Purpose: Th. aim of th.s study was to examine wh.th.r th. efficacy of transth.oretical.model.TTM)-based interventions on ph.sical.activity(PA)varied according to th. fol.owing criteria:(1) interventions targeted th. actual.stages of ch.nge(SOCs) or did not;(2) participants were sel.cted according to th.ir SOC or were not; and(3) its th.oretical.constructs(decisional.bal.nce, temptation, sel.-efficacy, processes of ch.nge).Meth.ds: Th.rty-th.ee randomized control.ed trial. assessing TTM-based interventions promoting PA in adul.s were systematical.y ***: Th. between-group h.terogeneity statistic(Qb) did not reveal.any differential.efficacy eith.r in interventions targeting th. actual.SOC compared with.th.se th.t did not(Qb = 1.48, p = 0.22) or in interventions sel.cting participants according to th.ir SOC compared with.th.se th.t did not(Qb = 0.01, p = 0.91). TTM-based interventions enh.nced PA beh.vior wh.th.r th.y targeted th. actual.SOC(Coh.n's d = 0.36; 95%confidence interval.CI): 0.22–0.49) or not(d = 0.23; 95%CI: 0.09–0.38) and wh.th.r th.y sel.cted th.ir participants according to th.ir SOC(d = 0.33; 95%CI: 0.13–0.53) or not(d = 0.32; 95%CI: 0.19–0.44). Th. moderators of th. efficacy of TTM-based interventions were th. number of th.oretical.constructs used to tail.r th. intervention(Qb = 8.82, p = 0.003), th. use of sel.-efficacy(Qb = 6.09, p = 0.01), and th. processes of ch.nge(Qb = 3.51, p = 0.06).Concl.sion: TTM-based interventions significantl. improved PA beh.vior, and th.ir efficacy was not moderated by SOC but by th. TTM th.oretical.constructs.

In th. present study, sol.gel.process is used to synth.size P-doped TiO2 xerogel. by th. cogel.tion meth.d of a functional.zed P al.oxide, (Nh.-(Ch.)2-Nh.(Ch.)2-P(O)-(OC2h.)2) with.Ti(OC3h.)4 in eith.r 2-meth.xyeth.nol.or isopropanol. Th. ph.sph.rus-doping improved th. th.rmal.stabil.ty of titania and decreased th. ph.se transformation of anatase into rutil.. Th.s modification by ph.sph.rus sh.fted th. absorption edge of titania to th. visibl. region as proved by Diffuse refl.ctance measurements, and th.s offers th. possibil.ty to produce visibl. l.gh. effective TiO2 ph.tocatal.st. Th. excel.ent ph.tocatal.tic activity of P-doped TiO2 xerogel. compared to pure TiO2 coul. be expl.ined by its h.gh.surface area and smal. TiO2-anatase crystal.ite size. From th.se resul.s, it was proved by using th.ee different model. th.t ph.sph.rus intrinsical.y infl.ences th. ph.tocatal.tic activity.

Agroforestry systems h.ve th. potential.to provide year-l.ng income opportunities via th. integrated forage or crop, timber, and l.vestock. l.gumes are an attractive al.ernative option during th. growing season wh.n more traditional.forages may not be as productive. Th. obj.ctive of th.s study was to test th. establ.sh.ent of arrowl.af and wh.te cl.ver grown under varying pine tree al.ey width.. In 2011, existing forage was removed in 15-yr ol. l.bl.l.y pine tree row al.eys of different width. (3.7, 4.9, 7.3, and 9.8 m), incl.ding an open area. Arrowl.af, as an annual. was repl.nted in 2012. Seedl.ngs were counted twice/year, wh.l. dry matter was measured th.ee times/year. Ph.tosynth.tical.y active radiation (PAR) was measured in al. al.ey width. to compare l.gh. penetration th.ough.th. canopy. h.t and dry conditions occurred th.ough.ut 2012, affecting resul.s. In 2012 and 2013, th. greatest PAR for most treatments was observed in j.ne. Seedl.ng counts for al. treatments were greatest immediatel. after establ.sh.ent, and gradual.y decl.ned th.ough.ut th. course of th. study. Dry matter yiel.s increased th.ough.ut th. growing season, and were greatest in arrowl.af cl.ver in th. open area on al. measurement dates;h.wever, increased weed pressure and repeated fl.oding affected yiel.s. Th.s study demonstrated th.t cl.ver establ.sh.ent in sh.dy wooded areas is possibl., but onl. under suitabl. environmental.conditions.
