Radiative decays D((s))*→D((s))γare revisited in light of new experimental data from the BaBar and BEsⅢ*** radiative couplings gD*Dγencoding nonperturbative QcD effects are calculated in the framework of the covariant confined quark model developed by *** compare our results with other theoretical studies and experimental *** couplings(in GeV-1)|g(D*+D+γ)|=0.45(9)and|g(D*0D0γ)|=1.72(34)calculated in our model agree with the corresponding experimental data|g(D*+D+γ)|=0.47(7)and|g(D*0D0γ)|=1.77(16).The most interesting case is the decay Ds*→Dsγ,for which a recent prediction based on light-cone sum rules at next-to-leading order|gDs*Dsγ|=0.60(19)deviates from the first(and only to date)lattice QcD result|gDs*Dsγ|=0.11(2)at nearly3σ.Our calculation yields|gDs*Dsγ|=0.29(6),which falls somehow between the two mentioned results,although it is larger than those predicted in other studies using quark models or QcD sum rules.

High resolution laser induced fluorescence, spectra of IrN in the spectral region between 394 and 520 nm were recorded using laser vaporization/reaction free jet expansion and laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy. seven new vibronic transition bands were observed and analyzed. Two Ω=1 and five Ω=0 new states were identified. Least squares fit of rotationally resolved transition lines yielded accurate molecular constants for the upper states. spectra of isotopic molecules were observed, which provided confirmation for the vibrational assignment. comparison of the observed electronic states of IrB, Irc, and IrN provides a good understanding of the chemical bonding of this group of molecules.

As a joint effort between the chinese Academy of sciences and the Hong KongUniversity of science and Technology, the BLOssOMs sensor network project aims to identify researchissues at all levels from practical applications down to the design of sensor nodes. In thisproject, a heterogeneous sensor array including different types of application-dependent sensors aswell as monitoring sensors and intruding sensors are being developed. Application-dependentpower-aware communication protocols are also being studied for communications among sensor nodes. Anontology-based middleware is built to relieve the burden of application developers from collecting,classifying and processing messy sensing contexts. This project is also developing a set of toolsallowing researchers to model, simulate/emulate, analyze, and monitor various functions of sensornetworks.

This work analyzes the photometric data of the Oort spike comets.c.2019 L3(ATLAs)and c/2019 O3(Palomar)obtained between 2016 and 2023 by the ATLAs network and the Belgian Olmen *** comets Palomar and ATLAs have a typical and unusually high activity level,respectively,based on the Afρparameter corrected to phase angle zero at *** absolute magnitude of comets ATLAs and Palomar in the o-band is 4.71±0.05 and 4.16±0.02 *** cometary activity of comets ATLAs and Palomar probably began at r>13 au before perihelion and will end at r>14 au after perihelion,which means that they could remain active until the s.c.nd half of *** nucleus of comet ATLAs has a minimum radius of 7.9 km,and the nucleus of comet Palomar could be a little *** c-o colors of the comets ATLAs and Palomar are redder and bluer,respectively,at perihelion than the solar twin YBP *** comets showed a bluish trend in the coma color with decreasing heliocentric *** Palomar probably had two outbursts after its perihelion,each releasing about 10^(8)kg of *** slopes of the photometric profile of the comae of these comets were between 1and 1.5,indicating a steady state during the observation campaign.

Neurodegenerative disorders affect millions of people worldwide,and the prevalence of these disorders is only projected to rise as the number of people over 65 will drastically increase in the coming *** therapies exist to aid in symptomatic relief,effective treatments that can stop or reve rse the progress of each neurodegenerative disease are ***,research on the role of extracellular ves.c.es as disease markers and therapeutics has been intensively ***,30-150 nm in diameter,are one type of extracellular ves.c.es facilitating cell-to-cell *** are thought to play a role in disease propagation in a variety of neurodegenerative diseases,s.c. as Alzheimer's disease,Parkinson s disease,and amyotrophic lateral ***,the exosomes derived from the patients are an invaluable source of disease *** the other hand,exosomes,especially those derived from stem cells.c.uld serve as a therapeutic for these disorders,as seen by a rapid increase in clinical trials investigating the therapeutic efficacy of exosomes in different neurological *** review summarizes the pathological burden and therapeutic approach of exosomes in neurodegenerative *** also highlight how heat shock increases the yield of exosomes while still maintaining their therapeutic ***,this review concludes with outstanding questions that remain to be addressed in exosomal research.
