从上世纪70年代初开始,南美洲国家主要是巴西和智利,作为硫酸盐浆生产地,快速和持续的发展。其硫酸盐浆供应本国市场和国际市场。最近,南美洲其他国家也掌握并具备了速生材造林的技术和能力。乌拉圭和阿根廷显示出巨大的发展潜力,成为世界上重要的商品浆生产地。由于原木质优价廉,再加上造林方法和制浆技术得当,因此漂白硫酸盐浆具有很强的竞争力,这主要得益于桉树和松木,因为这2种树种的人工林、木材、制浆、漂白和产品质量都受到全球市场包括最苛刻的市场的普遍青睐。众所周知,巴西的漂白桉木硫酸盐商品浆不但质量和来源稳定,而且在竞争激烈的市场环境中具有非常强大的竞争力。智利硫酸盐商品浆的成功更多的要归功于辐射松制浆,但其桉木浆发展也较快。本文主要介绍从人工林种植（森林学）到商品浆的生产中,推动商品浆发展的因素。读者的阅历将有助于更好地理解这条成功的商业历程,并最终参与进来。由于南美洲商品浆的成功以人工林为基础, 因此本文将在最后一部分介绍一些有助于森林产业实现高产和环保的基础问题。

Classical-quantum correspondence has been an intriguing issue ever since quantum theory was proposed. The search- ing for signatures of classically nonintegrable dynamics in quantum systems comprises the interesting field of quantum chaos. In this short review, we shall go over recent efforts of extending the understanding of quantum chaos to relativistic cases. We shall focus on the level spacing statistics for two-dimensional massless Dirac billiards, i.e., particles confined in a closed region. We shall discuss the works for both the particle described by the massless Dirac equation （or Weyl equation） and the quasiparticle from graphene. Although the equations are the same, the boundary conditions are typically different, rendering distinct level spacing statistics.

This study sought to contribute to an improved understanding of soil erosion and redistribution on Mediterranean agricultural land, where traditional soil conservation practices have been applied over millennia to provide effective protection of cultivated land. The study was undertaken in the Na Borges catchment, a groundwater-dominated lowland limestone basin (319 km2), located in the northeastern part of Mallorca, Spain. The average sediment yield from the basin, based on river sediment load data, is < 1 t/km2·yr. The 137Cs technique was used to quantify soil redistribution rates over the past 40 years and to identify the key factors involved in soil erosion and redistribution processes. To estimate erosion and deposition rates and to elucidate the main factors affecting soil redistribution, samples were collected from six slope transects representative of the local land use and slope gradients and the presence or absence of soil conservation practices. A mass balance and a profile distribution conversion model were used for cultivated areas and areas of natural vegetation, respectively, to derive point estimates of the soil redistribution rates from the 137Cs inventories measured for individual soil bulk cores. In areas without soil conservation practices, the estimated mean soil erosion rates ranged from 12.7 to 26.4 t/ha·yr, which correspond to the slight and moderate erosion classes. The erosivity of Mediterranean climatic conditions combined with the influence of agricultural practices and slope gradient on soil erosion, represent the main factors responsible for the variation of soil losses documented for the cultivated land located in downslope areas, in the absence of soil conservation practices. Deposition dominated for those transects affected by soil conservation practices, with rates ranging between 18.8 and 96.6 t/ha·yr. The Salobo 3A polymetallic Cu (Au-Mo-Ag) deposit, located in the southeastern part of the Amazonian Craton, northern Brazil, is hosted by an Archean metavolcano-sedimentary sequence of Salobo Group. The copper mineralization consists of bornite-chalcocite and bornite-chalcopyrite disseminated with magnetite. In this paper we attempt to date the mineralization episodes and to characterize the fluid sources. The stepwise Pb leaching technique applied to chalcocite, tourmaline, chalcopyrite and magnetite yielded 207Pb-206Pb ages of 2705 ± 42 Ma, 2587 ± 150 Ma, 2427 ± 130 Ma, and 2112 ± 12 Ma, respectively. The older age is interpreted as the timing of primary mineralization. Ages of 2.58 Ga and 2.42 Ga are considered to be related to tectonic reactivation of the Itacaiúnas Belt, and the younger age, obtained on late magnetite crystals, suggests the presence of Paleoproterozoic hydrothermal episode. Sm-Nd and Rb-Sr ages of 2.4 and 2.1 Ga were obtained for schists from the Salobo Group and chloritized gneisses of the Xingú Complex, respectively. The strong radiogenic Pb isotopic compositions of all analyzed minerals suggest a continental environment for the mineralizations. Our geochronological results are in agreement with a primary syngenetic origin for the Salobo mineralization, with late remobilization into brittle-ductile structures during a policyclic evolution of the Carajás-Cinzento strike-slip system. Low-grade metamorphism and anorogenic granitic plutonism affected the area at ca. 2.1 and 1.8 Ga, respectively.

A wealth of pre-clinical reports and data derived from human subjects and brain autopsies suggest that microbial infections are relevant to Alzheimer’s disease(AD).This has inspired the hypothesis that microbial infections increase the risk or even trigger the onset of *** models have been developed to explain the increase in pathogenic microbes in AD *** this hypothesis is well accepted in the field,it is not yet clear whether microbial neuroinvasion is a cause of AD or a consequence of the pathological changes experienced by the demented *** the same line,the gut microbiome has also been proposed as a modulator of *** this review,we focus on human-based evidence demonstrating the elevated abundance of microbes and microbe-derived molecules in AD hosts as well as their interactions with AD ***,the direct-purpose and potential off-target effects underpinning the efficacy of anti-microbial treatments in AD are also addressed.

This paper presents an experimental and analytical investigation of the influence of variables related to soil weathering on the geomechanical performance of sand-silt mixtures containing lateritic soils,*** weathered tropical soils with the influence of interparticle *** sand-silt mixtures containing different relative proportions between uniform sand and lateritic soil were produced,and geomechanical soil characterization tests were *** on the results,a transition from a primarily coarse-to a fine-grained prevailing soil structure was found to cause considerable impact on the geomechanical performance of these soils,as evidenced by design variables related to soil mineralogy and size distribution ***,fines contents of both individual soil particles and soil aggregations were found to correlate with experimental results,while the relative proportion between sesquioxides(aluminum,and iron oxides),and silica,***-silica ratios(SSR^(-1)),facilitated estimates concerning changes in geomechanical ***,the application of the sandsilt mixtures containing lateritic soil on soil walls reinforced with polymeric strips was also evaluated,further emphasizing the potential advantages of adopting variables related to soil weathering on design guidelines concerning tropical soils.
