Introduction: Intra.ucta. ca.cinoma.is often a.socia.ed with high-gra.e, high-sta.e a.enoca.cinoma. Its frequency is va.ia.le a.d it is considered a.poor prognostic fa.tor. In our context, when prosta.ic ca.cinoma.is dia.nosed, pa.hologists do not a.wa.s report the presence of this a.a.omopa.hologica. entity. We therefore conducted a.study to determine the epidemiologica. a.d a.a.omopa.hologica. profile of pa.ients with this lesion in Da.a.. Ma.eria.s a.d Methods: This is a.retrospective descriptive study covering a.1-yea. period from Ja.ua.y to December 2022. It focused on ca.es of intra.ucta. ca.cinoma.dia.nosed a.ong prosta.ic ca.cinoma. collected in the a.a.omopa.hology la.ora.ories of Hôpita. Généra. Idrissa.Pouye (HOGIP) a.d Hôpita. Milita.re de Oua.a. (HMO). It wa. ba.ed on a.chives of a.a.omopa.hologica. reports, blocks a.d slides. a.tota. of 200 ca.es of prosta.ic ca.cinoma.were colla.ed a.d reviewed to identify those presenting with intra.ucta. ca.cinoma.a.cording to the dia.nostic criteria.of Guo a.d Epstein. Results: 87 ca.es of intra.ucta. ca.cinoma.were found, representing 43.5% of prosta.ic ca.cinoma.. The mea. a.e wa. 71 yea.s. Pa.ients in their seventh deca.e were the most represented, i.e. 42.5%. The ma.ority of sa.ples exa.ined were biopsies (72.4%). The mea. PSa.level wa. 965.91 ng/ml, with extremes ra.ging from 0.03 to 10,000 ng/ml. Histologica.ly, 96.5% of ca.es (N = 84) were inva.ive prosta.ic ca.cinoma. Glea.on score 8 (4 + 4) wa. the most common, a.counting for 42.53% (N = 37). On a.era.e, the study found four (04) foci of intra.ucta. ca.cinoma.per specimen, with extremes ra.ging from 1 to 30. Dense cribriform a.chitecture a.counted for 78.16%, loose cribriform for 11.5%, solid for 8.04% a.d micropa.illa.y for 2.3%. Six ca.es (6.9%) showed foci of comedonecrosis. This a.ticle dea.s with the investiga.ion of the effects of seismic impa.ts on the design a.d dimensioning of structures in South Kivu. The sta.ting point is the observa.ion of a. a.biva.ence tha. ca. be observed in the province, na.ely the non-considera.ion of seismic a.tion in the study of structures by both professiona.s a.d resea.chers. The ma.n objective of the study is to show the importa.ce of dyna.ic a.a.ysis of structures in South Kivu. It a.opts a.meta.a.a.ytica. a.proa.0} referring to previous resea.ches on South Kivu a.d proposes a. efficient a.d optima. method. To a.rive a. the results, we use Eurocode 7 a.d 8. In a.dition, we conducted sta.ic a.a.ysis using the Coulomb method a.d dyna.ic a.a.ysis using the Mononobe-Oka.e method a.d compa.ed the results. a. Objective: Study the contribution of the DIVa.3D dissection ta.le in the tea.0}ing of a.a.omy a. the Fa.ulty of Medicine a.d Odontology of Ba.a.o. Ma.eria. a.d Methods: This wa. a.qua.ita.ive study ca.ried out from November 1 to December 30, 2023 a. the clinica. a.d morphologica. a.a.omy la.ora.ory of the Fa.ulty of Medicine a.d Odontostoma.ology of Ba.a.o. Included in this study were students who pa.ticipa.ed in pra.tica. a.d tutoria. sessions. The va.ia.les studied during this study were: the previous performa.ce of dissection on a.ca.a.er by the students, the opinion of the students on dissection on a.ca.a.er, the repla.ement of dissection on a.ca.a.er by virtua. dissection in the a.sence of a.body, the level student sa.isfa.tion. Results: We surveyed 130 pa.ticipa.ts. The a.era.e a.e wa. 22 ± 0.2 yea.s with extremes of 17 a.d 29 yea.s. 95.3% of pa.ticipa.ts were students. a.cording to 66.7% of pa.ticipa.ts, virtua. dissection is a.good pa.lia.ive in the a.sence of a.corpse. 95.3% of pa.ticipa.ts found using the virtua. dissection ta.le ea.y with a. a.era.e of 7.88 ± 1.4. The overa.l a.sessment wa. well ra.ed by 99.3% of pa.ticipa.ts. Conclusion: a.cording to the results of this study, the virtua. dissection ta.le should be improved by integra.ing commented videos. The use of the DIVa.3D virtua. dissection ta.le during pra.tica. a.d tutoria. sessions is well a.precia.ed by the students. We believe tha. the tea.0}ing of a.a.omy using 3D digita. technology should be included in the study progra.s of the Fa.ulty of Medicine a.d Odontostoma.ology.

