Effect of Tuina on Neurodevelopment in Premature Infants with Brain Injury

Objective： To investigate the effect of tuina on promoting neurodevelopment of premature infants with brain injury. Methods： A total of 82 cases who met the inclusion criteria were randomized into an intervention group and a control group. In addition to early conventional intervention （Chinese medicinal bath therapy and physical training）, specific tuina manipulations （aims to unblock the Governor Vessel, refresh the brain, benefit the kidney and strengthen the spleen） were combined in the intervention group, whereas comforting touch in the control group. The rehabilitation assessments were then made prior to treatment and three months after the treatment using Gross Motor Function Measure （GMFM）, Bayley Scales of Infant Development-II （BSID-II） and Gesell Developmental Schedules （GDS） based Developmental Quotient （DQ）. Results： The DQ in all GDS areas and scores of GMFM A and B dimensions were significantly increased in both groups after the treatment （P〈0.01）. The DQ and population mean of GMFM B dimension in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group, showing statistical differences （P〈0.05）. However, in terms of Mental Development Index （MDI） and Physical Development Index （PDI） in both groups, there were no statistical differences before and after treatments. Conclusion： Both methods combined with conventional early intervention can help to improve the mental and motor development of infants with brain injury. However, the specific tuina manipulations have been proved more effective in improving the infants＇ gross motor function, particularly the ＂sitting＂ item.

BERT is a representative pre-trained language model that has drawn extensive attention for significant improvements in downstream Natural Language Processing(NLP)*** complex architecture and massive parameters bring BERT competitive performance but also result in slow speed at model inference *** speed up BERT inference,FastBERT realizes adaptive inference with an acceptable drop in accuracy based on knowledge distillation and the early-exit ***,many factors may limit the performance of FastBERT,such as the teacher classifier that is not knowledgeable enough,the batch size shrinkage and the redundant computation of student *** overcome these limitations,we propose a new BERT inference method with GPU-Efficient Exit Prediction(GEEP).GEEP leverages the shared exit loss to simplify the training process of FastBERT from two steps into only one step and makes the teacher classifier more knowledgeable by feeding diverse Transformer outputs to the teacher *** addition,the exit layer prediction technique is proposed to utilize a GPU hash table to handle the token-level exit layer distribution and to sort test samples by predicted exit *** this way,GEEP can avoid batch size shrinkage and redundant computation of student *** results on twelve public English and Chinese NLP datasets prove the effectiveness of the proposed *** source codes of GEEP will be released to the public upon paper acceptance.

Pseudosasa gracilis(Poaceae:Bambusoideae)is a temperate woody bamboo species endemic to Southcentral China with a narrow *** phylogenetic studies revealed an unexpected,isolated phylogenetic position of *** we conducted phylogenomic analysis by sampling populations of *** and its sympatric species *** and Sinosasa polytricha reflecting different genomic signals,by deep genome *** molecular evidence from chloroplast genes and genome-wide SNPs,we deciphered the phylogenetic relationships of *** plastid and nuclear data indicate that *** is more closely related to Sinosasa,which is discordant with the taxonomic *** further explore this molecular-morphological conflict,we screened 411“perfect-copy”syntenic genes to reconstruct phylogenies using both the concatenation and coalescent *** observed extensive discordance between gene trees and the putative species tree.A significant hybridization event was detected based on 411 genes from the D subgenome,showing *** was a hybrid descendant between Sinosasa longiligulata and ***,with 63.56%and 36.44%inheritance probabilities of each ***,introgression events were detected in the C subgenome between *** and *** in the same distribution *** findings suggest that sympatric hybridization and introgression play a crucial role in the origin of *** providing an empirical example of bamboo of hybrid origin using comprehensive analyses based on genomic data from different inheritance systems and morphological characters,our study represents a step forward in understanding of reticulate evolution of bamboos.

Airborne transmission is among the most frequent types of nosocomial *** years have witnessed frequent outbreaks of airborne diseases,such as severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS)in 2002,Middle East respiratory syndrome(MERS)in 2012,and coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),with the latter being on the rampage since the end of 2019 and bringing the effect of aerosols on health back to the fore(Gralton et al.,2011;Wang et al.,2021).An increasing number of studies have shown that certain highly transmissible pathogens can maintain long-term stability and efficiently spread through aerosols(Leung,2021;Lv et al.,2021).As reported previously,influenza viruses that can spread efficiently through aerosols remain stable for a longer period compared to those that *** World Health Organization(WHO)has stated that aerosol-generating procedures(AGPs)play an important role in aerosol transmission in hospitals(Calderwood et al.,2021).AGPs,referring to medical procedures that produce aerosols,including dental procedures,endotracheal intubation,sputum aspiration,and laparoscopic surgeries,have been reported to be significantly associated with an increased risk of nosocomial infection among medical personnel(Hamilton,2021).

BACKGROUND Intestinal colic is a common complication in patients who have undergone radical surgery for colorectal *** Chinese medicine has advantages,including safety and stability,for the treatment of intestinal *** irra-diation for abdominal ironing has been applied in the treatment of many gas-trointestinal *** gromwell oil has the effects of clearing heat,cooling blood,reducing swelling,and relieving *** The general effective rate in the observation group was 95.00%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(86.67%,P0.05).After 1,2,3,and 4 d of treatment,the duration of symptoms in both groups were decreased,and the duration in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(96.54±9.57 vs 110.45±11.23,87.26±12.07 vs 104.44±11.68,80.45±16.21 vs 99.44±14.95,73.18±15.58 vs 92.17±14.20;P0.05).CONCLUSION The use of lamp irradiation combined with purple gromwell oil gauze in patients with intestinal colic after radical surgery for colorectal cancer can reduce symptom duration,alleviate intestinal colic,and improve treatment efficacy,and this approach is *** is worth promoting the use of this treatment in clinical practice.

Next-generation advanced high/pulsed power capacitors urgently require dielectric materials with outstanding energy storage ***_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_(3)-based lead-free materials exhibit high polarization,but the high remanent polarization and large polarization hysteresis limit their applications in dielectric ***,high-entropy perovskite relaxor ferroelectrics(Na_(0.2)Bi_(0.2)Ba_(0.2)Sr_(0.2)Ca_(0.2))(Ti1-x%Zrx%)O_(3)are designed by adding multiple ions in the A-site and replacing the B-site Ti^(4+)with a certain amount of Zr^(4+).The newly designed system showed high relaxor feature and slim polarization-electric(P-E)***,improved relaxor feature and obviously delayed polarization saturation were found with the increasing of Zr^(4+).Of particular importance is that both high recoverable energy storage density of 6.6 J/cm^(3) and energy efficiency of 93.5%were achieved under 550 kV/cm for the ceramics of x=6,accompanying with excellent frequency stability,appreciable thermal stability,and prosperous discharge *** work not only provides potential dielectric materials for energy storage applications,but also offers an effective strategy to obtain dielectric ceramics with ultrahigh comprehensive energy storage performance to meet the demanding requirements of advanced energy storage applications.
