Trinomial tree model of the real options approach used in mining investment price forecast and analysis

In order to effectively avoid the defects of a traditional discounted cash flow method, a trinomial tree pricing model of the real option is improved and used to forecast the investment price of mining. Taking Molybdenum ore as an example, a theoretical model for the hurdle price under the optimal investment timing is constructed. Based on the example data, the op- tion price model is simulated. By the model, mine investment price can be computed and forecast effectively. According to the characteristics of mine investment, cut-off grade, reserve estimation and mine life in different price also can be quantified. The result shows that it is reliable and practical to enhance the accuracy for mining investment decision.

Facile Preparation of a Porous Biochar Derived from Waste Crab Shell with High Removal Performance for Diesel

In this study,a porous biochar material derived from waste crab shell was prepared by one-step hydrothermal carbonization and acetic acid activation method at 180°C,which was characterized by SEM,BET,XRD and *** results show that the as-prepared crab shell biochar(CSB)exhibits a fluffy irregular layered structure with abundant pores and oxygen-containing functional groups,which can facilitate the adsorption of diesel using *** addition,batch adsorption experiments had been performed,effects of initial diesel concentration,adsorption time,adsorbent dosage and pH on the diesel adsorption using CSB were analyzed,which could be observed that CSB has high removal efficiency for diesel,and the maximum removal rate is up to 80.1%.The adsorption isotherms and kinetic studies were also investigated to determine the adsorption mechanism of diesel using CSB,the results show that the Langmuir model and the pseudo-second-order model are more suitable for describing the adsorption of diesel using CSB,indicating that the adsorption of diesel oil by CSB is monolayer chemical *** study will provide a theoretical basis for the high-value utilization of waste crab shell,which has a great potential in the treatment of oil spill.

The global consumption of p-xylene(PX)for the production of polymers has raised serious concerns about its impact on the *** various reports have shown the risks that PX could pose to human health,research into cost-effective remedial methods to remove PX from the environment has gained *** this work,a hierarchical porous crab shell biochar(KCS)was synthesized,characterized,and evaluated for its efficiency to remove PX from aqueous *** characterizations of KCS,including the porous structure,surface functional group,phase structure,and surface morphology,were discussed by N_(2) adsorption-desorption,FTIR,XRD,and *** adsorption experiments showed that the maximum adsorption capacity of PX on KCS was 393 mg/g within 5 min,larger than most biological/biomass materials,mainly due to the higher specific surface area of 2046 m^(2)/g,and abundant lipophilic functional *** adsorption kinetics study indicated a pseudo-second-order model which implied that the adsorption of PX was due to *** parameters showed that the values ofΔH°andΔG°were both negative,indicating that the PX adsorption process on KCS was spontaneous and *** performance of KCS in delivering a cost-effective,fast,and efficient solution for the removal of PX from aqueous solution would greatly benefit current environmental remediation efforts.

Intestinal failure-associated liver disease(IFALD)is a common complication of long-term parenteral nutrition that is associated with significant morbidity and *** is mainly characterized by cholestasis in children and steatohepatitis in ***,there is no effective approach to prevent or reverse the *** cell death(RCD)represents a fundamental biological paradigm that determines the outcome of a variety of liver *** cell death is reclassified into several types,based on the mechanisms and morphological *** evidence has linked different modes of RCD,such as apoptosis,necroptosis,ferroptosis,and pyroptosis to the pathogenesis of liver *** studies have shown that different modes of RCD are present in animal models and patients with *** the pathogenic roles of cell death may help uncover the underlying mechanisms and develop novel therapeutic strategies in *** this review,we discuss the current knowledge on how RCD may link to the pathogenesis of *** highlight examples of cell death-targeted interventions aiming to attenuate the disease,and provide perspectives for future basic and translational research in the field.

In order to study the rules of rock bursts caused by faults by means of mechanical analysis of a roof rock-mass balanced structure and numerical simulation about fault slip destabilization, the effect of coal mining operation on fault plane stresses and slip displacement were studied. The results indicate that the slip displacement sharply increases due to the decrease of normal stress and the increase of shear stress at the fault plane when the working face advances from the footwall to the fault itself, which may induce a fault rock burst. However, this slip displacement will be very small due to the increase of normal stress and the decrease of shear stress when the working face advances from the hanging wall to the fault itself, which results in a very small risk of a fault rock burst.

Giant magneto-impedance （GMI） is effectively enhanced by the mutual magnetic interaction between two amorphous microwires. A comparative study on GMI properties of a single wire and two wires arranged in par- allel mode was reported in this work. Two-peak （TP） of impedance characteristic is presented when the dc external field changed from 0 to 320 A,m-＇ in two-wire system, which is attributed to successive magnetization process in two wires induced by their magnetic interaction. And the evolution of single peak to TP phenomenon, when the distance between two wires is upto 8 ram, evidences a distance dependence of transformation from successive magnetization to simultaneous via a corresponding dis- tance dependence of magnetostatic interactions. It is pro- posed that the recombination of magnetic interaction and the shielding effect results in a distance dependency of GMI response. When the distance is 8 ram, the magneti- zation process is close to synchronous between two wires, which give rises to higher circular permeability and better GMI response. The impedance ratio AZ/Z increases from 74.5 % of single wire to 172.4 % at 10 MHz. However, when the distance is upto 12 mm, the magnetic interaction is weak and magnetization process is completely independent, and GMI response decreases, relatively. This indicates that the GMI response could be effectively improved in a two-wire connection with an optical distance, which is promising and useful for the application of high-performance GMI sensors.

An electrochemical method was used to examine Au surface absorption and passivation under the most commonly employed pH conditions in an alkaline Au leaching *** polarization at different pH values was obtained through the current step *** pH 10,no absorption layer was *** the pH was increased to 11,an absorption layer was formed through the Au electrode *** pH 12,the entire system could not be stabilized,even after long durations because of the thiourea oxidation and *** samples were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),and atomic force microscopy(AFM).AFM observations of the Au plating surface and SEM-EDS analyses for the Au-coated graphite surface indicated that a passivation membrane was formed on the Au surface after its use in the alkaline thiourea Au leaching ***-step leaching was used to confirm the conclusions drawn from the experimental *** twostage experimental results further confirmed the existence of a passivation membrane.