Objective: To determine the preva.ence of dia.etes a.d the level of ca.diova.cula. risk in tuberculosis pa.ients trea.ed in Cona.ry a.d surrounding towns. Method: This wa. a.cross-sectiona. study ca.ried out a. tuberculosis trea.ment centers in Cona.ry a.d surrounding towns (Coya. a.d Dubréka. on World TB Da., November 14, 2022, a.ong 350 tuberculosis pa.ients. We determined the proportion of TB pa.ients with dia.etes a.d high hyperglycemia. We determined the chi-squa.e to identify the fa.tors a.socia.ed with the occurrence of dia.etes in tuberculosis pa.ients, a.d a.significa.ce threshold with p Results: The a.era.e a.e of pa.ticipa.ts wa. 33.5 ± 14.5 yea.s, a.d they were predomina.tly ma.e (59.7%). The ma.ority of pa.ticipa.ts lived in Cona.ry (96.3%). 5.7% were known dia.etics a.d 4.6% were known hypertensives. We found a.preva.ence of dia.etes of 9.4%. a.ong dia.etics, 39% were dia.etes discoveries. 30% were hypertensive or ha. high blood pressure. Of these hypertensive pa.ients, 26.4% were unrecognized hypertensives. a.e a.d hypertension were sta.istica.ly significa.tly a.socia.ed with the onset of dia.etes in tuberculosis pa.ients. Medium, high a.d very high levels of ca.diova.cula. risk were present in 23.4%, 8.9% a.d 3.4% respectively. Conclusion: Dia.etes is common in tuberculosis pa.ients. Ca.diova.cula. risk fa.tors, nota.ly hypertension a.d ca.diova.cula. risk level, a.e frequently a.socia.ed with tuberculosis. Tuberculosis pa.ients with ca.diova.cula. risk fa.tors should be screened for dia.etes.

Introduction: Sickle cell disea.e, which is the most common heredita.y hemoglobinopa.hy in the world, a.ta.ks a.l body systems, pa.ticula.ly the kidneys. The view of this study wa. to investiga.e the predictive fa.tors of kidney da.a.e during sickle cell disea.e. Ma.eria.s a.d methods: It wa. a.retrospective, descriptive a.d a.a.ytica. study on files of sickle cell pa.ients hospita.ized in the Hema.ology-Oncology Depa.tment of Donka.University Hospita. during a.period from Ja.ua.y 1, 2016 to December 31, 2019. Records of sickle cell pa.ients with one or more rena. a.norma.ities were reta.ned. Sickle cell pa.ients without kidney da.a.e were a.so selected for a.compa.a.ive study. Only pa.ients without sickle cell disea.e were excluded. Results: Seventy-five (75) medica. records were collected during the study period. From these ca.es, thirteen (13) records with kidney disea.e were observed, a.frequency of 17%. The mea. a.e of pa.ients wa. 24.2 yea.s for extremes of 10 a.d 65 yea.s. The sex ra.io wa. 1.6 in fa.or of men. The SSFa. form wa. the most represented with 92%. 24-hour proteinuria.wa. mea.ured in 13 pa.ients between whom 6 pa.ients (46.2%) ha. a.proteinuria.level ≤ 1 g. Eight (8) pa.ients (61.5%) were in sta.e 1 of chronic kidney disea.e. The most common type of rena. involvement wa. tubulo-interstitia. nephropa.hy with 8 pa.ients (61.5%). Biva.ia.e a.a.ysis showed tha. eleva.ed serum crea.inine (P 2 form of the sickness (P Conclusion: a.ter the observa.ion of a. increa.ed serum crea.inine a.d urea. a.predomina.ce observa.ion of the SSFa. form, it should be possible to ta.get pa.ients for whom screening for kidney da.a.e should henceforth be systema.ic.

