β-decay half-life and β-delayed neutron emission(βn) are of great importance in the development of basic science and industrial applications, such as nuclear physics and nuclear energy, where β--decay plays an important role. Many theoretical models have been proposed to describe β-decay half-lives, whereas the systematic study of βn is still rare. This study aimed to investigate β--decay half-lives and βn probabilities through analytical formulas and by comparing them with experimental data. Analytical formulas for β--decay properties have been proposed by considering prominent factors, that is, decay energy,odevity, and the shell effect. The bootstrap method was used to simultaneously evaluate the total uncertainty on calculations,which was composed of statistic and systematic uncertainties. β--decay half-lives, βn probabilities, and the corresponding uncertainties were evaluated for the neutron-rich region. The experimental half-lives were well reproduced. Additional predictions are also presented with theoretical uncertainties, which helps to better understand the disparity between the experimental and theoretical results.

The binding and proton separation energies of nuclides with Z,N=30-50 are investigated based on the shell model,with an uncertainty analysis via statistical *** formulas are used to obtain the binding and proton separation energies according to shell-model *** non-parametric bootstrap method is applied to establish an uncertainty decomposition and recomposition ***,this is used to estimate the stability of proton(s) emission for each *** formulas for calculating the binding energies with a systematic uncertainty of~0.3 Me V are proposed,and a reliable extrapolation ability is *** binding energy formulas deduce similar forms for their respective S_(p) and S_(2 p) energies,which predict the extension of the nuclear boundary of this region.A good description of the binding and proton separation energies is *** one-and twoproton separation energies and partial half-lives of proton emission are predicted,thus revealing a new ***,there are 30 unstable nuclides predicted to be bound against proton(s)-*** nuclear properties will be useful in nuclear astrophysics.

To study the quenching of single-particle strengths of carbon isotopes,a systematic analysis is performed for ^(9-12,14-20) C,with single neutron knockout reactions on Be/C targets,within an energy range from approximately 43 to 2100 MeV/nucleon,using the Glauber *** energies do not show any obvious effect on the resulting values across this wide energy *** extracted quenching factors are found to be strongly dependent on the proton-neutron asymmetry,which is consistent with the recent analysis of knockout reactions but is inconsistent with the systematics of transfer and quasi-free knockout reactions.

Extra-pair paternity(EPP)is commonly found in socially monogamous birds,especially in small passerine birds,and there are interspecific and intraspecific variations in the extent of *** Chestnut-vented Nuthatch(Sitta nagaensis)is a socially monogamous passerine bird,and verifying whether this species has EPP relies on parentage *** is not known to have *** this study,we developed SNP markers of this species that are informative for parentage analysis from double digest restriction site-associated DNA sequencing(ddRAD-seq)data.A panel consisting of 50 SNP markers,with a mean heterozygosity of 0.343,was used to resolve 95% of nestlings to *** combined exclusion probabilities for the first parent and second parent were 0.991 and 0.9999,*** panel of SNP markers is a powerful tool for parentage assignments in *** addition,we found that three offspring(7.9%)from three nests(23.1%)were the result of extra-pair fertilization out of 38 offspring in 13 *** study provided information on parentage analysis that has not been reported before in *** also supplemented the understudied EPP behavior of birds in Asia,contributing to a general understanding of the EPP behaviors of birds.

Reducing CO_(2)emissions of the iron and steel industry,a typical heavy CO_(2)-emitting sector is the only way that must be passed to achieve the‘dual-carbon’goal,especially in *** previous studies,however,it is still unknown what is the difference between blast furnace basic oxygen furnace(BF-BOF),scrap-electric furnace(scrap-EF)and hydrogen metallurgy *** quantitative research on the key factors affecting CO_(2)emissions is insufficient There is also a lack of research on the prediction of CO_(2)emissions by adjusting industria *** on material flow analysis,this study establishes carbon flow diagrams o three processes,and then analyze the key factors affecting CO_(2)***_(2)emissions of the iron and steel industry in the future is predicted by adjusting industrial structure The results show that:(1)The CO_(2)emissions of BF-BOF,scrap-EF and hydrogen metallurgy process in a site are 1417.26,542.93 and 1166.52 kg,respectively.(2)By increasing pellet ratio in blast furnace,scrap ratio in electric furnace,etc.,can effectively reduce CO_(2)emissions(3)Reducing the crude steel output is the most effective CO_(2)reduction *** is still 5.15×10^(8)-6.17×10^(8) tons of CO_(2)that needs to be reduced by additional measures.

A radiation-hardened phase-locked loop is proposed for phase interpolator clock and data recovery purposes. A sensitive node-compressed charge pump and multi-node cross coupling voltage-controlled oscillators are proposed in this phase-locked loop with the goal of achieving good jitter performance and improving anti-SET（SET,single-event transient） capability. The root mean square（RMS） jitter of the phase-locked loop is reduced from 3.7 ps to 2.58 ps at 2 GHz, while the laser threshold is improved from 120 p J to 370 p J compared to the unhardened phaselocked loop. The hardened phase-locked loop also does not lose its lock state from linear energy transfers（LETs） of 3.3 to 37.3 Me V·cm2/mg.

Increasing the recrystallization temperature to achieve better high-temperature performance is critical in the development of molybdenum alloys for ultrahightemperature applications,such as the newest generation of multitype high-temperature nuclear *** this study,an innovative strategy was proposed to improve the performance of molybdenum alloys at high temperature by using the two-dimensional MAX（where M is an early transition metal,A is an A-group element and X is C or N）ceramic material *** relationships between flow stress,strain rate and temperature were *** microstructure,distribution of misorientation and evolution of dislocations in the Mo-Ti3AlC2alloy were *** microscopic mechanism of the Ti3AlC2phase in the molybdenum alloy at high temperatures was *** experimental results showed that the peak flow stress of Mo-Ti3AlC2at 1600℃ reached 155 MPa,which was161.8% greater than that of pure *** activation energy of thermal deformation of Mo-Ti3AlC2was as large as537 kJ·mol-1,which was 17.6% more than that of pure *** recrystallization temperature reached 1600℃ or even *** topological reaction of the Ti3AlC2phase consumed a large amount of energy at high temperatures,resulting in increases in the deformation activation *** structures of AlTi3and Ti-O Magneli-phase oxides(Ti_nO2n-1) were formed in-situ,which relied on kink bands and interlayer slip,resulting in many dislocations during ***,the special two-dimensional of the structure Ti3AlC2ceramic inhibited the recrystallization behavior of the Mo *** results of this study can provide theoretical guidance for the development of a new generation of molybdenum alloys for use in ultrahigh-temperature environments.
