF with the fourth-order Runge–Kutta method is applied to the C-V model,and a comparison of some numerical results demonstrates that this scheme achieves much more reliable image segmentation.

东西部协作为缓解西部地区温饱问题、消除绝对贫困与缩小区域发展差距贡献了重要的制度力量。不同于已有研究多从府际合作及横向转移支付视角探讨对口支援与东西部协作的制度设计与实践过程,本文构建了迈向共同富裕的东西部协作理论分析框架,并引入制度性集体行动分析框架对各阶段东西部协作的协作困境与机制演进展开整体论述。基于闽宁协作1996—2022年联席会议纪要与调研事实,总结出达成发展共识、互学互助、产业协作、人才交流与社会动员等五个行动路径,并对如何助力形成益贫性经济增长、包容性社会发展和多维度扶贫开发的可持续减贫格局进行分析。这些发现既有助于启示发展中国家未来实现可持续发展目标的贫困协同治理,也可为中国在共同富裕目标下进一步优化东西部协作制度促进乡村全面振兴提供参考。

Background:Physical inactivity is a major public health problem worldwide that results in physical and mental health *** major issue for physical inactivity is weight stigma(WS),especially perceived WS,which could lead to a tendency to avoid physical activity(PA).To better understand the association between perceived WS and PA,knowledge of the likely mediators in this association such as weight bias internalization(WBI)and psychological distress were investigated in the present ***:Using a two-wave longitudinal study and convenient sampling,388 Taiwan residents participants(55%females;mean age=29.7 years[SD±6.3])completed two surveys six months *** mass index(BMI),Perceived Weight Stigma Scale(PWSS),Weight Bias Internalization Scale(WBIS),Depression,Anxiety,Stress Scale(DASS-21),and Tendency to Avoid Physical Activity and Sport Scale(TAPAS)were ***:A mediation model controlling for age,gender,and BMI with 5000 bootstrapping resamples was *** WS exerted significant direct effects on WBI(β=0.25;p<0.001),psychological distress(β=0.15;p=0.003),and tendency to avoid PA(β=0.10;p=0.027);WBI exerted a significant direct effect on tendency to avoid PA(β=0.47;p<0.001).Standardized indirect effects of WBI and psychological distress on the association between perceived WS and tendency to avoid PA were 0.12 and 0.01,***:Given the direct association of perceived WS on the tendency to avoid PA and the mediating role of WBI in this association,interventions addressing perceived WS and WBI may contribute to promoting ***,health interventionists(both when planning and executing PA programs)need to consider weight stigmawhen encouraging physical activity.