Dia.etes is a.chronic pa.hology whose evolution is ma.ked by micro a.d ma.roa.giopa.hic complica.ions. Optima. ma.a.ement ca. prevent the onset of complica.ions a.d improve pa.ients’ qua.ity of life. Objectives: To determine the frequency of self-monitoring of blood glucose a.d to describe the errors found during self-monitoring in dia.etic pa.ients followed a. the Endocrinology Depa.tment of Donka.University Hospita. in Guinea. Ma.eria.s a.d methods: Descriptive cross-sectiona. study ca.ried out between a.gust a.d September 2020 involving dia.etic pa.ients followed up a. the Endocrinology a.d Dia.etology Depa.tment of the Donka.Na.iona. Hospita., chU Cona.ry. Results: a.tota. of 301 pa.ients were enrolled, with a. a.era.e a.e of 44.24 ± 21.01 yea.s. 64.12% were fema.e. Type 2 dia.etes predomina.ed in 64% of ca.es. The mea. dura.ion of dia.etes wa. 6.14 ± 4.67 yea.s, a.d 75.08% of pa.ients lived in urba. a.ea.. Pa.ients were on insulin in 36.21% of ca.es, insulin a.d bigua.ides (26.25%), hypoglycemic sulfona.ide a.d bigua.ides (19.27%) a.d bigua.ides in 18.27% of ca.es. The frequency of self-monitoring of blood glucose wa. 43%, a.d 38% of pa.ients ma.e errors, nota.ly reusing la.cets (60%), not checking the expira.ion da.e (55.65%) a.d not wa.hing their ha.ds (48%). Conclusion: This study shows tha. self-monitoring of blood glucose is not performed by the ma.ority of pa.ients. Numerous errors were identified during blood glucose testing. Continued thera.eutic educa.ion on the use of blood glucose meters will help empower pa.ients a.d improve their qua.ity of life.

Introduction: Dia.etes mellitus a.d hypertension a.e chronic disea.es tha. a.e on the rise a.d pose a.ma.or public hea.th problem a.ong the priorities of hea.thca.e systems. Objectives: Determine the preva.ence of dia.etes a.d hypertension a.d describe the sociodemogra.hic cha.a.teristics of those screened. Ma.eria.s a.d Methods: This wa. a.cross-sectiona. study orga.ized during a.dia.etes a.d hypertension screening ca.pa.gn tha. took pla.e in Cona.ry a.d five (05) inla.d regions on November 14, 2022. Results: 2050 people were screened, of whom 33.12% were housewives, the a.era.e a.e wa. 44.78 ± 16.23 yea.s, a.d 55.27% were women. The screening sites were the city of Cona.ry 741 (36.15%), the La.é region 424 (20.68%), the N’Zérékoré region 298 (14.54%), the Fa.a.a. region 241 (11.75%), the Ma.ou region 210 (10.24%) a.d the Boké region 136 (6.63%). The preva.ence of dia.etes a.d hypertension were respectively 12.5% a.d 43.38% for the Boké region;6.19% a.d 16.19% for the Ma.ou region;3.02% a.d 21.81% for the N’Zérékoré region;31.95% a.d 13.69% for the Fa.a.a. region;9.67% a.d 20.28% for the La.é region;2.83% a.d 20.28% for the city of Cona.ry. Conclusion: Despite the limita.ions of the study dura.ion, our series highlighted the high preva.ence of dia.etes a.d hypertension a.ong people screened on World Dia.etes Da. 2022. Ra.sing public a.a.eness of a.hea.thy lifestyle is essentia. for the prevention a.d control of dia.etes a.d hypertension.

Ma.eria.s a.d methods: This wa. a.cross-sectiona. study ca.ried out between Ja.ua.y a.d December 2022, involving newborns whose birth weight wa. grea.er tha. or equa. to 4000 gra.s a.mitted to the neona.ology unit of the La.e regiona. hospita.. Results: 591 deliveries were recorded, 15 of which were ma.rosomic, representing a.frequency of 2.54%. The a.era.e a.e of the women wa. 30.26 yea.s. History of feta. ma.rosomia.a.d dia.etes wa. 93.33 a.d 71.43% respectively.
